This was my second time using a storage facility. This is my first with Public Storage. I chose them for there prices and the size of the facility. The staff was excellent. They gave me a unit close to the entrance without me asking. A day or 2 later Ron (store manager I think) gave me a call to see how the move in went:) Last week I went back to get a second unit for my business. They were just as nice and inviting as the first time. I asked Ron if I could have a unit close to my first one and he gave me one 2 doors down! There was some snow in the way of my first unit so Ron got a chopper and 2 shovels and him and I shoveled it out in a few min. I would recommend this facility to everybody. Its a very big place with a bunch of different size units Inside and drive up access. Thank you Ron and your staff!!

I rarely write reviews but I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received at this storage facility and felt compelled to share my experience. Over the summer I rented a storage unit to store some business related equipment. Once my business opened - I took my items out of storage but forgot to cancel my storage membership. The property manger (Ron) noticed that my unit was emptied and didnt charge me for the 2 months that my space was vacant. He had every right to charge me but didnt because he felt "it wasnt the right thing to do." In life - its refreshing to encounter people with such honesty. Thanks again Ron. Youre a cool dude...

This is a large company that conducts business like a friendly small company. I maintained a medium sized unit at this facility (Southington) for several years and cannot say enough good things about the experience. Ron, Sarah & Desire treat you like a meaningful customer and do their best to help out if problems arise. Clearly the commitment comes from above as well. Their District Manager, Mike Flynn demonstrated true customer care in two situations that were entirely my fault. Its also nice to know that virtually wherever I go, there is always an orange and white logo standing if I need storage.

This is my first time renting any kind of storage unit. The price was very fair for a 10x10 unit, much more affordable than the other companies I looked at. On move in day, I went down to the office to set everything up. I was met by Sara who was very welcoming and kind. She walked me over to the unit, showed me how the locks worked, and gave me some great tips on protecting what Im storing. She answered all my questions and was very thorough. I havent even moved anything in yet and Im super impressed. Great price, value, and customer service! Keep up the good work!

The place is kind of a dump. Signed up for a large unit, and theyve increased the price 3 times in a year and a half. Monthly charge increased over 50%, must be owned by the makers of Epi-pen. Someone caused paint spill all over outside of my unit, the drives are terrible, old and musty. Only went their for price, which they immediately increased several times. Dont fall for their on-line and teaser rates, they just up your fee and they force you to buy expensive insurance. Call into prop mgr or customer service, and they dont care. Will take business elsewhere.

My experience with staff members Ron and Sarah was always pleasant. I found the facilities to be very clean and easily accessible for my needs although I only used it for a few months.. My only complaint in the cost of the rental was in the additional charge for insurance each month. II would think that Public Storage would be responsible for the general safety and protection of the materials in storage and that the insurance fee would then not be added . Overall, a great experience.

I rented from Ron and he made the process quick and easy. I felt comfortable and found the storage facility to be clean and well maintained. I was renting during a time when my life was in turmoil, but having the comfort of knowing my belongings was in a good, safe place made it better. I would recommend public storage to everyone. Sarah was very informative, pleasant and accommodating while clearly explaining the details that matter in the contract terms. The facilities are clean and organized. Direct & easy access from I-84. Well lit and well-plowed roadways were very helpful to me when loading /unloading at night in the winter. Pricing is reasonable but dont forget about the $11/mo (min) insurance plan you need through PS. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.

Ron and Ray were very nice and professional. This was my first time ever renting a storage unit. I got a great price online. They showed me the unit and walked me through the entire process. The site is clean, but dated. It is very hot upstairs so be sure not to store anything that can melt (i.e. candles or photos).
