Had issues with my transmission in my Highlander, so i decided to take it to my trusty local Hartford Toyota dealer.And why not, they are a certified Toyota dealer after all? Well i was in for a rude,and costly awakening.After diagnosing the problem,they suggested several options for repair.After steering me in the more costly and unnecessary option,and not solving the problem,i decided it was time to see the real pros at Talcott Transmission.I only wish i had gone there sooner.Excellent service "straight shooters"no bull.

The guys at Talcott are extremely nice and friendly, and were able to inspect my car almost right away. They were able to adjust my break light sensor on the spot, and inspected my breaks at my convenience. They recommended services based on my needs, and did not suggest unnecessary fixes, flushes, addons, etc like some other auto shops do. I had an overall great experience with Talcott, and would highly recommend them, and will use them again for future auto needs.

You could have easily convinced me that the transmission had to be rebuilt or replaced, but you suggested an alternative that not only worked but saved me money. Very honest business, my rear diff and front driveline were taken apart within 2 hours of my truck getting towed there. I needed my truck back asap and Ken made it happen. They know what theyre doing and dont take adavandage of customers like many other shops do!! Highly recommend.

Rebuilt the 4l60e transmission in my Roadmaster wagon. 20,000+ miles later tranny is still good as new. They also repaired a leak in the transfer case of my 2500 4x4 pick up after a season of plowing and thousands of miles still no leak. A shop with integrity. Highly recommend.
