Absolutely terrible mail carriers. They are careless and dont take responsibility when they lose packages. They put my package in someone someone elses mailbox recently even though tracking said it was delivered at or in my mailbox it never was. I got a reshipment from the company, now apparently theyve left a notice for a delivery attempt...I never recieved a notice. Sad, they get paid so good and we entrust these idiots with our personal info,documents, and packages yet you have to micromanage them to ensure youre receiving all your mail. Im so over dealing ng with this post office seriously their policies and staff need to be investigated for competency and literacy . Any other city Ive lived in I never had this issue. Good ol Waterbury smh

I recently moved out of the hellhole called Waterbury. I put a request in to forward my mail to my new address. I have only received a few pieces. All mail addressed to Waterbury is disappearing. The mailman who delivered our mail would be seen at the bottom of my street at 6:30 -7:00 PM reading a magazine. Looking for overtime? We would not get mail for days. Then our box would be so full it was nearly impossible to get the mail out. And I can not get anybody on the phone. Please shut this office down. The people of Waterbury would be better served using a different location than this one.

Anything in WATERBURY has ratchet people working. (not all but most 98% sounds about right) They are lazy, sloppy, slow, etc... There is however 1-2 workers who do their jobs correctly and love doing it. BUT AGAIN MOSTYLY ANYTHING IN WATERBURY IS HALFASS (goverment job, mcdonalds, super markets, etc...)

Ive had to call the wigwam ave location twice in the last 2months regarding my packages not being delivered on the expected day and both times the rep hung up on me without letting me finish the call or saying good bye. The supervisor should hold a training on how to answer the phone. Just rude!

Very slow due to one clerk usually working the counter. Significant wait time... These businesses must realize our time is precious too and should hire more staff to accommodate their customers. The clerk(s) though are very nice no matter what postal office I visit and thats a real plus.

this is the worst post office in my opinion..rude and lazyyy..been waiting for a important package they say they came and buzz the door but they dont they just dont care and then you have to go there and get your package because they so lazy cant even knock on door or buzz !

Very rude over the phone lazy took day off to receive package and the carrier didnt even bother to knock or ring bell just left a note in the mailbox now they telling me I have to wait till next day.I work do your jobscant take two days drim work for usps laziness

They were helpful and polite to me. They answered my question and I really really like my carrier. She is wonderful. Its too bad postal worker do not get the recognition they deserve, especially the nice, hard working ones.
