Update 6/2017. I am not pleased with this service. I will call them when they open today. My "clean" this week was not the best. The policy that you will have one person the same every clean seems to have been eliminated. Also, the rotation that was "living room" the people who come to the house now call "dusting". Every clean is a toss up. My last one in May was outstanding. This week 1 person had been here before and every thing she did was done with care. The other person doing the "dusting" does know the meaning of the word. When I pointed out numerous items not dusted she told me she was "new" and another time "Ive never been to your house before". After pointing out a low, glass shelf not dusted she told me thats something Id usually use a feather duster on but you said you dont want a feather duster used! I explained that doesnt mean I dont want it dusted. Last, I have 2 bedroom nightstands that for some reason dont get dusted. Ive even had supervisors come back who dust them & say theyll put a note on my clean file. Original post: We are very happy with this service. I especially like that at lest one person is the same every clean. Shes usually the one who does the "rotation" clean and makes sure it is done properly. If it werent for these rotations and the lead persons attention to detail, we wouldnt be as happy with service. If there is ever anything that we are not completely satisfied with, after a call to tell them, its done perfectly every time afterwards. I love that the house doesnt smell like chemicals afterwards.

The Cleaning Authority (TCA) has been cleaning my home for almost two years now. I can not express how grateful I am to them. They help me immensely by cleaning my house every other week. I like to think that I am a typical man, where cleaning is not my specialty. I specialize in computers. TCA specializes in cleaning homes. It took me years of trying to stay on top of something I simply am not good at to realize that my time is much better spent doing what I am good at and letting them do what they are good at. My girl-friend would clean for me, but that is not how I wanted us to spend our weekends. TCA cleans my house from top to bottom is less than two hours. There is always at least two representatives, but sometimes they will send three. The customer service is superb. They are punctual and very much accommodating. I highly recommend them!

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a cleaning service. The only thing more appalling than the poor quality of cleaning and damaged household item is the customer service. The owners are rude and unapologetic and dont stand by the business philosophies outlined on their website. Do not expect them to clean everything they tell you they will clean (see other similar reviews), dont expect them to send out a team to finish the job at no extra cost as indicated on their website, dont expect for things they disassemble to be reassembled, dont expect them to report any damage they cause or offer an associated discount. What you can expect is a headache. Terrible people, terrible service.

We have never kept a cleaning company so long. We looked for months to years and went through nearly all the local companies until we came across this gem. We have had the same crew leader for the last 4 years and appreciate the stability that comes with that. Our children look forward to seeing the crew before they go off to school. They are friendly, capable and do a good job cleaning. They help organize our things so the house always looks refreshing when we come home. I also like the lack of cleaning odors. In the rare occasion when something has been broken, they have reported it and reimbursed promptly for it. We are very pleased and have no desire to change anytime soon.

The first few times they cleaned our house it was very nice. After a few cleanings there were some keepsake items that were broken and not reported. About one month later they used our home computer without permission. I called the company and emailed the computer history to the manager and there was no follow up. A few weeks later my daughters allowance wallet was taken. I will never let them into our home again.

Team 4, Nicole, Sharress & Alexis are good, trustworthy ladies and we like to see them show up at the door at their regular time. They also clean another family members house. The Cleaning Authority is very accommodating whenever we need a change in the schedule such as an extra cleaning or skipping a cleaning due to vacation, etc. I work from home and they are always polite and courteous during their time here.

I would recommend the newark branch of the cleaning authority. I have been using this company for over 15 years. I have also met the cleaning crew at various times. They are professional and courteous. The office staff has always been helpful and returns calls promptly if necessary. They have always been flexible and accommodating with my schedule and any changes I needed to make.

Gave them a real chance. They only do surface cleaning, no attention to detail. I watched them come into my property and leave within one hour. I have a three story house. It is impossible to clean my house properly in one hour or less with two people. We had to tell them to vacuum mats, they never lifted and vacuumed under anything. Very poor service. I do not recommend them.

We have had other cleaning services in the past that were horrible (Forever Clean was the worst ever) but for the past three years The Cleaning Authority of Newark has consistently done an OUTSTANDING job for reasonable pricing. We are completely happy with them and our cleaning group, Team 14 is EXCELLENT! I have recommended them to friends and family without hesitation.

The worst ever !! They only clean as promised the first few times and after that expect a very lousy job and you cant even complain!! the owner is extremely rude and doesnt care about his customers or even the reputation of his business !! I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone !! Its waste of money !

While every place has issues, and not every customer can be pleased by the same results, the Cleaning Authority of Newark, DE goes above and beyond to make it right. Greg, the owner, is a proud businessman and really cares about his customers.
