I had my brake pads replaced in May and 6 weeks later, had to have them replaced again. When they serviced my car, they did not notice that my brake caliper was locked so I wore through the brake pad on one side completely. I ended up having the real problem fixed while out of state on a road trip. Although the brake pads had a warranty, the manager refused to honor it because the brake pads themselves were not defective and because I did not go to a Meineke for service (I was out of state, went to the closest garage to my hotel, and did not expect that the brakes I had replaced so recently were the source of the problem). The manager was incredibly rude and dismissive the entire time I tried to deal with him. The brand of brake rotor that they put in my car also did not match the one listed on my paperwork which bothers me in case the part is ever recalled. I also scheduled an oil change there. Despite having an appointment for early in the morning, I did not get my car back until the end of the day and I had to call them to find out that my car was ready.

it was very bad, I call from a agency that is in the same community that this company is in. I call because I help people find work and have funds available to pay this company if we can find a person that fits there needs and mines. I asked to speak to a manager and the person said that he was one. I explain were I was calling from, and the manager was rude didnt let me finish my conversation cut me off and said they are fine, and hung up on me. I would not recommend that anyone go and get their car fix there. if a the manager can hung up on a person with out even listen first I can only wonder what would happen if I brought my car there. I will never do business with this company. how are you going to be in the community want business from the community but cant talk to the community.

Driving through New Haven, I needed my brakes to be checked before I headed back on the highway for another 10hrs, and was afraid of ending up with a $500 brake job I did not need. At this shop; Lou, 50ish very nice guy probably the owner, lifted the car and showed me how the brakes are being worn out. Though he did offer to change them but he did not BS me that it was crazy to drive without being changed. He said they still had material in them and was safe to drive my remaining 10 hrs. I really appreciated his honesty. He put the wheels back on, charged me for an hour, and I am now back home and will see my own local mechanic. Totally happy about the character..!

Im new in town, and had both a dead battery--which I suspected would require an alternator repair--and a flat tire that I couldnt physically detach from my car. Had it towed to Meinekes, and they said that the battery died only because its a new battery and I needed to be driving more frequently, and the flat was just a valve issue. They jumped it, pumped up the tires, explained their actions very straightforwardly, and the charge: $0! Their only suggestion was to get better front tires for winter driving around town, but they didnt push it. Thanks to the guys at Meineke for being efficient and professional. Ill definitely go back there again.

I had a T-Mobile Tuesday free basic oil change promotional coupon. My boyfriend went in to use it, however the woman at the desk was very rude. She didnt know about the promotion and told us it can be only used on a Tuesday when the promotional coupon does not say that. She didnt try to call corporate and find out about the correct procedure for this coupon. Instead she was so rude about it that we wont be coming back to this Mieneke location. Its a shame because this one was our go to place to get our car services done. Train your employees how to communicate as a customer service representative.

I have been to this location two times, each for a routine maintenance check type of visit. The employees are friendly and helpful with questions. Both times, my car was checked out efficiently, and they were very clear about what tune-ups were needed (and specifying what was more urgent and what could wait). I have been to other auto maintenance places in the past where I suspected that they were over-emphasizing needed repairs in order to jack up my bill - not so here. I have had only good experiences at this location and will be coming here again.

Pleasent yes- but lots of fear-mongering tactics to make you spend more money. I went in for brakes and the first estimate I get for everything is $1,600 plus- then when I ask about essentials-the bill goes down to $600. I asked what was completely necessary. I ended up paying $354- for my car to return worse! These people changed my breaks and didnt put brake fluid in. Had me breaking on air- thus having to return and driving in a dangerous situation. The manager rectified the situation but I wont be back.

ZERO STARS. This place sucks. Emissions tests dont take 45 minutes they take 5-10 minutes anywhere else. When I questioned why it was taking so long as I had the first appointment of the day this guy dropped my car off the lift threw my keys at me and kicked me out & said dont come back, then called the police when I tried to call his District manager (who also didnt care) do your self a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE. The guy was so obviously hung over or still drunk. This staff needs anger management.

They always do a thorough job. Meineke previously replaced a part in my boyfriends car. However, almost one month later, it appeared oil was leaking from the replaced part. That turned out not to be the case and Meineke replaced the part again at no cost for the part or labor. They also fixed the actual source of the leak (loose oil cap) and gave a discount for the final costs which included all new spark plugs. Rob, Chris and the whole Meineke team are the best.

Taken my 96 Dodge Ram 1500 to these guys twice and I wish Id found them sooner. Theyve always come in under estimate, even when it meant discounting their labor. First time I took it in they stayed 45 min. late to make sure to get me my truck back just because I needed it the next morning. They do fast work, good work, and they stand by it. And theyre one of the cheapest garages Ive been to in the area.

Went right in, was told how long the wait was and asked if I wanted to make an appointment to come back because it was 45 minutes for an emissions check, oil change, and tire rotation. Decided to wait it out and was out of there in under 2 hours including a air filter replacement (which I was charged no labor for). Very good pricing. Friendly service.

Jay is a real nice fellow and goes an extra mile to make sure your needs are met. I came to Meineke for a brake change. We had some miscommunication in the beginning and I felt some chagrin, but when I went in to discuss, Jay listened to my concerns and resolved them in a professional and friendly way.
