Ive got to say, I havent experienced a level of bad customer service like this in quite a while... I mean, I am actually offended to the point where I have to leave a review online, which is literally a first. I called in to L&R Automotive this afternoon to get a quote on an oil change, which should be a pretty simple and quick call. I was asked by the employee on the phone what kind of car I had, which I told him it was a Saab... He then proceeds to tell me abruptly, "we dont work on European vehicles, ya stupid ass", after which he hangs up on me. Im still fuming with the utter rudeness of this situation. Based on this experience alone - even if I had a domestic vehicle - I would absolutely avoid giving this shop any business.

In the past I have been impressed by L & R service, which is why I afforded them a second star. I came in to have my ECM (car computer checked) because my check engine light was on and I had concerns about my radiator fan running improperly. I didnt go back to the dealer I bought the car from because of terrible past experience with dealership service people. I was charged nearly $200.00 by L & R for the diagnostics on the ECM only to be told that I would have to take the car back to the dealer to have them replace/reprogram it. I contacted the dealer only to find out that replacing my ECM would cost over $400.00. So I basically paid L & R for almost nothing when I could have had the problem already halfway fixed.

Having a hard time finding someone to work on my truck, Called here to see about having him evaluate front end issues as he says he is a ford specialist. When I said anything about what someone else had said about problems with my truck, and said I wanted him to evaluate it because he was a specialist, he became argumentative about the whole conversation, repeating "what exactly am I supposed to do..." Implying everyone else has already worked on it... When I first moved to Arvada I needed work done on it then.....he was the first place I stopped, he was on vacation for a week and closed. BAD ATTITUDE....!!!

I was leaving on a road trip last Thanksgiving and realized my brake light was out. Not wanting to get a ticket I tried to get it fixed the day I was leaving. I got the bulb at the auto parts store and tried a couple of auto repair shops to get it installed. No one had time. I stopped in at L and R and explained my circumstance. They said they could install it immediately. I returned in an hour and it was done, it was done right and they did not charge me a penny! They just said Happy Thanksgiving! Great service and great people. I highly recommend this auto repair shop!!

Absolutely FANTASTIC auto-mechanic shop!!!!!! Vic and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and deliver top-notch results in a timely and convenient manner. I have used this shop for many years on a number of different vehicles for many different repairs and maintenance services. Im not sure who monitors these reviews, I wrote on Friday and its gone now. Anyway, two out of two trys with these guys the problem was fixed for less than 2 days. First situation the problem was back in less than an hour of getting the car back. Second, the leak came back just a day after getting the car back. Were taking the car in right now to see if they will fix it for free since we already paid them to fix the problem. Well see how it turns out.

Called to get a quote on engine replacement. Business must be great because they didnt seem to need mine. The guy told me to call back later because he didnt want to talk about it now. I can understand he might have a store full of customers so I asked when is a good time to call. He said just call me later. So I can sit around and guess when he might be willing or able to talk to me, or I can call other shops. Guess I will call the other shops.

I just want to say I have to give L& R Automotive a thumbs up My husband recently had his brakes done and in a timely manner by a very honest mechanic. I returned today for brakes on my car,and was treated with respect and honesty. My car went in this morning and was finished this afternoon. Thank you Vic and your mechanic!!!

This is a family owned and operated business that has great and honest people working and running it! They wont nickle and dime you and they will always give you their honest opinion of what is priority on your vehicle! If you are looking for good honest people that do great work L and R is the place to bring your car!

Honest shop - went to get headlights replaced and to fix an oil leak. I thought it was the oil pan on my Tahoe. They told me it was just the oil filter gasket dripping and to get an oil change. Wow. Theyre very honest and I will def. use again.

The new owner Mike did a great job working on our Ford Focus. My daughter had been driving the car and it needed 4 things repaired. Mike gave me a few options so I could get the three primary repairs done while also keeping it within my budget.

Not only did they fix the noise my car was making but they explained everything that was going on as well. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. If my car needs anything these guys are going to be the first people I go to.

Wouldnt go anywhere else! Should be called Pragmatic Automotive. Nothing you dont need, everything/only what you do. Id trust this place to watch the kids. Might check the hourly rate first though.
