I have been a member of this health club since they opened in mid December . The layout is wide open and there is plenty of space so you do not feel congested while your working out . This particular health club has more cardio then I have ever seen in any other health club that I have been a member of . The treamills are always available and you are not pressed for time . I usually run for about 45 min and never wait to get on any piece of cardio . They also have arm bicycles which is similiar to an upright bike but instead of pedaling with your feet you use your arms . Wow talk about a good upper body workout . I have alot of trouble tightening my arms and this type of cardio seems to be doing the trick . I also enjoy the classes there as well . I mainly do bootcamp or the step aerobics class . The instructors there are very knowledgeable and friendly . The cleanliness of the club has been the same since it opened . The only thing I wish is that they were opened up a little bit earlier on the weekends . I can say however they are opened till 11 pm during the week so when I work late I can still get a quick run in . Parking is never a problem they have a really huge lot and no matter how far you park your still within footsteps of the door . The equipment is top notch brand new . They have multiples of everything and different styles for each body part . I really enjoy some of the new cable machines that allow you to get many different range of motions when your doing reps . The staff there are super helpful and whenever I bring a guest they always roll out the red carpet . Most important this is a goal oriented facility that actually cares if your getting results ! They offer free body fat analysis on a daily basis and Im always watching my weight and monitoring my results and they make it easy . I have joined many gyms in my lifetime and being a Trumbull resident for the past 15 years I have to say LA FITNESS Trumbull is the last stop . The atomsphere of the club is also nice and members are very considerate and wipe down machines and also rack their weights!!!! Yea I couldnt believe it myself being that the last gym I was at weights were all over the floor and paper towels everywhere! Disgusting . If you are shopping around and want the most bang for your buck check out this gym they even offer a free trial online ! Happy happy happy !

Today was a very disappointing day here at LA FITNESS. I was invited by my bestfriend to come and work out at the gym since I was planning on soon switching membership. At first everything seemed very impressive the sauna room, the pool, plenty of machines. One of your sales representatives Timothy, was very polite and very knowledgeable regarding my questions on sign up fees & monthly payments. He gave me a 5 day pass which I wasnt going to use because by the look of the place I was already 100% convinced that this was the right gym for me. Things changed when closing time came. After my work out, i waited for my friend carlos whom was in the locker room. After that we spoke for abit regarding the gym and my experience. Suddenly when we were ready to part ways I realized.. darn.. I left my keys in the gym. I rushed back inside and locate my keys. Literally took me less than 2 minutes for me to find them and walk back to the front door. Suddenly I see the woman who was on the counter when I walked in screaming and yelling how I & my friend were trespassing. She didnt let us explain the situation and continued to say she didnt care and how she was going to call the police. I felt very offended by the way she handled the situation. I tried to apologize and she continued to say shed revoke my membership. In my head I thought.. hmm its my first day here and this is the treatment I get? Honestly the place looks real nice. However your representative isnt.

This gym was 5 stars until tonight. The front desk employee harrased and insulted me and threatened to revoke my membership because my friend and I went back in to look for his keys after 10:00pm which was closing time. She accused me of "trespassing".. trespassing?.. also called us criminals. She had no need to insult or threaten to revoke my membership. Ive been a member since the 4th month of grand opening, longer than shes ever been a member or worked for this facility. During my entire membership there was even a whole year that went by when I paid la fitness faithfully $29monthly without me even stepping a foot in the location. Im not sure how I will feel now coming in and having to see her face or deal with her poor attitude. I might have to switch gyms unless something is done regarding this issue. Revoke my membership or keep her working at this location and I will make sure the entire CT hears about what happened. I will also make sure all my friends that enrolled at this club thanks to me referring them here cancel their memberships as well. Completely angered by this event. I never sit here and write something this long but I am so livid that I just had to write this!!! Management NEEDS new staff!!!! * Send her to planet fitness or the edge with her poor customer service skills, she doesnt deserve to work for la fitness.

This place is a joke they sell daily memberships for a day for $15.00 glad we all pay monthly joke. People sneak in the front & rear doors. I went there to play basketball no supervision and it was like a gang riot in there they assaulted one of the players while I was there. why be a member when anyone can come in for less. The management is clueless and could care less I felt like I was in the BRONX the way they treat people they steal from the lockers and break into your car as well. Great asset to Trumbull get a clue how about some customer service what goes on the basketball court is amazing. After they assaulted the person the guy ran out the door do you have cameras anywhere.

this is by far the best gym around. la fitness has plenty of clean weights and machines. the spin class is very fun and is also a great workout. the basketball court is amazing and there are always alot of games to hop into. the whole place is very clean including the locker rooms. the best part of la fitness is the staff. i constantly see the staff members trying to help people out. i recommend everyone to join here because the variety of weights they have are great and its very clean which is a big pro

Love the place, very beautiful, just cant stand some of the staff members. They are so rude & so un-professional! One staff member actually sat in my face & lied to me. Another staff memeber who is also a manager hung up in my face after havin me on hold for almost 20min. Please dont try to hussel people out of their money Just because you are tryin to make a certain quota by the end of the year...hmmm just sayin!!!
