Finally a pleasant experience with a plumbing company! I called about a sudden leaking copper pipe in my cellar. The (hot water) was pouring out onto the floor. A service person answered my call and patiently explained to me where the main shut off could be found so I could stop the flow. They were at my house within 2 hrs and fixed the problem quickly. I considered the final bill to be reasonable and felt I had beed treated like family. Thanks again!

Wow. Called to get an estimate on a small project. Guy wouldnt tell me much about charges and after a couple of minutes told me that they were "pretty busy with commercial work so were probably not the plumber youre looking for." Apparently they dont need the business so dont waste your time calling.

I remember my parents using this company when I was a young girl.Now that I am married and we own our own home we also use A-1 as our only plumber. They seem to be a very honest and friendly company to do business with and we have been satisfied with the jobs we have hired them to do.

I called A-1 because our kitchen sink was leaking underneath.The serviceman was here within 2 hours.He explained some options of fixing it and we chose to repair all the pipes,as the house was 52 years old.The serviceman was experienced and friendly and we would call again.

Given a quote on the phone, (approximate), and when he came to do the job, would have cost twice as much! That happens, but the second plumber we called quoted much less. (less than the estimated quote) Get a quote first, definitely.

Very rude to my wife. Overcharged for the diagnostic visit. Quoted 2X what everyone else did for the repairs. We eventually had the work done elsewhere for 1/2 the cost. Buyer beware.
