Im surprised. Pleasantly surprised. The air conditioning in my car hasnt worked for about a year now. I did the climate control swap myself, and the system tried so very hard to work, but just couldnt get started. A buddy from work recommended this place, and if it wasnt for that.. after seeing the side of town its on I probably would have skipped it. Dont do that. Dont make that mistake. Rudy was our mechanic today, and upon entering the humble store-front he was all smiles and positive attitude. I felt comfortable handing over my insurance and my keys. He even offered to drop us at a rental place in case I needed a vehicle for the duration of the repair! Turns out, it wasnt even necessary. Rudy took my fiance and I home, and called me every couple of hours with an update on the progress of the fix. Though there were a couple bumps in the road to determining the problem, Rudy was honest with me, upfront about the price, and I have no doubt he was being truthful about the nature of the repair. Im not a car mechanic myself, but I do understand enough to get by. It was a fix I probably could have done myself, but this place was fair on the price, and excellent with the workmanship. I was even reassured that any repair I needed would have the price discussed with me before any work was done. The last time I had to have a repair done, they scratched and scuffed my dash. I was a little concerned coming here. Not this place. They cleaned my dash and took care of my vehicle. When it was time for pickup Rudy picked me up in my car and drove me back to the shop, telling me the entire way what was done and reassuring me that everything else in my vehicle was fine. I will never take my car to another mechanic after this. Rudy is the only one Ill ever see. The fix took less than 5 hours, and I got to wait at home in comfort instead of crunched into the corner of a waiting room. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle to them.

REGRET COMING TO THIS PLACE!!!! My car was overheating. I was told the problem was a broken fuse (which cost $1 to replace). I was charged a total of $135 (This cost included $85 to run a computer scan, $40 for antifreeze, $1 for the fuse & taxes). I dropped my car off on Tuesday picked it up on Friday,JUST TO FIND OUT MY CAR WAS STILL OVERHEATING. I took my car back that same day and received it back the following Monday. When I picked up my car I was told that they did not know what was causing my car to overheat that it could be multiple things. I took my car to another mechanic shop the following Tuesday. Again a computer scan was completed.Turns out the thermostat needed to be changed. (Diagnosis, labor, plus the part cost me a total of $80). The problem was fixed in 1 day. SO TO RECAP I SPENT $135 TO FIX A $1 FUSE, DIDNT GET MY ISSUE RESOLVED, AND THEY HAD MY CAR FOR 6 DAYS. IM NOT SURE WHY THE THERMOSTAT DIDNT PICK UP ON THE COMPUTER SCAN SUPER TECHS CAR CLINIC RAN, BUT ULTIMATELY THAT WAS THE ISSUE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE. I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY WERE A GREAT SHOP; HOWEVER MY EXPERIENCE WAS FAR FROM THAT!

Just got home from the best mechanic experience Ive ever had. Brought my car in after it died on the way home and expected a outrageous bill because my car is foreign. Ended up needing a new alternator and battery... and though it was expensive I was very surprised with how fair they were. An employee called me before every single step they took with details on what they were doing and why to make sure I wanted to go ahead with the repairs. Once I came in to pick up my car I found that they had gone above and beyond. Part of my gear shift had popped off months ago and one of the men repaired it without being asked, AND they turned off the alert on my dash that said I hadnt changed my oil(which I had previously asked TWO other places in Lubbock to do and neither of them did), again after not being asked to do so. While in the office they respectfully answered all the annoying questions I had and they even agreed to inspect my car right then and there when I asked them where I could get it done. If you need any work done on your vehicle Id call this car clinic first-- and ask for Rudy or Allen!

I took in my vehicle for a computer scan because my vehicle was having trouble taking off and kind of sounded like back fire issues and when I called them at lunchtime[ my vehicle was kept overnight] they said they hadnt started on it and about 1:30 they called and said was ready and it ran fine but I could still hear the backfire but anyways they said computer scan showed every thing was fine so when my husband had time for it he found the pcv valve on the rocker arm had to be replaced and the coil and now it runs like brand new..i will not take my vehicles back oh and they charged me 102. and change for nothing and a can of carb spray for the throttle and when I asked about another issue it could be he said thats all we can do..VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER WHO WILL NOT RETURN.

I brought my Chrysler Concorde there. I was very satisfied with their services. I asked them to test my engine (pressure test), do tune up on my engine, do my regular oil change (oil filter, oil change + BG additive, engine oil cleaning), lube vehicle and tire check. They did good job for reasonable price. They were very friendly and they told me all of the details what and why did they do. They did not want me to buy extra services they told the facts and possibilities and it was up to me what service did I want. I think this is the best place I have ever been in Lubbock, TX. I am sure I will keep going back there for regular maintenance or in case something needs to be repaired.

Took my car here and paid over 200 dollars to have my car returned with missing parts from my engine like the manifold and the big plastic thing to keep my filter coverd. Their excuse when i called them was oh well we didnt think you needed those parts since you where surrendering your car, we will put them back if we still have those parts. They didnt even put a new filter or spark plugs in my car like i paid them to.

My car has had issues at least five separate times this year. After my first visit, Rudy remembered my name and was always very accommodating and his service very fast! He even kept a part I purchased for weeks because I was too busy (read: lazy) to take the time to get it installed. All repair prices seem crazy to me but his service and performance makes me feel like Im getting a good deal.

Great service. I called ahead and they told me to come down to see if they could fit in mounting my front plate and I was in and out in a literal 5 minutes. Id recommend these guys to anyone who want an honest mechanic whose not gonna try to sell you every repair that you dont really need and fix what you need to fixed at a pretty low price.
