Very unprofessional Company that attempts to cover up issues with fake reviews from relatives and employees! Beware because I dont want anyone else to experience the disappointment and dishonesty that we did in our dealings with Rick Baker and Remax Eagle Rock. I still encourage the owner to contact me. Let me start off by saying that even at my age I still get very excited when I am purchasing something new that Ive worked hard for. For years I have been watching for a commercial warehouse in our area that I could afford, and could turn into my dream man cave to store my toys in as well as work on my vehicles etc... So needless to say I was extremely excited when my other half called me to tell me about the perfect property with all and more than I could hope for, and in our price range. The property had just been listed a few hours earlier, and was just up the street from our house. After viewing the property several times we put in a full price offer through our Realtor the next day. That was a Monday morning with a 6:00PM deadline for an answer from the seller. That evening we received a call from our realtor informing us that the listing agent (Rick Baker) had called, and that our offer had been accepted by the seller. The only condition listed was that we close by April 17th due to the seller moving. We agreed, and Rick stated he would head over and get a signed contract that night. We were ecstatic to say the least as our dream was coming true. That week thinking we had just bought a property we proceeded to move quickly on financing making multiple trips to the bank to finalize our finances. On Friday out of the blue we were informed by our realtor that she had bad news, and that after several days of hounding Rick for the Contract, He had never come through with his promises and guarantees, and that more than likely our deal on this property was off. We were completely dumbfounded as to how this was even possible. She proceeded to explain and provide a written communication trail with Rick Baker over the past several days leading her to believe that even though he had ever gotten her a copy of the signed contract that everything was fine, and that is was just logistic problems with him meeting up with the owner. She showed us in text how starting as soon as Tuesday our Realtor began texting and asking Rick for the signed contract, and making sure everything was ok. Rick claimed he was 30 minutes away from meeting with the owner and would be back with the contract. Needless to say that never happened, and in fact Rick never would return another text or email for almost 2 days. So finally on Thursday he texted exclaiming the owner had now sold the property to another buyer and our deal was off. If Rick never got a signed contract then why were we told our offer was accepted and to move forward with financing by Rick? Second, why did it take Rick 4 days to finally disclose that there actually was no deal? All of this seems extremely fishy so we drove over and spoke to the seller "Chuck". Chuck said he had never accepted the offer by 6:00 Monday, and that Rick was aware of this. he was extremely sorry, but he had decided to take a cash offer form a neighboring owner. The funny thing is we were capable if necessary of being a cash buyer as well. this was never even discussed because it was never an issue. I have left Rick several texts, as well as voice messages, and never once got a response. I have since spoken with Crystal, the Managing Broker at Re/Max eagle rock with little resolve. I have now left a message for the Managing Owner, and plan to make a formal complaint if necessary with the State Board. As a Realtor you swear to the following list of fiduciary duties :•Honesty: ... •Agency Disclosure and Material Facts Disclosure: ... •Accounting: ... •Undivided loyalty: ... •Obedience: ... •Reasonable care and diligence Just common sense and professionalism is all we expected but were completely let down..

To those that have had a bad experience and didnt get the result you hoped for rather than every other day writing a review please take the necessary action to put in the written complaint to the Division of Real Estate as threatened. I am confident it will be investigated and no fault will be found from our Agent. We strive to offer great customer service and it is unfortunate that not all buyers offers are accepted.

Im not sure what happened for the person with the bad previous review and the experience they had with their Broker, however I can tell you that my Broker Russ Baca is a great family man and very hard working. His experience enabled him to realize what we were looking for and his knowledge of the market was second to none. Highly recommended!

Was extremely disappointed with the lack of follow up from the realtor named Rick in this office. We went through the Group instead on our purchase.
