I got my car repaired at Lakewood Auto Electric in 2008. The repair went just fine, no complaints about that. But as I was driving away I realized my air conditioning no longer worked. I turned around and went to talk to the manager. I’ve never found someone so evasive at an auto shop. He started by questioning whether my air conditioning worked before I brought it in (I had already told him it did). He then proceeded to tell me why that was impossible, pointing to worn out AC parts under the hood. After asking him three times how it could just stop working after they had the car overnight when they claimed they didn’t touch the AC, he finally responded with “What can I tell you? Maybe the stars aligned.” He really didn’t want to take any responsibility for it, which I found pretty pathetic. I drove away, intending to pursue the matter further at a later time, but ended up getting a new car not long afterward for unrelated reasons. And I won’t be getting it ‘repaired’ at Lakewood Auto Electric.

DONT GET RIPPED OFF BY THIS SHOP ! Took my chevy truck here with dash gauge problems going on & off also my heater would not move from floor to defrost... They estimated $ 2000.00 to repair. They gave me a cost for diagnostic fee when I droped it off then tried to charge me double when I picked it up. They did not reconnect some of my switches when they re assymbled the dash...Another shop found a ground wire to frame loose & corroded that was all it was... Repair costed $65.00. This place is a rip off ... VERY UNETHICAL !!!

GREAT SERVICE! Very upfront, honest, dependable work. As a single woman I am always skeptical when I have to take my vehicle in for service. Lakewood Auto Electric was able to identify the problem, let me know the cost, order the part and fix the problem in a reasonable amount of time and the service was done correctly. Cardell is very nice, open and gives you great advice. I would definitely take my vehicle back there any time. Thanks LAE for offering dependable, honest service!

Do not go here. This place is a rip off. I understand diagnosing electrical problems in cars takes time and time is money. When you "somebody over the phone $500 to diagnose some headlights and thats a little excessive. The dealership is so much cheaper and better quality work in this place. The woman on the phone is real bitchy when she talks to you. If this was the last place on earth and my car was broken down I would still not go here ever.

I brought my truck in with no tail lights, it left in working condition. As far as the hourly rate of 125 per hour and the claim of 4 hours to fix the problem, it seems somewhat high, but I certainly could not have fixed it myself and was not there to witness the work so I can only say that they did what they had told me they would. Nice enough. Nobody is ever going to be in the best place when talking about a 500 dollar repair bill.

Best place to get electric done in all of Denver if you ask me. The staff was extremely knowledgeable. We were on our way to a vacation and had got no more than 5 mins down the road when everything went haywire. If it wasnt for the owner going well out of his way and above and beyond to help us our vacation would have been lost. Thank you to everyone that helped us at Lakewood Electric, we really appreciated it!!!

Took my wife van because none of the accessories worked. They pinpointed it to the bcm. They put in a used bcm and most of the accessories worked. Ended up taking it back and the found that the bcm was bad. Replaced it with a new one. Everything works now. Please understand that electrical and electronic issues on cars are very complex. I am an auto tech and I did not want to get in to it.

I made an appointment to have my Chevy Trailblazer due to the headlights suddenly going inop. I was told by the young lady on the phone to expect an $1100 bill and to leave the car for two days.. I also was told that they have done 7 other trailblazers recently with the same problem. I fixed it my self with a $31 relay from auto zone. This outfit should be reported to the State Attorney General

I went in there to see if they could pin point a problem for me for a minor issue I was having with my van.All he had to do was look in my van to see if I had my 2 6v batteries connected in series the right way.The Mf wanted me to schedule a 2 hour appointment for this.What a rip off.I would not do business with someone who wants to take money from people in a unprofessional way.

I had issues with two separate vehicles (Saturn and an RV) that no mechanic could figure out but Bryant was able to get both up and running. Very happy with the service and results! 5 stars for being able to do what a normal mechanic couldnt do and being amazing during the process.

Brain was great at what he does, great service too. I came to him wanting to do a modification on my jeep, every place I talked to said it could not be done but brain even though he was skeptical believed that it was possible and so now I have audio controls on my steering wheel ;)

I had no idea they do so much. Not just auto electric, but answers to all of lifes questions like "why are we here?" "whats our purpose on this big blue marble we call earth?" It says right there on the sign "the answer to a complex world" Thanks for the laugh guys

The service is terrible. The place is extremely expensive. Additionally, there is a considerable chance they will brake something while they are fixing the original problem and they will not respond. Please do not take your car there!

This company will take our money, they do not fix your electrical issue first time. They will tryt to charge you for something that was not the issue so he can get the money from their mistake.
