The stone massage was top notch but I had an aweful customer service experience. Per the web site, it says that discounts are provided for teachers, military, etc. and to contact a SunWater representative for details. I asked if there was a military discount when I booked my appointment and told yes. I showed up, checked in, offered to pay and told the cashier that I was to receive a military discount and she asked if I wanted to pay after the massage. I said "sure." After the massage, I was told that there was no 10% discount for massages and that there were "new" people who took appointments who didnt know better. But why was nothing said when I checked in and first offered to pay and showed my ID? Very misleading and soured what had been a great massage. Web site and promotional materials need to be clearer. I paid full price $145 but wont recommend this place due to my experience.

Its unfortunate how poorly run this business is. I paid a lot of money to bring my entire staff to this business for a staff retreat. I left behind a bag of clothes that I designed and made myself. I called and emailed multiple times about retrieving my clothing and the spa ignored my calls and emails. The next time I visited the spa, low and behold, my clothing were being sold in their retail! That is correct, they stole my belongings from their lost and found and sold them for profit. I have continued to be ignored as I have been trying to get them to pay me for the clothing they stole from me and sold for a profit. The spa itself is ok, there are far better hot spring resorts to go to in Colorado, and more importantly, ones ran with integrity. I will be taking legal action against this company and spreading the word of their unprofessional, unacceptable and illegal actions.

Im from denver Denver and I planned our weekend get away around going to this spa. When we arrived the staff was very rude claiming that the facility was at capacity and our group of 4 might not be able to enjoy the facility. After "checking the facility " they said we were ok to go in. What is frustrating is there were multiple groups after us that didnt have a problem so I felt very singled out. The tubs outside were barley 97° when they were advertised as 104° highly irritated with my experience I was questioning asking for my money back. We decided to go down to the first floor which is indoor. The pool was nice and the tub there was hot. I only wish the outdoor tubs would have been more hot to enjoy sitting outside. The facility was very clean but didnt make up for any to negatives. More than likely I will not return or suggest to friends.

First off, this is the spa everyone talks about being so great. I have met good people who are connected with this place, so I am not going to give 1-star, yet given my experience, it deserves 1-star. My husband made a surprise appointment for me to soak here, because I have been under acute stress for a long time. I asked him to please cancel the appointment because right now in my current state of weakness, a hot soak would only lead me to dehydration, dizziness, and possibly passing out. My husband called to cancel the appointment, and without a word, the receptionist hung up on him. We have decided never to go to this place; and to find a better, real HEALTH spa, one that knows how to treat people respectably.

Finally, Colorado Springs metro area has a wonderful destination for soaking bliss. A variety of quality wood tubs, each with interesting views are located on several levels of this beautiful building. Then theres the awesome indoor soak pool with adjoining hot and cold dips for ultimate pleasure and relaxation, with outdoor access as weather permits. Friendly staff and clean facility. You may even enjoy the heated floor tiles in the changing/shower rooms with scented shampoos and body wash if youre into that sort of thing. We used to have to drive over the pass to Buena Vista / Mount Princeton for a relaxing soak, only to lose the mellow vibe by having to drive the two hours back. Thank you SunWater!

Very calm and relaxing. First comers get free towels to use and after that its 3 bucks a towel I believe. The people there were very nice and greeted us and told us about the various temperatures of natural hot tubs and even the mineral pool that was a bit cooler. My girlfriend and I went at night so caught the last glimpse of the sun and the mountains. Very beautiful. Would recommend going here in the evening to get the cool weather coupled with the amazing view. This is also great after doing the infamous incline. Would definitely go here again when we come back.

The front desk staff was very warm, and welcoming. They were patient and helpful, taking the time to explain to me how the "soak" works and where I was supposed to go, etc.. Shout out to Andrea for helping me with a friendly, warm smile. A young man brought around cups with mineral waters to some of us soaking in the tubs. The place was beautiful, peaceful and I left feeling like a million bucks! I would definitely recommend it and will inquire if I can get gift certificates to give to people. What a great gift idea.

Let me just say that I have changed my opinion of this place. After a horrible experience with them I was asked to come back & give them another chance. Im glad I did bc I cannot wait to go again when theres snow on the mountains and get to see a view Ive never seen before (Im from the south). This pace really cares about their customers when theyre happy or unhappy and take care of you in the end. Definitely a great place to relax and have a nice afternoon with friends and loved ones.

Way overpriced for soaking. You raised your prices again and did it in May right before tourist season started....GREEDY! Your staff seems annoyed, yoga is boring and the tubs are cold. The decor is nice and I like the infrared sauna even though there is a guy who opens the door every 15 minutes to tell you, you need to sign a waiver even we told him we did. Sorry but for this price, I think you guys are lacking in some areas....

Super awesome spa to go relax and get in touch with ones self. Its got a very holistic (hippy) vibe, but its great for all types of folkes. Massages are incredible, but pricey. If you want to save some cash, go for a 2-hr soak in their many mineral tubs and get your sweat on in the sauna. Theyve got military discount, local Manitou Springs discounts, and Colorado resident discounts. Dont skip this place if youre in the area!

More of a yoga studio than spa. Soaks are on the pricey side but they have a good assortment of varying temperatures in the public tubs. Beautiful mountain views and small areas to lay out. Small shower and changing room. Same mineral water used here as the 7 Springs fountain right across the street. Highly recommend the private soak if youre willing to pay a bit more (for 2+ people); tucked away above the spa under a tarp.

A friend and I recently attended an Aqua yoga class here and it was a great experience. The facility is beautiful and peaceful, and made us feel like we were having a spoiled spa experience the whole time we were there. My only complaint was in leading up to the class I got a lot of misinformation from the ladies at the front desk about the schedule and registration for the class so perhaps they are training a new staff.
