Replacing my roof had been hanging over my head for years. Finally, I went to the bank, took out a home improvement loan and I was ready. I called at least 6 locals roofers and decided on Roof Smart. Their salesman, Frank was very helpful, and left lots of information. Their price was fair compared to all others. I had a hard time chooseing a color, and asked for addressess of roof they had recently done to go and look at the two colors I was down to choosing. I had to postpone their start date twice, as I had to have the solar removed from my old roof. They never gave me a hard time, and I know that this delay had to mess schedule up. The team that does the tear-off of the roof are the hardest working bunch of men I have ever seen. I took the day off from work as I was curious of the process. They started right after 7AM and did not finish until almost 7PM. The roof was really old and necessitated replacement of much lumber. The actual shingling of the roof seemed liked the easiest process. What fun to come home from work and find a brand new roof on my home. They even went around with magnets to find any missed nails, etc. I could not be happier. Please give them an opportunity to give you a quote. You will be happy that you did. I signed a contract to repair my roof around my skylight- estimated 2-3 weeks to get the repair done. After 5 weeks of nothing I called and they tell me that they havent done the job yet because theyre waiting on my custom skylight to arrive. Funny thing is my job didnt call for a new skylight. John apologized and said that he ordered one by mistake but they cant return it. it was build custom for my house so he will throw it in because of the delay and they have no use for it. A few days later I get a call from the sales department saying that they went to do my repair and its gonna need a new skylight, and I would have pay for a custom one. So I tell them what John told me - they say they will get back to me. Two weeks later and now they are refusing to do the job unless I buy the skylight from them. They are clearly trying to get me to pay for their mistake. They ordered a part that I didnt need, and they are trying to force me to pay for it now. Its a shame that a company that prides them self for customer service would try and get over on someone for 700$. 3 other company will warranty the work without a new skylight. Stay clear from roof smart unless to wanna get taken advantage of.

I was originally quoted 2 weeks at a reasonable price for an actively leaking roof. The rep was professional an appeared to be knowledgeable. 3 weeks later I called to find out what the hold up was - I was pushed to the end of September (and was not given a reason). Despite my request for expedited service because this was a huge problem (i.e. Water dripping from ceiling, bubbling in drywall etc..) I was brushed off. Post Hermine showers, I was experiencing increased leaking and multiple locations of discoloration/bubbling. I call and leave a message begging to be pushed up so more damage does not occur. I received a voicemail suggesting that I either "hire someone to cut out the sections of most ceiling drywall and place buckets to collect water or hire someone to do it" and then when they fix it at the end of October -yes pushed back AGAIN- I can replace it or hire someone to. Please...dont waste your time, money or frustration. They have many BBB complaints as well as an unreliable reputation around the Fort Myers community.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my complete satisfaction with roof smart. After doing significant research on my own accord, I finally reached out to Roof Smart. From the initial consultation and throughout the roof replacement process, Frank went above and beyond to keep me informed. Frank was always available to answer any questions that I had. The crew were very professional and the install was done in an extremely timely fashion. I doubt that you would find such a thorough job with any of the competition. From start to finish they kept the debris to a minimum on the property. The end product is fantastic. Usually, I do not write reviews as English is not my native language. In this case though, I could not let it go as I was completely impressed with Frank and the Roof Smart team. Furthermore, this is a very big investment. I wanted to share my experience to alleviate any stress for others when choosing a roofing company. Thank you Frank and Roof Smart.

We had a great experience with Roof Smart of SW Florida who did a new concrete tile roof for us in Feb 2017 and we highly recommend them. From the proposal process to the execution they did a great job and their pricing for the work done was of value. They completed the job on time, communicated the process/steps regularly, and followed up quickly on questions and input we had (small lanai screen repair and some additional patching/painting). Our only small issue is that we’d have liked them to be more thorough in their daily clean up. They are a really great team and we highly recommend them.

This is an awesome company. We had our entire asphalt shingle roof replaced. The roof was in terrible condition. We needed like 40 sheets of plywood replaced, approx.100 feet of roof truss wood, and 200 feet of fascia wood. From the estimate to completion we witnessed a well oiled, professional company, with quality workers and quality office personnel. All workers were employees of Roof Smart and that is a real plus. The office personnel were awesome keeping all things in order.
