At first I thought Midas was a reputable place to take you vehicle for service and the staff seamed very nice. I later learned this is not the case. My most recent experience was when I called (3) different locations and was given (3) different prices for an oil change with the exact same service. One was for $39.95 the second for $55.00 and the third for $65.00. When I inquired about the coupon *OC1372USWEB* I was told it was not honored in any of these locations and when asked why prices varied so broadly, I was told, "I dont have an answer to that question. My worst experience is when I was charged $350.00 for a battery change in which I was told was the reason my car was having difficulty starting due to bad cells in the battery. Well it still didnt start after this so called new battery was installed. I later found out another $500 later from the dealership that same day that it was a sensor in the key, not the battery. I called Midas so I can pick up the so called bad battery, this all in the same day, with in a few hours, but they didnt have the battery. When I made a little noise, they gave me my money back in full. Still not battery, car ran like a charm thereafter. What got me hooked the first time.....I pulled in asking for an air pump to check my tires, they where nice enough to check the tires for me. I thought "wow, how nice of them". Point is, Midas is extremely inconsistent. After speaking to locals, I found out that one mans grandmother got ripped off blind. Thank God he got involved and got her money back after threatening to sue. Many others warned me that it is the worst place to take your car. Something always goes wrong shortly after. I wish these guys would get investigated.

The people are great and have good customers skills. However, time and time again I have had nothing but problems with the entire brake system since Midas replaced my front pads. Sure, the pads are lifetime guaranteed, but the problems with the low quality materials they use are quite expensive on subsequent repairs. They are a complete rip off on the labor charges as well - What you save on pads, they double with their high labor rates. Dont fall for the lifetime guaranteed on pads - They will get you on everything else with the knowledge that you will be inclined to go back for the free brake pads.

The best place to service your car. The staff at Canton Midas have great experience and knowledge of cars. They have a courteous front desk and the personnel are phenomenal. Great waiting area with tons of magazines. You can drop off your vehicle and do shopping at nearby canton mall and they will call you on the dot. The staff explains the problems in detail and you feel you have gained knowledge about your vehicle. Rating on a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being worst and 5 being the best. Second time weve had our car serviced here (oil change). 30 minutes wait time turned into over an hour wait time, both visits. Dont come here unless you have time to waste.
