I took them my daughters blue dress on 11/9/11. When the dress arrived at the cleaners it had one small discolored spot on the dress. I was not worried about that spot I just wanted the garment cleaned and I needed the dress the next day. So, when I picked up the dress it had these black marks on the front and back of the dress. I noticed the stains immediately because they were very dark and looked kinda like oil. There was an older short black or dark skinned Spanish lady there and a tall either white or Spanish man with salt and pepper type hair. Everything was cool; they were like dont worry about it we can fix that with no problem. The lady even said, I didnt think you would want to wear it like that, but I know you need it right away, but if you have the time, we can try and clean it again. I told them that I would just pick the dress up when I returned to town. Well, the following Friday, 11/18/11, I went to pick up the dress. I looked at the dress and the dark spots were still there. I asked for the Manager and was told his name was Ramon and he would be back on Monday. I left the dress with them because I didnt want them to think I did something to the dress and trying to blame them for it. I thought I was doing the right thing. The sequence of events and conversations after made me realize I made a huge mistake bringing the dress to these people!!!!! I was accused of causing the dark oil like stains on the dress, or rather they had to be on the dress when they received it because anything stains that they cause in the cleaning process they can remove. This is according to the man with the Spiked hair who did not give me his name!!!!!!! My husband went to talk to them last Friday and thats when all of a sudden "sorry" turned into basically the dress was like that when we received it. But we can give you a store credit!! WHY WOULD I WANT A CREDIT TO A PLACE THAT RUINED MY DRESS AND THEN IN A ROUND ABOUT WAY ACCUSE ME OF CAUSING THE DAMAGE? I DIDNT REALIZE THAT I HAD TO TAKE PICTURES OF MY GARMENTS BEFORE I TAKE THEM TO THE CLEANERS!!!!! BOTTOM LINE, THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!! THEY PUT A DEFECTIVE GARMENT TAG ON THE DRESS AFTER THEY RUINED IT BECAUSE IT WAS NOT THERE WHEN I ORIGINALLY WENT TO PICK IT UP. THE ONLY TAG WAS THERE WAS A SORRY TAG AND MELINDA TOLD ME THAT WAS THERE BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT FIX THE STAINS!!!!! BUT WHEN I TOLD THEM THAT, IT WAS ME WHO MISUNDERSTOOD WHAT MELINDA WAS SAYING!!!!! SO NOW IM BLIND AND STUPID!!!! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS, TAKE PICTURES OF YOUR CLOTHING BECAUSE THEY WILL BLAME ANY DEFECTS ON YOU!!!!!! Alsonia

I will be taking this issue to the Better Business Bureau and small Claims court due to the lack of professionalism and inability to contact me despite several requests. This is a matter of principle, not money. I was led to Dry Clean Super Store on 436 by a Groupon deal. Despite seeing negative reviews on Google, I decided to give them a shot. I regret taking that risk. I brought 46 pieces to this location and gave them over $120 of my hard-earned money. 3 articles of clothing were damaged, along with others not properly cleaned or pressed. I returned to this store with my damaged pieces and requested the manager, very politely. The young lady (Caucasian mid-20s to 30s) informed me no manager was available but that I could leave my items and return in a few days to see what the manager (JP) would say. Upon returning I was told "there was no way that they did the damages" and the only solution was $50 credit towards a future purchase. I inquired further about the damage and was told that next time we should just hand wash delicate items (whats the point of having a dry cleaner? The clothing was indeed delicate and the tag was marked as "dry clean only") In most dry cleaning businesses, if there was prior damage to clothing noticed by the cleaners, it is procedure to tag the clothing to alert the consumer and protect the business if they indeed did not cause the noticed damages. None of my clothing was tagged and the young lady agreed that they usually tag clothing they they find to be damaged. My 3 articles of clothing was valued easily over $200, and I politely explained that. To make things somewhat even, I requested a full refund (around $120), of which she said she would have to ask he manager JP about. I requested a phone call to update me, and I never received one. I then made another trip to the store to ask for an update since I received no phone call. The same young lady then informed me that "JP has been busy and out of town and thats why he hasnt called". Patiently and politely, I said ok and asked for him to call me, I once again left my phone number and even gave my email to see if that would be easier. Today now marks about 2 months since this occurred and Ive yet to receive a single phone call or email. I have voice recordings of each visit after the first one where my items were damaged. I will be taking this to the Better Business Bureau and also filing a suit in Small Claims Court. This isnt about the money, its about principal and lack of professionalism and customer service. Dont spend your hard-earned money here. They clearly dont value our business.

I was so absolutely frustrated with the girl at the front counter that I ended up just leaving. I dont understand why places hire people that have no idea what they are doing or what they are talking about. I brought in a designer 1960s party dress in desperate need of a cleaning. It had stains on it, and I was hoping that dry cleaning would fade it at least a little bit. I explained to the girl at the counter that this was a vintage dress, and did not have any sort of dry clean only label, but I knew that it was acetate fabric and needed special care. I also explained that I did not know what the stains were but if she thought they would at least fade a bit? The girl at the counter looked at the dress, and then started looking for a dry clean label and when she couldnt find one asked me where it was. I explained again that it was a vintage dress and a lot of vintage dresses did not have a care label. She then asked me what the stains were and how long they had been there. Again I explained that this was a vintage dress I had come across from a previous owner and that I was not sure. Acting a bit annoyed, she said that because the top was sequined I needed to sign a release form because sequins would probably come off. Okay, now I was getting frustrated inside but still maintained my cool. If a customer tells you all the information you need to know and is asking about your knowledge, why ignore everything they say and show that you know NOTHING about what you are doing? It upsets me that I am unemployed and cant find a job yet this girl has one and knows nothing about it. I said forget it and just left. Ridiculous. I found a place where the person at the front counter knew what they could do for my dress.
