I dont know that I would even give them a star, I unfortunately had a horrible experience with this salon. I had Roxie do a dramatic cut on my hair removing about 6 inches. It wasnt at all like the picture I showed her or wanted. I wanted an A line and I got a bob. I thought maybe when I got home if I straightened it myself it would look better but come to find out it was completely uneven. I didnt even realize it, being the back of my head, until the next day at work when my coworker pointed it out! Then I noticed that the left side was longer than the right side. When I called to let them know what happened Roxie was completely unprofessional! She told me " your hair wasnt that way when you left" basically insisting I cut my hair. She had the salon manager call me back the next day that was far more professional and stated that she would like me to come in and have them take a look at it. I wanted to give them the opportunity to see how uneven it was, so I obliged and came in. I had one of the other hairdressers take a look at and stated that she could fix it. I told her that at this point I just wanted a refund and to go somewhere I knew and they would do it correctly. She stated that she would have the salon manager give me a call to discuss. As I was driving home I received a call from Roxie stating "this seems like it is all a misunderstanding." Misunderstanding or not you cut my hair uneven, shorter than what I wanted and did not give me the style I originally wanted. She did apologize finally I think realizing she messed up and stated that they would process my refund. Well 10 days later I have no refund and Im out 130.00 for a haircut. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone! Youve been warned!!

I came to Hair Rx after being disappointed by several other salons. I originally found their website on Google and was happy to see that they had an Instagram so you could see their work before going for it. The haircut I was aiming for was "The Rachel", and I knew it was going to be more detailed and drastic than some of the cuts Ive gotten before, so I was shooting for someone with a lot of experience that wouldnt let me down. After scanning around their website for awhile and reading their reviews, I went ahead and gave them a call. I told them what I was going for and they recommended Lisa. I was a little nervous, but also hopeful that maybe this time would be different. When I arrived, we talked over the haircut and then she went to work. I was instantly surprised, and very happy to see that she made sure she knew exactly what I had in mind, and talked me through every step and product along the way. It only took about ten minutes for me to see that this was going to be a great haircut and an even better visit. Im so happy to say that Lisa went above and beyond my expectations and did an absolutely terrific job. It didnt take very long, and I was amazed to get exactly what I had pictured and was hoping for. She offered me tips for my own future in hairstyling and gave off a warm kindness that cant be beat. A few days later, I got a handwritten thank you card in the mail, proving even more that if youre looking for a good salon, this is the place. I cant wait until next time! Way to go!

I have been going to Hair RX for five years. I followed Felicia Boccaccio over from another salon. She has been making my hair fabulous for six years! I can call her up and squeeze right in! She knows what looks good on me and knows my fears! You know, when you go to those "other" places and say " Just a trim" and the WACK your hair off? She wont do that! I have long hair and she knows I am a freak about that! She gives me a healthy trim every time without giving me a nervous break down. My color always looks super shiny and she is current with all the trends. I have had them all.... I had red hair extensions, feathers, and different hair color all mixed in! Sometimes you just want something simple and fun so she put a red streak in the front. The owners of the salon treat you like you are the only customer. I enjoy a glass of wine at every visit and from time to time they have a complimentary paraffin wax hand treatment, and man, do I love that! I also have tried just about every product they have. The stylist themselves use their own products so they are all knowledgeable on all the products and will help you pick which one is right for your hair. Of course, Felicia , is my Rock Star, and you should go RIGHT NOW and call her up, but the Hair RX team as a whole is great. They are all super friendly and love to talk about hair and what ever else. What is talked about in the chair... stays in the chair.... Call up Felicia- you wont regret it!!!

Have been looking for someone new to do my hair after my friend who has been doing my hair for years moved. I am very picky when it comes to my hair and who does it. Made an appointment very easily. Was very nervous and apprehensive when I went in (as I usually am when it comes to something new, especially with my hair), and immediately felt at ease with the kindness that greeted me at the door as well as when Kelli introduced herself. I explained to Kelli about how I am with my hair, told her what I envisioned as I was wanting a little change and she took a picture of a color and cut and made it real. I wanted to go slightly lighter than I had the last time, so she attempted to lift the black (which in the end unfortunately didnt work-but for the better I think). Usually with the length of my hair for a cut and color I am in the chair about 2 hours. This time, because of the lift, I was in the chair just about 3 hours. The amazing thing was, I did NOT feel like I was there and sitting that long. Kelli was very friendly and honest. I felt like I was back with my friend again. Not to mention, when I walked out and the immediate compliments I received was outstanding. I love my new look, and I look forward to continue to come to Hair Rx in Aurora! The rest of the staff seemed very friendly as well and the facility was very clean! Thank you Kelli for making it an outstanding first, but definitely not the last, visit!

I relocated to this area about a year ago, which meant I had to say goodbye to my wonderful stylist of 13 years. She wrote down what she used on my hair so that I could give it to a new stylist. After a bad experience (elsewhere), I actually went all the way home to have my stylist give me back the color and cut I love so much. So I did some online research and discovered Hair Rx Salon. I read the reviews and surfed the website. Satisfied, I chose Master Stylist, Brittany and I told her my story and gave her the formula that I had written down. She assured me that even though the salon used a different product, she could definitely match my hair color. She disappeared for what seemed like a long time, probably just because I was nervous, and when she returned she explained to me that she had actually gone online to be certain that she mixed the correct formula to match my color. I have to admit I was still nervous. When Brittany had finished my hair color and trim I was so happy. She had matched my color perfectly! And because they have a personal file on me, I never have to be nervous again that my hair will come out as a bleached blonde!!! Thank you, Brittany, for taking the time to do it properly the first time. So if you are looking for a new stylist, Im certain that you will find the perfect one for you here at Hair Rx Salon.
