I had a wonderful experience with the spa- had a fantastic eyebrow wax- but not so stellar time with my haircut. The stylist was running late from her previous appointment and although I kept telling her I didnt mind waiting, she moved me upstairs from the lounge (where I was happy to read magazines) to her station after she handed her other client off to someone else to finish up. Before I could sit down to talk about what I wanted, I had to ask her to clean up because the chair was disgustingly covered in hair. I could see she was trying to make up the lost time but she really shouldnt have encouraged me to sit down until she cleaned. After a very brief chart, I was quickly moved to the wash station to wait again for a person to open up- there were only two people washing hair and the stylist returned to her other client. I would have preferred waiting downstairs in the lounge than awkwardly in the wash station because, lets face, we all understand things get hectic but lets try to not make them awkward too. The shampoo experience was nice because they massage your head but the girl did end up putting more shampoo in my ear than in my hair at one point and down the back of my neck. I was able to talk through the desired cut again with the stylist before she started, which was really reassuring since Im donating my hair in two months and wanted to be sure she didnt cut too much off but did get all the dead ends- we agreed on an inch at most to be cut. The cut and style was fine, normal, nothing special. She said she only had to cut half an inch and suggested products for me, which I ended up buying, but did put on this shine product that made my hair feel greasy and gross. I was surprised at how much the cut costs when it came time to pay. I knew they were expensive but for half an inch, a 32 minute wait, and only 25 minutes with the stylist, it was a bit ridiculous. I feel foolish now for going there because I found so many dead ends on my way home (she really should have gone with the inch off instead of half) that I really just paid for someone to waste my time and wash my hair. Overall, I loved the spa experience, which is why Im giving it two stars, but the salon (haircut) portion was below average and overpriced. I dont think Ill return until they clean up the salon (it was so dirty and a complete opposite of the lovely spa downstairs), learn to schedule their clients properly, and drop their diva prices.

unprofessional staff, incredibly rude!!!! I recently purchased a living social deal for laser hair removal at this clinic and have never seen such poor customer service. On my first attempt at an appointment, I called while on my way and was informed that my appointment had been cancelled due to mechanical problems - they made no attempt to let me know this, and if I had not called to confirm I would only have found out when I arrived at the clinic. I rescheduled for the next week only to find on arrival that they had neglected to register my appointment in their calendar - once again I was unable to receive service and was met with a rude and dismissive staff that refused to admit having made a scheduling mistake. Nevertheless I rescheduled for a third attempt. I had a personal emergency while on the way to this appointment and called to let them know I was going to be late. I arrived twenty five minutes late and was told my appointment was void and that I was to be charged for the session - despite having twice mishandled my appointment in the past they showed no willingness to compromise or reschedule, and again proved rude and condescending. Even worse, after trying to explain my situation on the phone to management, they let me know that I was not welcome to return but would still be charged for my remaining appointment - in the end I never received any service at all but was charged for two sessions $99!!! Throughout they proved unprofessional and very impolite - I was hung up twice while speaking to management and was belittled and insulted by their representatives on multiple occasions. I will never again be using their services!

The second I entered Logan 14, I was met with an attentive and courteous front-desk staff who checked me in and immediately ushered me to a beautiful, tranquil client waiting room downstairs. I waited only a short amount of time (with a glass of cucumber water offered to me when I arrived), when Michaels assistant came to get me and bring me upstairs. She brushed out my hair and chatted with me while Michael finished his previous client. Michael then immediately turned his attention to me, making suggestions for my cut and asking me about my preferences. I experienced an amazing wash by Crystal, Michaels assistant, and then Michael launched right into the cut. Michael gave me tips and suggestions for styling the cut at home as he worked, and I was thrilled with the end result. I would 100% recommend Logan 14 to anyone, and look forward to visiting them again and experiencing a number of their other services!

I stopped in for a haircut. Simple Mens clipper cut. First, the pros: They served me some delicious hot tea, and the stylist gave me a great scalp massage when she shampooed my hair. The cons: horrible haircut. At $40 this is one of the most expensive cuts Ive ever gotten. She took the clippers farther up one side than the other, making it look very lopsided. She didnt seem to know what she was doing. She took some time to blow-dry my hair, then she would have to wet it again to cut it. She would slowely and carefully add texture to part of my hair, then later she would trim it, thus removing all the texture! Maybe it was my imagination? Nope, the next day two female friends of mine seperately told me that my haircut was messed up. I was in there for about an hour, and I probably could have gotten a better haircut at the Hair Cuttery. Sorry Aveda, no referrals from me.

If anyone knew what their cancellation policy was they would NEVER go here (which is probably why its not posted anywhere on their website). If you try to cancel or even reschedule within 24 hours, they will charge you 50% OF THE SERVICE you were scheduled for. No matter what. Car accident, hospital, whatever. In addition, if you buy a Living Social/Groupon and need to cancel or reschedule, they will void your entire voucher, no matter how much you paid. I spoke with two different people and they were both incredibly rude and condescending to me. I ended up calling Living Social and they refunded me the rest of my voucher I didnt use. Kudos to Living Social for showing basic kindness and understanding to their customers.

I love going to Logan 14. Michael, who has been cutting and coloring my hair, does a great job. Always very considerate, making sure that my experience is good. Have never had any complaints. I walked out of the salon today and 2 people complemented me on my hair color and cut. I have gotten a number of other services there too, and have enjoyed every one of them, from getting my nails done with Ogi or getting my eyebrows waxed with Amy. The service at the front desk is great too. So glad they text me the time and date of my appointments. Not only are they customer oriented but everything is very, very clean (one of my pet peeves when getting any type of salon service.)
