I don’t usually take the time to review online, but I have to comment on my recent experience at Blondie’s. As a twenty-something on a budget, I view hair cuts/color as an imperative investment—BLONDIES WAS WORTH EVERY CENT! Ive tried other salons in Denver and Boulder—after seeing Gina Martinez, I will never go elsewhere. Gina took the time to listen to what I was looking for and gave me a cut that was exactly what I needed. The color is perfect, the cut superb--and all were tailored to fit my lifestyle and hair type. (Too many times I’ve gotten a cut that looks great leaving the salon, but looks terrible when styled at home.) It’s been two weeks—I love the style just as much today as I did walking out of the salon. Blown out, curly or air-dried—I’VE NEVER RECEIVED THIS MANY COMPLIMENTS ON A HAIRSTYLE! Yes, the salon and stylists are busy, but whats that old saying? "If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it." The popularity and devout clientele should be taken testament to the skills and services of the staff, and not viewed as a deterrent. GINA IS A TRUE ARTIST (this is widely recognized by clients and staff alike), and her passion for the art and for people is palpable. There is no higher praise I can give; I can’t wait to go back!

I recently had my hair done by the wonderful Gina Martinez at Blondies Beauty Shop. This was the best experience I have ever had at a salon. Everyone is very professional and friendly. It is a very unique experience from the time you walk in to the end. Gina is truly an artist with her color and hairstyling. She takes her time consulting on what you want and then she gives her input and expertise. Ginas assistant Erika is going to be a great hair stylist as she learns the tricks of the trade from the best, Gina. She does a wonderful shampoo and blow out, making me feel like I am ready for the cat walk! ;) I also really love how healthy my hair feels after my deep conditioning treatment. Everyone that I see walk out of Blondies looks amazing, these girls have got it goin on!

Blondies is a top notch, trendy, hip and busy salon. They train their stylists to be assistants first under the veterans before they turn them loose. This expertise sets them apart along with their very artistic trend setting staff. Blondies is a one stop shop from hair color to waxing, from facials to eyelashes, from spray tans to selling top of the line products and everything in between. If they are responsible for something you dont like, then go to the owners or the management and they will make sure it is made right. Ok..trendy salon, yes. Thats about all you get for your money! Sylists are not friendly. Its all about the money! They schedule clients too close together to bring in more MONEY, and you end up there for 4-5 hours!!! Ridiculous! On top of that- Because you are there for 4-5 hours, your hair is over processed/fried, and toner is put on to cover the damage, and then they want to sell you special treatments to fix their mistakes!!! So bad! I have been to two stylists, one being an owner, and I have been there 6-7 times before finding a great stylist elsewhere. If you have low expectations, want to spend a chunk of money, and enjoy sitting in a salon for 4-5 hours...this is the place for you. Enter at your own risk!

I LOVE MY STYLIST who just moved to this salon. Id never go to anyone else and with this kind of service I just may pay her to come to my house like my mother did back in the day... But the salon is like crazy buzy and the customer service is awful. And they didnt bother to schedule my next appointment when I checked out nor could they be bothered to do so. When I tried to call for the several weeks following, I couldnt get through on the phone. I cant leave a message for them to call me because I work at a medical practice and I have even less availability to take phone calls then they do! I have sick patients to take care of! Theyre a bit more needy than bad hair! Get a receptionist at these prices!

I have been seeing Gina Martinez at Blondies for over ten years. She is by far the most talented and creative hair stylist that I have ever known. She spends a lot of time at each appointment making sure that she understands how I want my color and cut to look and never makes assumptions. She is truly an artist - putting different colors in my hair to achieve just the right mix to make me look my best. Additionally, Gina is always learning new techniques and provides educational opportunities to the stylists working at Blondies. I highly recommend Gina Martinez and Blondies to anyone looking for the best for their hair!

I agree it is expensive, but it is worth every cent. I have been to many different salons all over Denver and in Cherry Creek and Blondies is by far the very BEST. I have been going to Gina and Cameron mostly and they have amazing talent with color and cut. I have been to other stylists in the salon and watched as their clients leave and they are all beautiful. I would not even think of going anywhere else. I have recommended friends and they have loved the salon as well. You will be treated like royalty and feel like a new fabulous, refreshed person when you leave. Highly recommend!!!!

I have been a client of Ginas for about 10 years, and I have had the pleasure of sitting in the chairs of many of the stylists at Blondies on occasion. While I have a very long history with the salon, I am always treated as if I am a new client, not someone who can be brushed aside due to familiarity. I always feel welcomed, appreciated, and valued - a part of this incredible family of talented and highly-educated stylists. I sincerely cherish my decade-long association with Blondies, and I ALWAYS leave the salon with knock-it-out-of-the-park hair!

This place may cut hair well, but the owners are rude, drunk AND incompetent...they never keep employees long, especially in their low grade spa.. one of the owners, an older lady named Gina, cuts hair drunk as a skunk off the free champagne they give to customers and talks down to her employees. They over charge for services, add on services without telling clients, especially the stylish Gwen does this, and the rest of the staff is mediocre AT BEST!!! DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had in a salon. All the girls are great and Gina the owner is AMAZING! No one else in the world is allowed to touch my hair she has magic hands. I am bi-racial so it is really hard to find a stylist who knows how to do my hair without making it too greasy or too dry or cutting off to much when its straight to where its extremely short when it curls up (which is how I normally wear it.) The energy is great and rubs off on you. Love them!
