I purchased a new key from the Ford dealer for a 2005 F-150. I brought the original and the replacement in to have it cut. They told me they cant cut the key because I didnt buy it from them. Isnt that what a locksmith is supposed to do? Of course she then offered to sell me a key which they would cut. I went down the street to Barnum Hardware and had it cut without issue.
