WARNING; I Took my running car over there because they said they could reprogram the computer but when I took the car there the manager then said, we have to call the guy over to do the job, truth was that they never had the means to repair the car in the first place, they tricked me into bringing the car over to their shop. I left the car for the simple procedure and before I got home my wife tells me the shop called and said you need a new engine. I ran back to the shop and they had my car on a lift! I never gave them permission to inspect any mechanical part of my car, it was running when I took it there.Then as I Was told by one of their employees "Hes going to charge you double the cost when the work is done by an outside repair service.

Had them work on my FORD 2004 e_250. Lived within 10 miles of them, the tow was reasonable 50$. My issue was its a service truck and they had it for 3days, and when it was all said and done the original quote was not correct for replacement of a fuel pump. They told me I also needed a new tank. It runs good, besides some damage that had occurred to the side door. No admittance after I brought it to their attention.

Kenny and his crew are absolutely great. I have been in there for everything from an oil change to getting my axles done, passing my emission test, ball joints, etc.. etc.. They have continued to provide me with excellent, honest service, at the fairest prices I have been quoted anywhere. I no longer live in Chicago but still make the drive to Grace Auto for any repairs.

Great service and highly recommended. Granted it was just a minor repair on my tire, but they fixed it up in no time and charged me next to nothing, and I actually ended up tipping them because I wanted to pay more. The owner (I guess his name is Kenny?) was very friendly and very up front. Im looking forward to future visits with more serious repairs.

Kenny was awesome, I am so glad I found this dude. He is solid. I tried to do some brake work myself (before I found Kenny), and of course I messed it up. Kenny was able to take a look and fixed it promptly, and he did not rake me over the coals when it came time to pay. I will not being going any where else as long as I live in the city!!!

The crew at Grace Auto Repair really make sure to be honest and helpful. I switched to them from another mechanic and will not look back. They are welcoming and accomodating. I have taken my car there for repairs and for a new car appraisal. They have helped me avoid unnecesary repairs and avoided buying a Lemon! Love these guys!

Bar none the best experience I have ever had at an auto repair facility. They are honest, have great rates, get the job done quick, and dont hassle you about uneeded work. Even the repair work on my more involved German car was no sweat for them. I will be back anytime I need work done, and would recommend them to anyone.

Paid $150 for a tune up and three months later a mechanic at the dealer showed me the inept work: the old wiring and gaskets had not been replaced at all-- they were all as old as the car! The only new part Grace put in the car was spark plugs. I wont be going back to them.

This place sucks, I have taken my VW there for over four years and my car still cannot pass the emission test, the manager says "bring it in and I will fix it no charge," but later I end up paying for something. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

They didnt call us when the work was done and when we showed up, they lost the key and had to wait an hour and a half for a spare to be delivered. Very unprofessional and over priced.

This place is great. Fast repair and honest. They didnt try to sell me every repair possible or make me feel stupid or scare me into extra and costly work. Couldnt recommend more!
