So let me start by saying that for the most part, I like my hair cut and color by Sara. The cut isnt what I wanted, but its not bad so I dont have complaints about the outcome. However, the service is what will stop me from coming back. This was my 2nd visit to Sara, I wasnt impressed on the first visit by her lack of customer service, but again, I thought my haircut looked good so I figured Id give it another try. My mistake. I showed Sara a couple pictures of different colors, looking for her opinion. Her response was I dont care.. Literally, those were the words out of her mouth. I just about got out of my chair and walked out. I was looking to be educated about why one process (biolage) would be worth while for me to spend more money than highlights. When I asked her, you dont care? she stated I do this all day, I dont care which one you choose. When I get my hair done, I want someone to care. I want them to educate me, as the expert, on what they think the best option is and why its worth me to spend more. Im looking for their opinion to guide me in making a decision about a change. Not, "here is the difference in price - I dont care what you choose. At one point I even told her, Im not afraid of the price, I want to know what would be best and last longer. Throughout the color process she didnt attempt to make conversation once. Im not there to make a new BFF, but showing a small interest in the person who is sitting in your chair for 2 hours, even to just acknowledge they are there, would be appreciated. Take my review with a grain of salt. I wont be back to see Sara. Id rather have a bad hair cut and good service any day than an "I dont care" attitude when Im dishing out $130 for a cut and color. I will say that the other stylist did seem to have a lot more personality and customer service skills than Sara. They talked to me more than she did. So this review is strictly on my service with Sara, not the entire salon.

Cant even say I give it one star. Bought a groupon for a session with Sarah, even brought $40 to tip... She decides it isnt worth her time and doesnt show up. Tacky and classless. Upon arrival I realized this wasnt even a real "salon", merely a glorified home shop for women who cant be employed elsewhere. Trashy and sleazy doesnt even begin to describe the "salon" and women in there. From photos I figured the girl was good at what she did and this would be a good way to build a relationship with a new stylist. Lesson learned: if they have to put out a groupon to get business, theres a reason why.

I bought a Groupon for a spa mani/Pedi for some much needed me time. I made the appointment and arrived, excited for a little pampering. That didnt happen. First came the pedicure. The technician did an okay job on my nails but didnt completely remove callouses. There were no special foot soak used, no special cream, not even a massage. When I mentioned I was supposed to get the upgraded spa Pedi, she said I am. I asked how it differs from a regular Pedi. She said the regular pedis use a chair and bowl, and the spa upgrade is the massaging chair and jetted tub.

I had an appointment for a mani/pedi and when I arrived no one was there, the door was locked, the salon wasnt even open. Fifteen minutes after my appointment was supposed to start one of the nail techs showed up and said she didnt have the key for the salon so it would be another 30 minutes. She was not apologetic, but rather just made a bunch of excuses and was very defensive when I told her I was frustrated. I got a french tip on both my hands and toes and on top of everything my nails were already chipped less than 12 hours later.

I love Studio Red! Not only do they make you feel at home from the first day you go there, but they make sure you leave with exactly what you wanted and looking and feeling fabulous at a very reasonable price. They really listen and take the time to discuss options and suggest styles that will work with your hair type, face and your lifestyle. I get compliments on my hair all the time since I started going to Studio Red. I was referred by a friend and I have already referred friends. They love it too.

Both ladies stayed 2 hours late to do mine and my friends nails. Had no problem redeeming Groupon. Would have been affordable even without the Groupon. Super nice ladies. Did a fantastic job. Very enjoyable visit. Made us feel like family instead of clients. My friend and I enjoyed ourselves AND our nails look AMAZING. Plus our Holiday nail decor snowflake, penguin and snowmen look SO FREAKING CUTE! Will definitely go back and will most DEFINITELY recommend!!! Thank you Annie and Annies mom! :)

My son started going to Julie when he was three and had never sat through a hair cut. Studio Red has an awesome set up for kids with a car chair and a tv that is usually playing movies or cartoons. My son sat perfectly for Julie and probably got his first perfect and even hair cut by her. Awesome place for kids. I have also gotten a pedi by Kala, and have no complaints! She did an awesome job. Would definitely recommend.

Julie always greet me with a smile, Annie and Lisa are the best manicurists in town. Sara and Jo are magicians with my hair, I always leave feeling gorgeous. Thank you ladies!

Bad hair cut and foils, my hair is falling out now and it is so dry I cant even flat iron it. Worst hair cut I have ever gotten. Stay Away!
