Beware the owner is a complete lunatic. I went to Sadie (an employee) 3 different times for hair, I went to a girl who did my nails (she quit as well as another employee within my few visits) and I then went to the owner (Darnel) to do my nails. The last time I went to see Sadie their salon had been broken into. I watched Darnel ream their camera company to no end as customers, including myself, were in the salon. All morning I watched them frantically call glass and door shops to get the repair done to their broken door. As they had no luck I called multiple people trying to help them out. No one had the time to do it but my dad offered to board the door and they made a deal for him to fix the door. Keep in mind I had left before he had ever arrived. After numerous doors and trips I guess my dad had said screw it. Instead of Darnel taking this issue up with him she started calling and texting me. I, not knowing he details at that point, tried to reach out to my dad to track down the door or her money or what had happened between the two. I tried doing the right thing for her. Darnel then started texting saying that he was on drugs and literally cursing at me. Still not hearing from my dad yet I was just like screw it Ill write you the $300 check so that she would leave me alone. Well no that was not good enough. She continually texted me cursing at me and even had her daughter (a nail tech there) start texting my friend who introduced me to the salon. She also said that it was $525 that she needed back. After all of that she insisted on our information so that she could take us to court and started threatening me and trying to hold me accountable for a deal made when I was not present nor had no part of. I didnt get a penny out of this deal or anything. I was literally just trying to help the woman out. Wont make that mistake ever again. If she talked to anyone the way she did to me I wouldnt blame a single soul for bailing on her. She literally has something wrong with her. She isnt stable thats for sure. After talking with some other people and my dad. Everyone came to the conclusion that she wanted a $1000+ job for $300. All the other contractors said that if he had boarded the door up and brought a door to install and that it wasnt good enough that thats her $300 job right there. They had said if she had wanted a specific door that she should have stated so, so that he could have made a higher bid or so she could have got the door that she wanted and he could have just installed it. Either way she was super unprofessional. There was no need to attack me or involve my friend. Especially when we were just clients. Avoid this shop like the plague before something similar happens to you. #nogooddeedgoesunpunished

Will never go back here, Ive been a customer for a year now and I come in to get manicures. Since then Ive seen almost every nail tech in here because ill find someone I like who ends up leaving and when I find someone new I like they are never free. A while ago I made an appointment to get my nails done with one of the more popular ladies . The past two appointments Ive made Ive been pushed off to ladies who arent even licensed to be doing nails and dont know how to paint properly. Also I dont go in every two weeks (I go in once a month) like everyone claims you should because hell I dont need to get me nails done that often. So the last appointment I had I called to ask why I was being pushed to someone I didnt schedule with at the last minute. The response I got was appalling "well you dont come in often enough for her (the more popular nail tech) to take you and she doesnt take new clients, besides youve seen other people anyways". Ive worked in customer service and never would that be ok to say that to someone. No matter how frequent a customer comes in they are no more/no less important (*take note of that ladies this is what good customer service means) because your pretty much saying im not good enough to be seen by this girl, even though thats not exactly what you said thats what was implied. Well too bad so sad I wont be coming back. Im getting married soon and was considering bringing my whole wedding party here for salon treatment. But since im not good enough to be seen by your nail team im sure im not good enough for your hairstylists either.

I had a HORRIBLE experience at Rock Star Nails!!! WILL NEVER RETURN AND DON’T RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!! I came in for a lash extension and Darnel was not only late to my appointment but she spent 80% of the time on the phone while I was having my lashes applied. It so incredibly unprofessional! I noticed that instead of gluing the extensions to my individual lash she took several of my lashes and glued an extension to the cluster. Not only was it pain full when they grew out, it also caused large gaps in my lashes. I had to pay to have a REAL lash professional remove them. After my original appointment I set up a fill appointment for 2 weeks later. A day before my appointment I received 5 calls and 5 voice messages from the salon wanting me to change the time of my appointment. I am a working professional and was in meetings all day and could not return the call until I left the office. The last message they left me was to cancel my appointment because I quote “You apparently don’t want to return my call to rescheduled so I canceled your appointment” this was left at 4:00! Not even the end of a work day!!!! I have been getting lash extensions for several years and have never had such an unprofessional experience!

Took my little sister here to get her nails done for prom. No quoted price on nails but the total was tripple the amount of the prices online. Nail artist started 30min late and half way through the owner came over and told her to hurry up because her next client was there. Had shown picture of what desired but is nothing like it. She cut the nail super short without even asking and were VERY thick. Worst of all they hurt so bad and started peeling that night! Was so excited about this place and got reccomendations from hair stylist of designs to do and he the one who helped us pick out the picture to have her do saying she was really good at it. The decor and ambiance is super cute inside so I really wanted to root for this place but had such a nightmare of an experience. After 5 hours of being there I myself also had my hair ruined, burned and also over priced. YIKES!

I went in today to have my nails done for engagement photos. Simple white tips. I went because I saw they had great reviews. The atmosphere was great and the salon was beautiful and full of friendly people...however im pretty disappointed with my nails. The tips were cut to different lengths. .. really bad on my ring finger =( the acrylic is cured to my skin on my ring finger also. The top coat doesnt wrap to the front of the tip and the acrylic is fairly uneven at the edge. And then immidiatly upon leaving I saw how many bubbles were in the top coat. This will be extremely obvious in our photos because the bubbles will reflect so much light in close ups of my hand. The lady was very friendly and I still tipped her for her time but it wouldnt be honest if I said I was satisfied with the work done.
