I have gone back three times to try to get the color of my hair right. I went to one of the stylists when she was still at the beauty school. Now Im thinking that the only reason I liked the color then was because she had someone coaching her on what color to use. When I went to her at the salon, she colored my hair a completely different color than what she did the first time, even though I asked her to "do what she did last time." The owner did offer to have her fix the color for me free of charge (which she should considering I didnt get what I asked for) and she coached the stylist on what to do. It was better, but it still was not the color that I had originally asked for. I thought I would try one more time for her to fix the color. She said I would need to have full highlights to correct it. I didnt think I should have to pay for a service that was more expensive to fix the incorrect color that she initially put on my hair, but thought it would be worth it have it finally corrected. My hair turned out 3 shades lighter than before! I finally went back to one of the stylists who has been there for a long time and she corrected the color for me. I am out lots of money and time and this has been the worst ordeal I have ever had at a salon.

Had a coupon to try the salon. Loved the fact that it is an Aveda salon as hair care coloring is damaging enough. I went in for a cut, highlights and color to hide my very determined gray. The person that worked on my hair obviously was a recent graduate as she consulted with the owner on the color a few times. The colorist didnt leave the color in long enough. When she went to rinse she told me there was still some gray and I had to sit in the very uncomfortable wash chair. OK, she said she would be back in 10 min but came back in 2 and rinsed. It was getting near to closing time and she still had to cut and style my hair. I thought all was done until I came home and both my kids and my husband remarked my gray was still showing. Sure enough my roots still had lots of gray. Not good considering the price I paid. The salon is nice, clean and I do like the fact each stylist seemed to have their own room. They seem to charge a flat fee for services but this shouldnt be done especially with a newbie that is trying to work on very difficult gray. I did call the salon and they offered to fix it but with young kids it is often hard to find time to come in.

A few days ago, I went in for a hair extension consultation and it was the worst experience and service ever! The experience started off unorganized- there wasnt a staff assigned to work with me. The lady at the front desk ended up working with me and was confused because she hadnt been trained on extensions. She consulted another hairdresser (Stacy) for support. Stacey didnt greet me, rudely placed the extension on my head, and might as well had treated me like a mannequin. I felt the service as rushed, unorganized, and extremely unprofessional. I purchased the extension since I really needed it and they promised a "complimentary trim" to have the extension flow with my natural hair when I come back to pick up the extensions. Today, I called in to see if it arrived and they had "forgotten" to call me. I go in and I didnt receive this complimentary trim. Im disappointed with how theyre running their business. I wont be ever coming back here for any service.

As a new client of this salon, I was very impressed. I called last minute and they got me in the next day which was great. Mackenzie had the task of taking my blonde up a few notches and she recommended a new highlight product which worked so much better on my hair. She knew exactly how to trim my hair for growing it out long and the color was gorgeous. I got wows from everyone! If you are a blonde addict like me, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Mackenzie, she is fantastic.

I walked into this Salon with no appointment, and they worked me into the schedule without any hesitation. Rita who did my hair was very attentive to my hair care needs and interested in me personally. She knew exactly what I was looking for even though I had a hard time expressing what I was looking for. The whole experience was amazing and I will only be going to Rita and this salon from now on!!!

I love this salon!! The ambiance is so relaxing - its a beautiful salon. The stylists are friendly and efficient and always take time at the beginning of my appointment to really understand what I would like done. They are always willing to demonstrate for me techniques for styling my hair. I will definitely be going back.

Awesome service!!!!! I am so glad I found this salon, by total accident, and they have been awesome. Amy was great, she did a fantastic job on my haircut, the salon was very friendly, getting an appointment was a breeze, and the whole experience was just above and beyond. I would totally recommend this salon to anyone!

Dropped my teenager off for an appointment expecting a professional experience for her. They didnt wash her hair or even get it wet. They gave her bangs when she didnt ask for them and the cut looks uneven, choppy and horrible. Prom is next weekend and she was horrified. We need to go elsewhere to get it fixed.

Went in today to get my daughters haircut and was so pleased with the friendliness and work that was done. She wanted a bob and the girl actually gave her a really cute bob, instead of just a boring blunt cut bob you see on a lot of kids. I cant remember her name, but she has long dark hair. Thank you!

Went in for a blow dry and specifically said I wanted a round brush blow dry. My hair is short. Was charged $45!!! Thats the price of a haircut, blowdry and style at Aveda Altitude salon! Not satisfied with the blow dry either, she ran the round brush through my hair twice. Never going back.

Best highlights Ive ever had!! Stacy was able to turn my partially gray hair into the most beautiful looking "natural" blonde hair, I felt as if I were 18 again!!! Highly recommend!!!
