They never ring the bell if there is a return receipt. They leave the slip and walk away. Then you have to drive there stand in line and wait. Then they scanned a package coming to me, and said it was delivered on 9/9/13 @ 2:59PM which is a SUNDAY. There is no mail on Sunday. They lost it and now they put me on hold and have not come back. Idiots.... TODAY, 4/16/15, I did not get my SWANSON VITAMIN ORDER. The tracking # says it was delivered at 10:54AM. NOPE! I never got anything, and now SWANSON is going to resend the entire $70.00 order, because the MAIL STINKS....again. The other 3 packages from AMAZON came via UPS and I got them all. WHY DOES UPS bring the packages to USPS? Why not just bring it to my house since it originated with you? Our regular mailman RETIRED....now we have "floaters". The last time this happened, I called, and suddenly, the "floater" was at my door, WITH THE PACKAGE. SO, if I did not call, he would have kept it? How can one not match a number to a number on a home? I am NOT ordering online unless UPS or FED EX brings it. I hope businesses learn how UNRELIABLE USPS MAIL IS. TERRIBLE..... F- is your grade. I received a CHRISTMAS CARD in a POST OFFICE baggie with an APOLOGY written on it because it arrived late and torn open. I just called MADISON-REED to tell them, I DID NOT GET MY ORDER even though the tracking number (handed off to USPS by FED EX) says they scanned the package on 2-13-16, I have NOTHING. Now they are reshipping it and they are by passing USPS since I told them, the post office employees cannot read and they do not know their numbers. Sorry BERNIE SANDERS, I will vote for you, but to let these morons get involved in having any banking is stupid. There should be some kind of monetary sanction on the FEDERAL POST OFFICE scanning then stealing our stuff. They already said one item from last year was found in their WAREHOUSE. Today, December 5, 2016, I open the door and there is my SOAKING WET BOX from AMAZON, passed off to these flunkies who cannot RING THE DOORBELL during a winter storm. (This is what you get with AMAZON PRIME?) The bottom fell through it was that soaked!!!!! "Delivered yesterday. Your package was left near the front door or porch." "NEAR the front door?" We have an overhang on our FRONT PORCH, but the mail-loser decided to leave it on a step where it could be soaked to death and ruined. Forget that they do not even ring the doorbell. Does that cost extra? I use to give the mailman a gift certificate to Subway or Pastrami on Rye for a Christmas thought. This year, I am giving him an envelope with a gift certificate to return to be RETRAINED in common sense. Another call to AMAZON to re-ship because they have decided to interrupt reliable UPS shipping, once it gets to your town. See how many times they did a terrible job for over $30.00 a hour?

This post office is the absolute worst! Just like other reviewers I have had the exact same issues. The mail men scan our packages, or at least they pretend to, say they deliver our stuff, and NEVER do. Our packages are constantly missing. No one knows where they are, but apparently they are being delivered. Or they are "attempted" to be delivered. One time when we were home they claimed at the same time that they tried delivering some packages. Which was a complete lie. Because no one rang or knocked on our door. No one came! I was there waiting and saw no one. I had to go there and personally threaten them to get anywhere. Only to finally have someone come to my house because I demanded that they do THEIR JOB! I talked to the post master who openly admitted that the people who work there hate their jobs and dont want to do them. Why are you hiring these people then?! Do your job and get your act together!! Since no one seems to care or wants to help I am reporting this post office to the postal regulatory commission and the usps head office. I am tired of your excuses and lies. FYI our packages are still missing. This will no longer be tolerated. I cant believe they havent fired all of you. Look at all of the terrible reviews you have. You should be ashamed.

This is the absolute WORST run P.O. in the Country, carrier service is inconsistant at BEST and NON EXISTANT at least, mail can be delivered anytime from 11:00 A.M. to after 6:00 P.M. or not at all depending on the day of the week. Having a Mail stop means nothing since temps dont even pay attention to what they are SUPPOSED to be doing and it actually took 3 tries over 3 days to get mail stopped on our last request and then it was only because I taped a yellow mail stop card inside the mailbox so that it popped up when the lid was lifted that said MAIL HAS BEEN STOPPED DO NOT DELIVER intil 3/14/2016. Once they finally got that right they couldnt find my mail and it STILL HAS NOT BEEN DELIVERED 4 days after the resume mail went into effect since they cant FIND IT !!.. This same thing happened the next 2 times I had mail stopped, Once despite putting in the request and HANDING it to my mailman then going online and doing the stop there mail was STILL DELIVERED the entire time I had the stop in. The latest Dont give A F is that I have a tracked package that shows it ARRIVED at the P.O. 2 days ago and they CANT FIND IT... I called, they said the would check into it and now 2 days later STILL NO CALL BACK or INFO...

Where is my mailman??? A few years ago we had a regular mailman who came everyday. Then they decided to redistrict us and now we do not have a regular mailman at all. From what the postman told me, we were now classified as a fill in route and whoever finished early was responsible for delivering our mail. For the past several years we have dealt with mail being delivered by a parade of different mail persons sometimes as late as 7:30 at night. In the winter when it got dark early he had to carry a flashlight. Most recently we ended up with the mailman we originally had before redistricting occurred and he stopped coming 2 weeks ago. Since he left we have had several days where no mailman came at all, yesterday was the second of those days since last week. Strange to me that my neighbor who lives behind me on the side street has a regular mailman who comes everyday and we are not considered part of his route. Their are about 12 to 15 houses on Mather street that are a part of this situation. I would like a good explanation about how this redistricting was decided because somebody needs to revisit this issue.

I have a business I tracked two packages. Left on porch?? Really we have a door that goes to the outside and a parking lot. Second package the next day, same thing. Call two days in a row am told they are both out for delivery but they dont come. Finally have to go down there and wade through the BS and then tell them I have a relationship with the postmaster for Connecticut and will be calling him. Presto the boss shows up two mins later both packages are in my hands. Two months later same two packages left by the door on Saturday, we get there Monday to two rain soaked packages. WTF is wrong with these people. They will not even pick up our mail unless they have something to deliver. This weekend I stop in at office note in mail box. You were not here, you need to come to the post office and get your packages.
