The only reason for one star is that they couldnt get 0 stars. We took our car in for a few things to be fixed. The heater core was replaced and now makes a loud knocking noise after our warranty company paid over 2000.00 to fix. The tech told us its just going to do that. So now I am stuck with this knocking sound! Now, the brakes we had the front brakes rotors and caliper on one side replaced. We left and the same noise was occurring that we took it in for. We took it back told nothing was wrong. Went back again a week later same noise, excessive brake dust this time Joe takes it back to have it looked at (is rude about it as well). I wait and am told this is occurring because now it needs rear brakes. As the rear brakes are metal on metal. I take it to another mechanic as my trust is gone here. I am told they r not metal on metal but could use replacement. Which I do and they did an amazing job. Front brakes still making noise, excessive brake dust. Mechanic at new shop even notes this on paperwork to address. I take back again am told rotors need to be turned ( after having new ones put on 6 weeks prior ??????) Makes no sense. ( I wonder if they were ever replaced?) After they turn them they now tell me me I need wheel bearing replaced. I take it to the other mechanic and am told the bearing are fine. It looks as if it is the quality of the brake pad used causing the issue. When at Sheridan Auto Tech Joe told us that they use OEM grade pads. I called Joe and told him the findings and he basically called me a liar told me to call my warranty company to pay for brakes and hung up on me. Very professional! I will never return or recommend this company they charge for things u do not need and repairs are done incorrectly. I have every piece of paperwork to verify my statement and am going to BBB when I complete this. I am also providing to my warranty Company so they never send customers to these rip offs!! Stay Away!!

(AROURA BRANCH IS EXCELLENT COLFAX BRANCH IS HORRIBLE) My 99 olds alero snapped a serpintine belt next door at their colfax branch. The powersteering pump was toast too. They took the car over night and charged me $350. Well the gasket wasnt tightened down right and all the fluid leaked out and left me my wife and our daughter stranded off colfax and broadway. THey sent a tow truck and 4 hours later it was done "right". Mysteriously before we even make it home the harmonic equalizer comes apart 3 BLOCKS FROM MY HOUSE!!! They then tell me its too far to tow and to drive it to their aroura branch. The auroura branch fixed it right and gave me a good price of $200. As for the Cofax branch my car makes a loud wine when i steer now and the temp guage freaks out at random. I would recomend the auroa branch but save your money and dont go to the colfax branch. Plus the mechanic smelled like weed when he talked to me so that explains the crappy repair job.

The main guy honks at me because I parked NY car to get it serviced. He gets out of the car with an attitude asking me what I was doing. I asked him first why he was honking at me and second if this is not the correct place to park then where should I park. I was not greeted when I walked in the lobby or told how long it would take. I sat there for hours with my car not being fixed. I would not suggest you take your can to this place. I finally left after hours of sitting around. My car is still not fixed and there closed for the 4th of July. I dont appreciate rudness if Im paying my hard earned money for a service. On July 1 I got my car back from Sheridan auto and it was not fixed I called in to let the mechanic know he asked me to bring it back. I said no and the mechanic hung up on me. Do not bring your car here l.

called on wednesday to see if they could get me in the next day for an alignment. they told me no problem. didnt get around to looking at my truck till friday. told me i needed a new lower ball joint before they could do an alignment. fine. couldnt pick my truck up friday night and ended up picking it up saturday morning. when i got to the shop the hood on my truck was open. This shop is on COLEFAX..not the safest place. To top it all off my brakes were super squishy on my drive home. not the way they were when i left my truck. could just be a coincidence. more unhappy about not getting my truck in when they said they could and leaving the hood open on my truck.

I use them because they are in network for my warranty. I recently had an alignment done at Brakes Plus on W. Colfax. During inspection Brakes Plus found issue with me front drive shaft. I drove right to Sheridan Auto Tech and they had it approved and installed in less than 2 hours. They also found that the gears on my steering rack were beginning to leak. This is key because that is what is adjusted for a wheel alignment and Brakes Plus did the alignment but didnt catch the leaking steering rack, they caught the drive shaft, but not the thing they were supposedly working on? Sheridan Auto Tech provided great customer service and Joe was awesome!

my husband james dropped our 05 ford focus here late monday (yesterday) afternoon due to several performance issues and dash warning lights previously the car had been taken to another facility referred to us by our car lot, they had the thing for 4 days and all they managed to due was to put air in the tires and reset the warning lights. seriously. sheridan auto not only got us our vehicle back within 24 hrs but diagnosed our issues (speed sensor, lower control arms, fuel filter, and cat) and repaired them. James claims that its the best the car has felt since we bought it last month! thanks!

Had my car towed in for repairs, it was over heating and the AirConditioner wasnt working. They fixed the over heating problem, didnt touch the Air Conditioner. I would think that if they replace a water pump that they would think about Thermostat. Had the car for one hour before the check engine light came on. Hmmmmmmm ! Talked with Joe this A.M. He explained the reason for not replacing the Thermostat housing. There seems to have been a miscommunication. The car is running fine, and I am happy with the outcome. So all in all I will still remain a customer of Sheridan Auto Tech.

I had a speed sensor issue on my 2000 Dodge Caravan (sensor failed, speedometer quit working, and so van stuck in 1st gear). These guys fixed it up right. They had the right part (output sensor) at half the cost of a commercial parts store, and they installed it for just a few bucks, and they did it quickly too. Thanks to Kevin (owner) for his honesty and to Edwardo the mechanic for doing things right and getting my van fixed up and running right. Thanks guys! Ill recommend you to my friends for sure. Overall a really good experience today with Sheridan Auto Tech.
