I went to Westway Shell Service in May of 2011 with an A/C issue with my Jeep Wrangler. The compressor and accumulator were replaced and new freon was charged into the system. The labor and parts totaled over $1,000. Less than two years later, the compressor has stopped working and upon requesting that Westway Shell replace the part, they stated that the installed item is no longer under warranty. It was only then that I was informed that although their invoice states, “We stand behind all of our work”, they only honor part warranties and that my part warranty was only for a term of one year. I am suspicious that the part that I paid for was not brand new and that it was remanufactured as it should have lasted 8-10 years, NOT less than 2 years.

This is not Claire Satterlee, this is Kate. When I went in to have my oil changed, they found that my front brakes needed repair. So while they were working on my car they drove me to the bank to get money for the repair, and then they drove me home. They also asked me if I would need a ride back when my car was done. No one has ever done this for me and I will be going to them from now on every time I need work done on my car. They were very courteous, helpful, and prompt. It was a good experience for me. Love doing business at Manatee Shell. Carey always takes care of all my car needs. When I call to make an appointment I feel valued, as small as an oil change, new tires, or something big. Every time I called, a very rude woman answered who was clearly unimpressed that Im not already a car expert. They consistently tried to scam me into over paying for small, inexpensive things. They were unfriendly and not at all helpful. I will never return, or send friends to your buisness

The owner of this hole in the wall has a chip on his shoulder! Rude SOB! Had an issue with my truck, and he refused to look at. Confused, shop was open. Sells bait but wont tell you what works well. Save your time and money!

Starter broke replaced in a timely manner. Julie was there from 2 years prior which indicates they are a good employer. She is very customer friendly. I would recommend for repairs plus they are very proactive.

Much smaller than I expected and advertised a "live bait" but had a sign on the door "No Live Bait". Maybe they were just out during my visit and this isnt a common accurance.
