Got my hair done for the first time at an Ulta Salon today. The stylist (Elizabeth) did a wonderful job and got my color (came in with terrible brassy bleached ombré gone wrong) exactly how I wanted with a beautiful sangria shade in the Redken Chromatic dye. She got it on the first try and did not have to use any additional toner/bleach/products etc. She was very professional and knowledgeable about hair color and what would work best with my hair type. I definitely recommend her esp if ur going in for a color service! I will happily return once my color fades for a touch up by her. As for the overall store - usually a long line at check out, but they have a lot of employees working at the registers especially on weekends so it goes by faster. Most employees seem educated in making proper beauty product recommendations. Great experience overall, I usually stop in here at least once a month especially when they have good deals going on - it seems like something good is always on sale here :)

I went to here a week ago with a friend who assured me that Ulta had an excellent salon and was less expensive than other salons in the area. Not only was Ulta more expensive than my normal salon, but the colorist ruined my hair. She dyed the top portion, my roots, a bright orange and the bottom portion, the rest of my hair, a reddish brown. It was obvious when she washed it out that she had made a mistake, so she tried to dye it a uniform color. I wouldnt be upset-- Ive had colorists dye my hair darker than I wanted before-- but the fix only worked for a week. And she charged me for the extra color. So now I have to go and pay $150 to get the bad dye job fixed and hope it doesnt ruin my hair, which Ive been growing out for the past year. Not only will I never go here again, but I will never recommend this salon to anyone. Ever.

Just went to this Ulta for the first time. Went to purchase my Urban Decay eye primer. The cost on the sign was 12.00 , however it rang up for 20.00. I informed the sales associate of the error & her reply, "you must have the wrong item." She didnt even walk the 20 feet to see if there was an error on THEIR part. I walked over to the display to confirm the price & a woman followed me. I made reference to the sign stating my product was 12.00 then she said to me, "Ok, already! Ill change the price!" I look at her like she was crazy! Then I asked, "is she the store manager???" The answer..."yes." My answer to Ulta, get some real customer service, in the mean time, later, im going back to Nordstrom and Sephora!!! First and last time Ill support this store.

Visited this store for the first time today. When I checked out, the cashier DANIELLE, forcibly insisted I sign up for the loyalty program. When I replied, "No thank you, I like my privacy" she called me "silly" and told me "I made no sense" with an attitude. I am so disappointed Ulta hired someone that is insulting customers and so unprofessional. I am sure many customers benefit from the loyalty program. However, I should not be insulted for exercising MY RIGHT TO PRIVACY. By not receiving the coupons the store actually profits more off every purchase I make, but I am the one insulted, how does this make sense?

Very long line and never saw a Manager get involved to help out. Great service from person who eventually waited on me when it was my turn but POOR reflection upon Store Management for not keeping any eye on the Flow of the Store. Every time Ive been to SEPHORA in the Mall, I always see every Employee communicating with each other on walker talkie system. If the Manager was in the back then that means Low Level employees have been made afraid to ask for help out front because there is a line of people or they werent trained to ask for help. Either way it falls right back on Poor Management.

Came in a few weeks ago for a haircut and some highlights. I go to Ulta to buy makeup, but it was my first time using them for my hair. I LOVE my new hair and had an amazing experience there! My stylists name was Mary and she was so professional and fun to be around. It felt like the time just flew by. The other staff around were also very friendly and attentive. Mary had a few ideas for my hair and I absolutely love how it came out. I got so many compliments the week it was done and I will definitely be a long time client of Ulta and Mary!

Store never has any products in stock. I have been trying to purchase the same lipgloss for the past 3 months. Every time I go in they are out of stock & dont expect an associate to help unless you ask. In my most recent visit I wanted this certain lipgloss & a tarte concealer. I found someone to check their stock & I was informed both products would be shipped to their store the next day. Thank god I called prior to driving 45 minutes because neither product was delivered despite the fact that I was promised it would be there.

The past 3 times Ive went to the christiana Ulta Ive had nothing but horrible customer service!!! Today not one girl asked if I need help. Then when I go to check out...3 girls are just standing there. So a girl from the other side of the store saw so she came to check me out and then started gossiping and just handed me my bag when I was done...like thanks you have a nice day too! Im about to boycott that store!

I have been getting my hair done at the salon since it opened and you could not ask for a better experience. I always book with Mary but the other stylists are also wonderful! Mary takes the time to really listen to what I want and if I am not sure what I want she is extremely helpful and honest in trying to come up with a new concept for me. I really trust her expertise which is huge for me!

I had the worst experience yesterday, i went in there trying to look for powder foundation , so i asked an employee to help me , she was so rude she kept walking & just said i need to take care of another customer . I waited 10 minutes she kept talking to the people who were coming in but never went back to help me , i just left & im never coming back this store has the worst service ever....

I had a wonderful experience at salon. Jacyln was awesome with her work. I have never felt so good with a hair styling before. She did talk to her colleague while styling but unlike others so did not stop styling to talk. She have work more priority and I appreciate that. My hair feels silky soft and bouncy. Thank you so much for the awesome work.

Worst customer service ever. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. In the shelf offered promotions that at the time of payment were not respected. If you forgot to remove the poster with the promotion, you should keep the offer anyway. Thats misleading advertising. I prefer to shop at Target or Sephora where the customer is worth.
