I came across Now Hair Studio when looking for a salon online that would be close to my wedding venue in Scranton, PA. I called several months ago to reserve my self and my bridal party to get our hair done for the day of the wedding. The salon required a credit card and info to reserve the reservations. I provided them with the card my fiancé and I share and am using to save for our wedding. They assured me I would not be charged anything, but it was only to hold the reservations and people would be paying for themselves the day of the wedding. This past week we were charged close to 240$ on our mutual account from a make up company out of New York. We spent the entire week trying to find out if my identity was stolen, contacting the bank and contacting the make up company to find out what had happened. We found out, from the make up company, who had placed the order - they also said this company attempted to use two other cards that were declined – and mine finally went through – the name on the order was the owner of this Salon - FRAN KAVULICH. And the shipping address was the 132 Adams Avenue – the NOW HAIR STUDIO. I called the salon to confirm they received the make up order that I was told they ordered– which they did for their own business needs – and I informed them the owner needed to call me back due to fraud charges to my account from that make up they purchased. The owner called me back within a minute and claimed it was a mistake and my card information was mixed up in her desk drawer with her own business credit card. – This is just pure example of irresponsibility – and poor business ownership. No business should EVER get their customer’s credit card mixed up with their own, plus – you should be checking your own account for your own business supplies that you ordered. – I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone – and to top it off – a few weeks ago I had gone in for my wedding day hair trial and brought pictures of what I would like to have done. The head bridal stylist I was given totally ignored all ideas I had and created his own style on my hair and it looked horrible. He wasted all of the time during my appointment on that style and was never able to put my hair in the style I wanted and brought in pictures for. I paid 50 + dollars for a style I hated, and he never got a chance to put my hair the way I wished because his next appointment came in. There are other salons close to this one that will take their time to listen to what you want and wont use your credit information and charge hundreds of dollars for their own business needs – HORRIBLE EXERIENCE and a FRAUD BUSINESS!!!

Not happy at all with my experience here.. After showing a picture of my color and being very specific I left with something that looked nothing like it… Which was completely washed out a week later leaving me with 3 different colors all throughout my hair, my shirt was ruined with hair dye on the back and it was left all over my cheeks and forehead. I went back to get it fixed expecting not to be charged because the service given to me was very poor. I was charged again and it was still not even close to what the picture looked like. 2 weeks later my hair is still bleeding an unusual amount in the shower, 3 towels are ruined and my hair is a completely different color! Also, the second time there was hair dye splattered all over my $200 dollar purse. Although the salon was very clean and looked great I was not happy with the service at all.

I generally dont write reviews, but I felt compelled to share what a FABULOUS salon Now Hair Studio is. I have been going there for four years and each and every time I walk through the door, Im welcomed with smiling faces and open arms. The staff is top notch! Everyone takes their job VERY seriously and takes the time to educate themselves on new hair trends through continuing education courses in NYC, etc. Trust me when I say this is the place to go if you want the latest look (at the most competitive price). This is all coming from a girl whose been living in New York City for eight years. Erica also did my hair for my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and wedding—it was the BEST decision I ever made! Thanks to her, I have the most beautiful wedding photographs. Shes absolutely amazing, and so is her staff!

Erica is fabulous! This salon is the most professional and customer oriented salon I have ever been to. The place is beautiful and very clean, and upon arrival you are immediately welcomed and offered a hot beverage. They are very professional in the way they conduct business with their customers, and are more than willing to fix something if it isnt exactly what you wanted. Even after one minor incident of not fully loving my hair cut, Erica and her staff fixed the issue at no charge and were courteous and professional when handling the problem. I will always return back to this salon. On a side note, the value for the cost is unreal. Best prices and quality around!

The salon is clean and gives the appearance of being upscale. My experience was very bad. I set up an appointment for a consultation to see if they know how to cut my curly hair.They assured me they can. Well they cant. They DESTROYED my hair.. It will take two years to grow out. I have to invest time and several hundreds of dollars. to restore my hair. They were dishonest about their ability, and inconsiderate about the damage done to my hair. all they could realistically do was to offer my money back. ( Thanks 3 more hundred and I can buy extensions...I wont have them put it there though)

I recently moved here from Pittsburgh where I had a stylist that was fabulous and reasonably priced. I shopped around the local salons and could not find anyone that I felt Id go back to. Additionally, the prices at other nice salons were outrageous! I found now and got Erica to cut my hair. Shes fantastic! I have now been back several times and every time I am delighted with the results. She also gives the best eyebrow waxes Ive ever had. The salon is clean and tastefully decorated. Most importantly, the prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend NOW.

Although the atmosphere and staff was extremely nice and welcoming, my hair didnt have the same experience. I showed two pictures and ended up with something not even close to either. Had a rushed lowlight job that wasnt the color I wanted and a toning treatment that left my hair color exactly the same. Not happy at all with the fact that I paid quit a bit of money on a college student budget and didnt get what I wanted at all.

Having my hair done properly and with style is one of the few aspects of my life that I get a little meticulous about. Ive searched all over NEPA for two years until I found the right place to cut my curly hair and now that I moved away I still travel the hour to have my hair done by the staff at Salon a Go Go. Could not be happier with the service and results.
