Terrible experience. Would NOT recommend. I brought my car in to be fixed and received one call from Joel, the owner, telling me he didnt know what the problem was. I explained briefly that it felt like an issue Id had before. He hung up to continue to investigate. Next call was to say the car was ready and that it would be nearly $400. No call to tell me what the issue was, or to ask permission to move forward...just the assumption that doing a service that expensive without my permission was what I wanted. Oh and on top of this, the work they did didnt fix the problem. I had to drive all the way home (was visiting CT) and get my mechanic to do the work that would solve the problem. In an effort to get me out of the shop when I voiced concern about work being done without authorization or any type of communication with me, Joel offered to undo everything and put my old parts back in...knowing this was not an option for me as I was from out of town, his shop was closed all weekend and that I had to be back home on Monday. WrenchRite still refuses to remedy the situation. His only attempt was an offer to pay for the work that Id had done by MY mechanic when I returned home...THAT work was a mere fraction of the price that I paid for what Joel did... work that didnt solve the problem and that he was never authorized to do. STAY AWAY!

I purchased a 2005 Forester from Joel in 2/2016. Im a car guy and I have to tell you this purchase was of the best experiences Ive ever had buying or having a car repaired. I saw the vehicle on his lot late on a Thursday night and texted Joel that night. He responded almost immediately, we talked quite a bit about the car via text and I went to see the car the next morning. The car was exactly as he described at a very fair price. I asked him about some of the common maintenance items with Subaru and he told me he would perform them before I purchased. I picked the car up on a Sunday morning. All the work was done just as Joel had promised. I came away with a quality used car from a trustworthy guy who you can tell takes pride in his work, and knows Subarus inside and out.

Very pleased with the service. My 2009 Subaru forester had an oil leak near the cylinder head. I feared the worst and thought I needed a head gasket... at least thats what consensus was according to the stuff I read on the web. So I was especially pleased when Joel, the owner, told me that it was only a valve cover gasket leak, a simple and inexpensive fix. That was my first experience with Wrenchrite. After that , brought in my wifes Subaru legacy in for a brake issue. It was repaired quickly and at much less cost that the subaru dealer. I would recommend this subaru service to anyone.

Great guy, great service and great prices. When I was installing the trailer hitch on my 2003 Subaru Forester the muffler snapped at the flange with the mid pipe and I didnt have the tools to fix it (no welder) - I brought it to WrenchRite and he had it back on there good as new in about 30 minutes. He also explained to me a problem with my oil filter ring seal which I had not noticed and explained how to fix it. Some shops would just do it and slap it on the bill but instead he was very professional and gave me the heads up so I could do it myself.
