I have stored items in another facility out of state, and was pleasantly surprised to see that I can rent a space that has an outside door and was reasonable priced. In fact, it was more economical to rent from here than from my apartment complex. Having an outside door makes life so much easier than having to carry items into a building and stairs/elevator. The web site was easy to get through, and I called the customer service department who were very helpful. Customer service also called me to confirm and ask if I had any questions. The desk manager was very professional and thorough in explaining the contract and billing. They even greeted the moving truck and escorted them to my storage area using the best path for the large truck. All in all, it was a very pleasant and efficient process - which is very welcoming when you are moving from out of state!

I have used numerous storage units in the past and prior to my latest experience felt that the process was an enormous life suck. Due to these previous experiences with bad management, bad facilities and even worse policies I was very skeptical when I showed up to the Rocky Hill location. Within 5 minutes of being in the office I wanted to drive back to every location that I had used prior to tell them how a real company and employees should treat patrons. All in all this was a great experience due to the manager Sean being so helpful. My only complaint would be that it seems as if he, the manager, only lifts upper body weights which could be a little off putting to other gym rat patrons like myself.

My mom has had a unit at this location for years. The staff was always great but Jason and Charles who are the current managers at the Rocky Hill location never cease to amaze me. This time they went above and beyond and made what could have been a terrible situation for me and my family an absolute walk in the park. They knew the issue, found a solution within a day and made it easy to be handled quick and efficiently. They have no idea what this unit means to us and we thank them from the most sincerest places in our hearts. Keep up the good work and thanks again!!!!!

I had a horrible experience at this location. I have given corporate 3 chances to correct my issue. I was qouted one price, then when I paid for my unit, it has costed me over $150 more. I was told by one associate a price and agreed to pay but was told to wait until tomorrow to see if the manager could do better. Instead the manager hid in the back and made his assistant give me the bad news of the increase in price due to me waiting a day as requested by extra space storage employee. I will be filling a complaint with full details with the better business Bureau.

Charles at Extra Space Storage was extremely helpful, kind and professional when my family was in a rush to find a storage space. He was flexible with our needs and made sure we had a space that wasn’t too big or small. The unit was clean and accessible with all types of vehicles. We only needed the unit for about 2 months and were ready to close our account. Charles, again, made this easy and stress-free. I will absolutely recommend this space to any one and also will choose this facility over and over if we ever need a storage space again. Thank you!!!

I like to walk into a facility because it helps me to see if the services provided are as good impromptu as if planned or scheduled. Well, to my surprise I walked in witnessed Charles assisting a customer. I was impressed with the way he diffused both a difficult situation customer. He expressed empathy was very professionally and fair. The questions he answered for me were done in the same manner...I would definitely rent a unit at his facility when the time comes.. Awesome customer service!!!!!!

And just when you think there is no such thing as customer service anymore! These two guys were the best. I had a serious issue within my storage unit with the heavy rains. After thinking this was going to take several weeks and being jerked around like another storage facility that I had been using. Charles and Jason were the two that I dealt with and both of them went above and beyond my expectations!!! Thank you guys! Job well done.!!

I have been using Extra Space Storage for about a year and a half. The location is perfect. I live in "condo heaven" in the Middletown/Cromwell area so its very convenient to drop things off or pick things up. The staff is always nice and helpful. The facility is very well maintained and well lit at night. The price is good too! Sometimes they have referral programs where you might receive a discount if you refer a friend!

Staff is amazing at this facility, they bend over backwards to make you feel like your part of their family. Im on my second year with Extra Space Storage in Rocky Hill, and I will never go anywhere else. Manager is very nice and staff is always enthusiastic to help. Location makes my female coworkers feels safe and this is very important these days. Facility is very well lit, and security measure are outstanding.

This is a very clean, easy access facility (close to the highway). Many professionals use it for storage of work supplies, so I never get creeped out by the type of people using this location. The staff has always been courteous and helpful, no matter how many people show up at the counter at the same time. I really recommend this location over other ones in the area for this reason.

From day one, Charles was personable, accommodating and professional. He is quick to be of service i.e. I needed boxes and he explained which would be best for what. Hes a good multi tasker as well. A clean, well-run operation staffed by caring professionals. I stored my small sportscar over the winter months, and when I came to retreive it a week ago, I was faced with a dead battery. The Manager on duty stated that the facility has a set of starter cables and offered their use. I was on my way in minutes. I heartily recommend this facility.
