I am giving us five stars for having to deal with customers who come in “wheeling and dealing” to get the highest quality of repair for as little as possible. We go out of our way for our customers and always have, so it is disappointing to get negative reviews from customers that fail to understand the complexity of our business because of their unwillingness to listen, their lack of knowledge and sense of self entitlement. Are we 100% perfect? Nope, we never have claimed to be. Will we do everything we can to make a job right? Yes. Do cars sometimes get damaged? Yes. In the case of a popped tire, the tire caught the side of a floor lift while pulling it into the stall and was punctured. We ordered a new one had it shipped in from California and put it on the vehicle. Customer dropped in the same day it had happened prior to us being able to call him. We were hiding nothing, repairs were not delayed and the cost to the customer nothing…$0.00. So Lets see, scratched tint, yes happens insurance paid for it to be replaced cost to customer $0.00 missing weather strip, yes tech missed but was reinstalled when customer came back for a bumper repair. did not replace mirror as listed, yes and no we replaced the mirror cap not the entire mirror. We would have replaced entire mirror assembly but customer wanted the cost of the mirror applied to the cost of repairing his front bumper. broke window molding, No all the window molding were fine when the vehicle left the shop. The only damaged window molding is on the passenger side door which was damaged by the customer installing his own aftermarket parts prior to coming in for repairs. wire boot not attached yes boot didn’t get snapped all the way in customer pointed it out to me prior to leaving. I took the two second to push the cover back in place and snap it all the way on prior to the customer leaving. realighn bumper. The bumper was damaged when it came in the first time and the only thing we did was take it off and put it back on due to the fender repair. Customer came back after the first repair to have us make his repair to the front bumper look better and paint the bumper. Customer did not want to pay the cost for the repairs to be done 100% correct and had negotiated the cost down to what he had received. Was there a small chip in the paint next to the fog lamp when he picked up his car? Yes about half the size of this @ sign. I believe our tech nicked the bumper when installing the fog lamp. When I tried to tell the customer that it was our mistake he dismissed me and started to negotiate the cost he owed down. He needed $7.00 in change for a twenty and asked if we would just wave the $13.00 and some change. We did. I was going to have the bumper repainted but the customer never stopped trying to work a deal to even hear that as an option. Seemed to be more important to the customer to get a good deal then a quality repair. As for quoting a customer $1500.00 for painting an entire truck never happened. Painting an entire truck starts at $10,000.00 and goes up from there. As for our new tech, we stand behind him. He is not new to the industry just new to the shop and is learning how we do thing procedurally around here. I.E…. documenting when he finds parts are missing on a car from a poorly done DIY repair. We treat customers with the upmost respect at our shop and do the best we can to make sure this very dynamic, confusing, costly and frustrating process goes as smoothly as possible for them. I hope that by “disrespecting” the car in the situation above didn’t hurt the cars feeling too much and if it did I hope the customer is kind enough to tell is car we are sorry.

If you care anything about your car, dont do it! This repair shop does a good job as far as damage and paint repair, but for some reason cant get the car back together properly. They also popped my tire and never told me about till I asked to see the car. And thats not all. Lets see, scratched tint, missing weather strip, did not replace mirror as listed, broke window molding, wire boot not attached realighn bumper. I took the car back to have these issues fixed and have the front bumper painted. A deal was made to nix the mirror for the paint and repair for the bumper. Im always willing to give a second chance, boy was I wrong! The entire bumper should have been painted as discussed in an earlier conversation with Joe. This didnt happen. Once again the failed to put the car back together right. The grill was loose and pushed in. So I decided that I would fix it. I remember Joe telling me that they realigned the bumper and that was as good as it gets. Wrong! As I proceeded to remove the radiator shrowd, two of the fasteners were missing the underside clips This is why there was such a big gap that I was told, thats as good as it gets. All they did was drop the fasteners in the exposed holes, giving it the appearance the they were connected. Wrong! In the beginning of this whole shebang, Joe said they just hired a new tech and he was still learning. If this were my shop, I would of fired him. And if hes the tech that put the car back together for the second time, he defently needs to be fired now! I will be in touch with my insurance company with all the details. I even found it a little strange that they gave a friend a quote of $10,000 to paint his truck and just a few months earlier they gave him a quote for $1500. Ive been fixing up cars for a long while now and when I see how the disrespected my car, it outrages me how this shop has no quality control. Word of advice, if what Joe said about the tech is true, then it would be a good idea that he dont touch a damn thing until he knows how to disassemble a car and put it back together without missing parts and wrongfully put back together!!!!!!

If you love your car and want to save time and money I do not recommend taking it to Perry&Terry auto repair shop. I took my car there after a small car accident. They took thousands of dollars from the insurance company for the work and then kept my car with them for an entire month. When I finally got it home and inspected the repairs I found that the windshield cowl grille was not tightened properly, there was a loose screw on the fender, and foam rubber was missing from the fender. I fixed what I could myself and then while driving, I noticed that there was something wrong with the steering wheel. Since it was getting dangerous to continue driving, I took the car back to fix the damage that they caused. After some finger pointing, they did agree to fix the fender and re-tape the passenger door molding, which they did not do in the middle section. In addition, a proper alignment was not done, neither was the steering mechanism fixed. Later I found out that they also used recycled parts to fix the car. No need to go into every detail of what did or did not get fixed correctly, but this gives you an idea about the poor quality of their work. After all of this hassle, I am still left with a car that is not entirely fixed and needs more work done by another body shop. I am extremely disappointed and I feel robbed of my time and money.
