My girl friend as one of my Christmas Presents subscribe to a Couples Massage at this location. She scheduled it for Saturday Jan 24th at 3:45, when she made the appointment she had asked if we could use the "Quiet Room" after the massage for some snacks and refreshments. OK....massage completed we are told the spa is closed and the quiet room not an option. When the appointment was made and UPON our arrival when we checked in, it was not made known to us that we wouldnt have use of the quiet room. They even took our bag of goodies and put it in the kitchen but never mentioned we any thing about closing at 5PM or not having use of the quiet room.( Shame on us for not checking, but still!!!!????) Now thinking that the couples massage was purchased on their website, and our appointment confirmed, that all was well and good.....Ohhhhh no, we are walking out and approached by the owner Angie and told we need to pay up for service rendered. We explained to Angie that we purchased the services on the website and had already paid. NOPE! Angie says that her Spas website doesnt have the capability to make internet purchases. A not so kind verbal exchange takes place between my girl friend and Angie, the not so kind part coming from Angie. Angie was rude, condescending, extremely arrogant, and just down right nasty. Her people skills on a scale of 1 to 10 would be at about -5. I wish her luck with the business as she will need boat loads of it if she decides to continue. She really needs to reflect on how she interacts with people. From my point of view it wasnt pretty, not to mention very, very angering to be treated as a thiefs, knowing that we werent. We definitely will not be returning to her Spa. I do want to mention that the massage was outstanding, that part of the staff were excellent, however, the owner....Not so much.

Ive always had problems with salons working on my hair - which is very fine and would not grow and the stylists Ive seen always want to cut ti "their way" not the way I wanted it. About 3 years ago I began going to Sapphire and my hair his never been healthier. Gavin has been my stylist and hes been awesome. About 6 months ago he put extensions in my hair and Ive had a few issues with them but Sapphire has always been right on top of the problems and fixed them quickly. These guys have worked miracles on my hair!! Ive also had massage which wasnt too bad as well as acrylic nails which Ive always been happy with. Also - Sapphire took care of me and my bridal party for my wedding last year and I could not have been happier with how everything turned out. Some of their services may be a bit pricier than the average salon - but you get what you pay for and I cannot complain about the quality Sapphire provides! Very happy and recommend them every opportunity I get.

I went to get a body wave, came out with tight spiral curls! I never had a perm before so I couldnt tell the difference in the processes. Guess I should have studied perms before going! For the image they portray, the woman I had was the worst Ive ever had, its was such a disappointment! and Ive had my hair done in walk in mall chain salons before! This "master stylist" burned half my hair and didnt listen to a word I said whenever I questioned something I was told not to worry and that it would relax. Even worse is the stylist next to me seemed to know she was messing up big time and didnt correct her. Im going to RejuvenEssence to have them fix it, since Sapphire refuses to do anything at all but give me a creme sample! On a good note, my friend had a great massage while I was getting my hair fried! She had the Candy Cane one, and it smelled amazing, not too oily either!

This morning my sister-in-law went to TheSapphireSalon in Pittston to get her hair cut. Obviously she thought she was going to have a wonderful experience since it is recognized as a well-established salon. Instead, she left with a haircut that was far from "wonderful." After an hour of emotional turmoil, she called ANOTHER hair salon to see if they could fit her in to fix the mess. Luckily she was able to be seen and adjustments were made by the second salon. After calling the Sapphire and asking to speak with a manager about the less than satisfying cut, she was told she would get a call back. We are still waiting. Very disappointed. Very unprofessional. Myself and my family will NEVER go there again!

Was very disappointed. I recently moved back home from a larger city. First, the girl at the check in was very short and rude and made me uncomfortable when I showed up 45 minutes early (I come in from out of town to visit family). The stylist was very sweet but bustled off without looking at my hair much and came back with the highlight color. She started the highlights a half a centimeter from the roots, so it already looks as though its several weeks old, and she didnt gear the color to my hair at all. It looks yellow-blonde and not at all natural. I wont be going here again, unfortunately.

NOT GOING BACK! My husband bought me a package here for Mothers Day. I received highlights, a massage, lunch, pedicure, and haircut. Lets just say the lunch was the best part of the day. The highlights were okay but I felt they way overcharged for the minimal foils they put in. The massage & pedicure was average. Haircut was awful - - I went home and tried to restyle it and the conclusion I came to is I just need to go get my hair re-cut by a professional. I would never ever recommend this salon to anyone. Dont waste your time and money

Im not sure all the negative hype is about but i have been going here for 8plus years now & never had a problem! Everything & everyone has always met my expectations and I have been more than satisfied with any of ny results. I usually come for massages, hair updos and cuts .. loved it! The only reason I will not give it 5 stars is because I have never gotten a mani/pedi from here so I can not ne a judge for that. I recently moved out of state when I travel home - I book an appointment. I suggest you try !
