Very RUDE staff and management!! The owner acted like a PRICK to me today when I didnt ultimately choose to have designs put on a full set of nails ($15 charge - not bad...& he was giving me a discount, which he claimed). But the woman who worked on my nails spoke in a condescending (semi-huffy/snooty tone of voice...while in the Asain language - Im not going to assume what language she spoke out of respect for their culture). She did so whenever I failed to fully "relax my fingers" ... which is hard to do when you have a huffy/pissy woman rolling her eyes at you & speaking in a sarcastic tone to her on-looking co-worker every time you make the slightest movement!!! *She is missing a finger tip on one hand.* So I opted not to get the extra service & leave when it was done (NOT RELAXING AT ALL!). When the owner asked why I wasnt getting the extra designs, I politely said that I liked the base color on the set and thanked him. Once my nails dried, he called out, "youre done" (in a dry tone of voice) in front of his other customers. When I politely asked if everything was covered in the gift certificate that was given to me for the salon, he said (in a loud HUFFY tone), "all $40 is covered...but not the tip." I tossed $5 for the RUDE woman who worked on my nails and then left. HORRIBLE STAFF....and really POOR quality nails! They scuffed as soon as I walked out the door & through my annoyance, I noticed that they came out looking like thick talons more than professionally-styled nails!! I happily TOLD OFF the owner over the phone (since I had more tact than he...& chose to "speak MY mind" in a semi-private way, rather than do so in front of the audience that were his other clients). I told him that he is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and so is HIS STAFF. No, I wont be returning :).

I went into Lily Nail Salon last summer while I was in town. I was shocked at how rude and condescending the man working in the shop was. I got over it and simply said that I would never go there again. The reason that I am now writing this review is because my mother told me she had went in to get her nails done and this same man was EXTREMELY rude to her! That does not fly with me. If you want a nice manicure or pedicure experience go somewhere else. If you want to be scolded, belittled, condescended, and/or otherwise spoken to in an unprofessional and inappropriate manner go to Lily.

I have had pedicures there and although I prefer when the wife does it, the husband did a decent job. When you pick a color, make sure its fresh because they add thinner to the bottle if its too thick and that makes the layers take too long to dry. Prices are average. Shop is very clean. I find them to be as friendly as necessary. Actually the husband has a good sense of humor. They work hard. Although not relevant, their children are delightful. The oldest is a hard worker and its lovely to see a young adolescent serious about her tasks.

I was there on August 19, 2010...My experience was similar to the other two reviews. Where the kids are left to watch each other in a small room the whole time. They only spoke in a foreign language, and aside from that, he cut my cuticles too far and I was bleeding. Later, I saw that the nail clipper he was using had rust on it...I will not be revisiting this salon!

Not the nail salon they used to be. The wife is still very nice, but the husband was super rude which is crazy becasuse they look like they dont get much business anymore. My mom insisted we go here even though my normal is only a few miles away. We just got quick manicures and they were average but with so many nail salons in the area dont bother with this one.

Have the lady do your nails! I love how my nails turn out when she does them but her husband is another story. He has cut my cuticles also and makes the whole process very painful. The lady is very nice and takes her time but finishes her job quickly.

very clean and efficient. had pedicures and waxing done. all services left me very satisfied and with time to spare. very friendly. the one in bechtelsville has a little girl pedicure chair. so cute!
