I can’t say enough good things about the folks at Luminous Electric. This past Saturday, my neighbor noticed an electrical burning smell after a lightning storm, and called the fire department. After assessing the situation, the firefighters would not let her return to the house without an electrician checking out the place. I spent hours on Saturday calling numerous electrical companies to come and help her with the problem, to no avail. When I finally contacted Luminous Electric late Saturday afternoon, the lovely Rachel arranged for her on call electrician Chad to help us. Chad (and Rachel) quickly ascertained that a power surge zapped the tv and phone (which explained the burning smell) and no further problems needed to be addressed. They never tried to push for additional services and their charges for coming out on Saturday evening (which were all detailed before they came out) were much more than fair. I can’t thank them enough for their expertise, professionalism, kindness and courteous care which allowed my neighbor to confidently return to her home. I would wholeheartedly recommend Luminous Electric.

From the time I called Luminous to the time they finished my project, I was extremely pleased with the process and results. Travis came to my house and walked around with me to discuss what I wanted to do and what I hoped to accomplish by doing it. He was full of helpful ideas and suggestions and a very personable guy. Once we had it figured out, I made a down payment and Travis said they would be back Monday (the 30th) between 8-10. They were here at 8:20 and started to work. The co-workers he brought along were a great bunch of guys, the chemistry in the crew was obvious and they tackled my job with great expertise. Travis showed me a few other things as we went along that were not up to snuff electrically with the house I bought in December, so I had him fix them while they were here which they did willingly. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing electrical work. They are great!

Saw an advertisement on TV last night, home advisor, needed a drop box put in above the island in the kitchen for an addition pendent light, we have (2) wife wanted (3). They listed 3 services, one of which was Luminous Electric, before I could shut my phone off I received a call from the owner of Luminous Electric. Discussed our situation and said he would have a tech out between 8:00 and 8:30 the next morning. Promptly at 8:00AM a lady called to advise us that a tech is in route to our home. Within 10 minutes a clean newer van arrived, and a pleasant tech named Paul introduced himself and we agreed on having the work done. Paul was polite, efficient, clean, mindful of our furniture and surroundings, and very professional. Paul completed the task at hand in a timely manor, with virtually no disruption to our normal routine. Paul also gave us estimates for future work, excellent experience.

I called for an emergency, Luminous had Chad here right away when no other company would come out on a Saturday. Chad was professional and courteous he took the time to explain to me what he was doing and let me know that my safety was also a factor for him to complete his job. Chad noted that I have an older electrical panel, I told him that I was considering replacing it but the replacement cost was prohibitive for me. Chad offered an alternative to replacing the panel at a much more reasonable cost. The company that gave me the replacement cost never offered the service that Chad recommended and actually tried to pressure me into having them schedule the job. I am so happy that he offered an alternative and I will definitely have Chad do the work on my electrical panel. I absolutely recommend Chad and Luminous Electric.

Jerry came to fix my kitchen fan. It would not turn on. He check the wall switch. He checked the voltage getting to the fan. He discovered someone had turned the switch on the unit to the middle. He then put it where it should have been. . He then proceeded to clean the fan and the blades. As you know kitchen grease is very hard to get off but he did. As I had to let him in thru the garage door, I explained that my front storm door had shut during the storm yesterday and locked me out. He worked with the door and got it open. I did not ask him to do this, he just did ad he just cleaned the fan and blades without my asking. I have used Luminous before and will do so again. The employees are courteous, helpful beyond the job. They leave your house clean and repairs dons.

We just recently added a screen room to our lanai. Paul Wright of your company came out on March 9 to install a ceiling fan and to also check the switch on one of our interior ceiling fans. Upon his arrival he discussed what he was going to do and the price. He quoted the cost of the work, of which we agreed upon, and he started the work. Paul was extremely professional, the work was completed in a timely manner and the work areas were cleaned of any debris. Paul also took the time to explain the whole-house surge protection and generators to us. He left us with an organized folder with the customer invoice and explained the warranty on the work that was done. Great job! We would have Paul back to perform work any time.

Travis & Nick came to our home to install new ceiling fans & a chandelier and ended up installing a high hat, chandelier, 2 fans and an assortment of other additions we decided on while they were here. The main item we purchased was a surge protector for the Circuit Breaker box in the garage. We had had a burst from FPL the night before when the Fire alarm went off in the house. Even though were new construction, it turned out that the builder had not installed one. We appreciated all of their recommendations and the alternate ways they provided to accomplish our goals. We just had Luminous Electric come out this afternoon to work on multiple small projects and a fan installation, and it was absolutely fantastic. The company employees are very conscientious, courteous, and professional (from the people on the phone to the technicians who come out to do the work!). When our technician, Jesse, came out to the house, he was not only excellent in his electrical service work, he also was a very nice, friendly, and honest guy. He didnt beat around the bush or try to incur extra charges for services or sell us stuff we didnt need. I highly recommend Jesse and Luminous Electric! :)

I called for the 199.00 four hour special. The tech for Dallas did an ***OUTSTANDNING*** job for trouble shooting a switch that I paid a previous electrician a $100.00 to fix, which he blamed the failure of the on light fixture. They, Dallas and Keith arrived on time, took a professional approach to respecting my house for clean up process and the installing for lights, fans, and switches. I would and will call this company for any electrical issues in the future. If you can, request the dynamic duo for Dallas and Keith. Money and time well spent for the job.... Thanks Luminous...
