I have never had such bad service I have lived here for a short time. And have had better mail service in my last two towns I lived in. Never had the issues I have here the people here who deliver the mail. Do not check to see if your home they just assume your not and leave a note at you door. Even though you tell them the door bells never worked here and you need to go around back when you need to deliver something that might require you to leave a note .While the whole time your sitting in you living room waiting for the mail to show up. They do not read the mail boxes they just put the mail in the box so I am always finding mail that should not be in my box. Then when you call to complain they claim the person is new. How many times do they need to change the mail person in your area? I would rate this mail service as the worse there is.

If I could rate a zero, I would, and it would be way to generous. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Paid for Priority Mail 1 day, sent a regular letter from Groton, CT to Waterbury on a Thursday, to be delivered on Saturday to a business that was open with almost 50 employees at the location. The letter went out for delivery, it was raining, so Im sure the lazy postal carrier didnt want to do their job, the letter was returned, and now its missing. If you dont like your job, quit, and do the world a favor. This post office has got to be one of THE worst. Tried getting through to a supervisor and was cut off.

When I used to live in Waterbury I would purposefully travel an extract 20-30 mins to NOT deal with this office. At one point I went to mail a package and we greeting with "Do you even live in this city?" To which I replied for 3 years. The woman then called me a liar and told me to use my local post office. I had to show her my drivers license for her to even agree with me. Thank god I moved far away from this place . They disrespect you and they never get the mail sorted correctly. Big revamp needed on this place.

Worst service. customer service slow.. Called at 8:10 in the morning, and stil on hold at 8:40. I have found mail on the ground at my house, mail that goes to other addresses, and some that doesnt even belong on our street. I think that if you have a pulse you got the job. But I will say that there are some that are dedicated to their jobs.. I can only speak of the service at my residence..

there are some good postal workers there but not all of them. a few rotten ones are just not worth their paychecks. some are great and leave my pkgs by my door and I get them every time but then whoever is on that shift insists are writing those damn notices where you have to drive all the way down there, wait in a forever line to get your packages.

The employees look and act like zombies when theyre not being rude. Although the managers are very nice and helpful. Plan to be in line for way more then 10 mins. On top of rude..the employees have 3 speeds: slow, slower and stopped.

They never check if Im home to delivery my envelope that Im waiting. They right on the pink paper and drop in my mailbox so they dont have to get out of the car! Unacceptable!!!
