Brought a truck here for someone wanting to buy it, they wanted an inspection done.. And I am glad I have been around vehicles my entire life because the "mechanics" here claimed that ball joints were shot and needed replaced immediately. I asked how much they moved, and the technician i spoke with said they moved "a lot" and then yelled across the shop to another guy and asked if they moved a lot... very vague answers. And I watched from the waiting room, they never touched the front tires throughout the inspection. Also stated my transmission had a very bad leak but the funny thing is it didnt leak at home parked in the driveway, on the trailer I hauled it to these guys on, or home when i pulled off the trailer and put it in the driveway. Checked fluid when i got home and it was full. Just to be sure, I took it to 3 different mechanics the next day, and there are no leaks and it doesnt need ball joints. Fluids were also changed 500 miles ago and they stated the fluids needed changed immediately, so I laughed at the guy, loaded it up, and got out of there. This is a business not a mechanic and I hope customers have some mechanical sense about vehicles before they take their stuff here, rip off. On top of all that, the front desk guy is very disrespectful and unprofessional. Will be telling everyone to avoid every single meineke "mechanic" I talk to from here on out.

So heres the update on my last review. I called back after my car broke down on me again after they supposedly "fixed" it. Got a free tow to the shop where they told me they had to send it up to colorado springs to fix the issue. They gave me a rental which was gonna cost extra if it was a mess, except it was already a mess when i got it. Food littered the seats it was in desperate need for a car wash and and interior wipe down. Eventually, it was another 500 for another motor. The motors werent working (as we thought they wouldnt for 500) so then it was "send another 500 for a better motor or you can pay 1500 more for one of our cars, a Ford focus with a lot of hail damage (even though blue book said itd be the same price if the car was in better condition) or we send your money back for a new car. But they needed the rental back right away regardless so i was out of a car until i could get a new one. They got to keep my car. Needless to say, meineke is completely out of my range of people to go to when my car needs to be worked on.

The man at the front desk was incredibly rude and condescending. When I asked calmly how long the wait was he said that I need to be patient, even though it was the middle of a weekday and there were only 2 other people in the waiting room. He also lied to me trying to convince me to pay $200 for a transmission oil flush. He said transmission oil needs to be changed with every oil change, which simple isnt true. I googled it in the waiting room and approached him about simply doing a transmission oil change and he asked me if I had just called my dad to ask his advice. Very, very rude! After I declined to sign up for the e-mail newsletter at the end, he was very pushy insisting that I didnt "understand what all it includes." He proceeded to list everything that is regularly included in such newsletters. He was not helpful or respectful like Im sure Meineke wants their associates to be, I really wish I could remember his name.

Okay no here is my problem. I dropped my car off for diagnostics which I was told was free. I wasnt told its only free if they fix it. THEN I left my car for FOUR days. I was told itd be done the next day at 11, i ended up being late for work that day because the first problem they diagnosed was not the problem. I was quoted on a price that seemed to keep getting steeper because they didnt know the problem. Finally, I go to pick it up and the problem that I have been having (my engine running crappy) wasnt even fixed. So I payed 550 dollars for everything BUT my problem to be solved. Not only that, but when I got into my car, my knob for my air was missing too, so Im stuck with a shittier car now than when I left it. I am NEVER going to meineke ever again because of this.

Not really happy that it took over 30 mins to change our oil. It shouldnt take that long and the front desk manager went out and was just bsing with the techs... Leaning up on the front of our car. But before all of that they tried to tell us that the tranny fluid was bad. I know what tranny fluid looks like, what they showed me was just engine oil. I dont like people trying to pull one over on me cuz me and my hubby are young. If we hadnt been knowledgeable it would have been another $200 to flush the tranny. Stop trying to upsell and bs people, its shoddy business practices and disrespectful to your customers. I dont need you to check over everything in my car to see what else you can try to sell me. I came for an oil change and thats all.

This is the second time I have came Meineke and really feel like they care about their customers. As a woman, I feel as though most mechanics take advantage of my lack of knowledge about the mechanics of my vehicle. At Meineke, they explain everything so I understand what my car needs as well as not pressuring me into any decisions. I really appreciate Chris and his team! Also, Chris, the Store Manager, made sure that if I had any problems, I can bring my car back and have them take a look, which I did, and his team again explained everything to me and made me feel as though I can come back any time. Even if some of my concerns are fixed with just some air in my tires :) Thank you Chris and the Pueblo Meineke team!

Bad services, lied to about what was going to be done to my vehicle, my alignment has been off still since the day I picked it up, they said they would call me after the machine got fixed, after telling me they did the alignment before I originally left! Was supposed to include my shocks on the repair work, and then when I picked up my vehicle, the manager told me they didnt change them because it wasnt a safety issue, but also they never did a brake test, which I told them I needed brake work looked at, they took off one side, which was the opposite side I told them had the issue, I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone, over paid and didnt even get the proper repairs, and got back yard service!

We went in to fix the ball bareings and water pump so we left it overnight. When they pulled some wires they broke it, replaced them then charged for it without our knowledge. Then when we went to pick it up it wouldnt start and said the fuel filter needed to be replaced so we left it overnight again. Then the fuel pump needed to be replaced and they were about to replace it again without our knowledge. And the funny thing is that we took it to get it looked at by another shop before Meineke and they said the only thing that needed to be changed was the water pump and ball bareings... Trust me dont ever go here.
