I worked for this specific location for a year. I had almost just gotten out of school and Laura gave me a shot by hiring me. Laura taught me almost everything I know about cutting hair, before I worked at Cost Cutters and met Laura and the team of stylists I was scared of cutting hair and wasnt sure if I was going to stick with this profession. They were all so patient and kind when helping me get into the swing of things and thats truely the kind of people everybody who works there is. Very kind and very patient. Im now a successful stylist and have every intention to stay in the industry, and I have everybody at Cost Cutters to thank for that. If you do choose to go to this salon and get your haircut you wont be disappointed. Laura and her staff really strive to have everybody that walks in walk out with the haircut, color or style that they want. In my entire year of working there I saw very few unsatisfied customers. So please dont let the few negatives sway your opinion of Cost Cutters.

I used to work for this salon. Needless to say I left for many reasons. The manager (Laura) is the most unprofessional, rude person I have ever met to clients and the other stylists that work there. I was told to not replace the barbercide but once and week and got a mysterious rash for 6 weeks and wouldnt go away from changing it. If you dont want mrsa or a staph infection, please dont go here !!! The owner of the salon is a slumlord who made us work in 50 degree temps in the winter because he didnt fix the heat for 2 winters. The manager is a bully and can be caught at any given moment making the clients feel uncomfortable because shes too busy bad mouthing another stylist instead of focusing on her haircuts. I am surprised the health department hasnt shut them down. Ps.. dont bring your kids here go to snip its next door.

I dont like to write negative reviews - but ever since Becky left that salon - its been nothing short of misery. Once had hair cut with shaver (?) but hair was healthy so I managed, the next time was okay and 3rd time asked for a trim to cut off some permed hair - and yes - was butchered scissor-happy. Lived in CA FL, cannot find but maybe 1 or 2 hairdressers in this whole area that really know good style precision cuts and some flexibility and open mindedness to the client and that dont cost $100 for one cut. Most are rude and stupid and should not be hairdressers.

I overlooked the previous negative reviews and took my kid for a haircut at Cost cutters in Manchester. The lady who cut my daughters hair was unfriendly, didnt show any interest in the customer, was not ready to accept my suggestions regarding the cut and finished her job in a haste. I paid $15+tip. I was not happy with her job and ended up trimming some of her hair at home!!! What a waste of time and money!!!

Discrimination against children is what I would call it happens in the salon. I went there with my sister and our two kids and the attitude of the barber changed immediately when they realized we want to give the kids a hair cut, too! We were actually advised to go next door to Snip-Its, "because they are specialized in kids haircuts"!. I mean their business is so great, they absolutely do not need anymore!

Wonderful experience...went in with my son Christopher who is 13...we both got perfect haircuts. Laura did a wonderful clipping (what hair I have!) for me and the women who cut my sons hair was very attentive to his wishes that he didnt have his front bangs cut to far over his eyes. Cant wait to go back. Plus you get a card which once you get 10 haircuts...you get a free one. How about that?

This is the WORST place you can take your children for a hair cut. The staff is totally unfriendly, and they do not want to cut childrens hair. You can see how they change their attitude once they realize the client is a child. Had the worst experience here, and this was the place I would come with my entire family in numerous occasions. Not anymore!

Horrible experience. These people dont have experience of handling long hair at all. Hair dresser called Heidi , chopped off my entire hair and kept on saying that she will give me layers but i never got to see layers. She was pulling my hair throughout and screaming. Their manager laura is also very unprofessional and rude. Never go there guys

Love this place! I had gotten my hair butchered at another salon and came here, I dont remember the stylist but she was able to fix my hair and then some! I have been to other salons and since and nothing beats them. They also have great prices, and offer a selection of styling options.

I had an appointment for 2:30. Right now its 2:52 and I am still waiting. In the meantime I got thirsty and needed water- got a very cold answer - "sorry we dont have water". I guess thats the new norm. And of course no apologies for being late.

The last time that I went to the barber it was great, there was no problem at all. I just went and got my haircut by Laura and apparently a trim to her is cutting 3 inches off and there was patches on the side of my head.
