A-MA-ZING!! I researched a lot of salons and read through a lot of reviews to find PROFESSIONALS to cut and style my hair, while living in the DC area for the summer. There is a reason Michael Anthony Salon has such high reviews; because they earn them. The minute I walked into the salon to the minute I walked out, customer service was great. My stylist, Nathan, knew exactly what was going on with my hair and what needed to be done to make it look longer and healthier. It was also like he was reading my mind regarding what I wanted. He talked me through every step of the hair cut and showed me what he was doing. He explained, for my hair type, why specific methods were important to get the results I asked for. This is something I appreciated and have never experienced during a cut. He told me what products he was using in my hair and why. I left that salon feeling, and looking, FAB-U-LOUS! Almost a month later, I still look in the mirror and tell myself how much I love my cut. If you’re looking for a salon with REAL PROFESSIONAL STYLISTS, reasonable prices in the DC area, and super awesome customer service, look no further. I am also bias toward Nathan because he represented Michael Anthony Salon so well by the wonderful treatment he gave my hair! This salon just set the bar really high for my next cut after I move back to the west coast!

I have been a client of Mickeys for probably 5 years now. Hes terrific, talented and so professional. When he moved to his own salon, I was thrilled for him. His work is always impeccable - he makes my hair look great - from cut to color. He almost always has full reign to do what he thinks will look best unless there is something specific I have in mind. And today, I experienced Karinas spa pedicure. WOW! Shes wonderful, and I left feeling very relaxed and refreshed. Thanks again, for another perfectly amazing experience!

Im a relatively new client - just started about a year ago. From day one, however, I was treated like a "long time" customer. The whole staff is very friendly, the service is prompt and, most importantly, my hair cut is always great. I often bring in a picture of what kind of cut Im looking for and Mickey always delivers exactly what Im looking for. I also find that my hair hold its shape quite well over time. In all, hes a pro and the salon is first rate. I highly recommend it.

The hairdresser was nice but when i walked in no one greeted me. They were passing by for good 3 min before someone addressed me. Maybe i am used to immediate greeting but in a city with so much competition that is expected.
