My fiance needed to replace the roof on her home. I stopped at the Collis Roofing office on Memorial Blvd in Lakeland. I me a very delightful lady named Mariah Quinn, she listened to what I wanted and took my information. She said an estimator will be in touch, she was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Within an hour, she emailed me with the estimators name and phone number so I would know who was calling. Two hours later Greg Dickey called and we set up a day and time. Upon meeting Mr. Dickey, we found him friendly, knowledgeable and really concerned we understood all that is involved in the roof replacement. He explained the materials, warranties and procedures of the workers removing and replacing the roof. We explained the warranty we would be getting in detail, he answered all our questions. After comparing his estimate to the others we felt we would get a better deal for the money with Collis Roofing. We called Mr.Dickey, he came and we signed the contract. He said it would be two weeks before they started. It was just 10 days, he called and gave us the time, the crew arrived at 7 am. They spread tarps around the house on the ground. This crew worked swiftly and efficiently, they removed the old roof, replaced water damage lumber, installed the new roof system and cleaned the grounds and left at 3:45 pm. The only way you knew this 7 man crew was there, was we had a new roof. The grounds were cleaned and no debris was anywhere. Our experience with Collis Roofing Inc, was stress free and very enjoyable, From Mariah Quinn, to Greg Dickey and to the crew themselves, all aspects of this company is efficient, professional and extremely honest and trustworthy. They did all they said would do and no hidden extra charges anywhere. We have and we will recommend Collis Roofing Inc to my friends and anyone who needs a quality company.

"Just right" roof for us We interviewed about half a dozen roofing companies before deciding to go with Collis. A few smaller outfits took one look at our roof, which is two stories and has a very steep pitch, and we never heard from them again. One company seemed to want to “upsell” us a roof that was disproportionately expensive to the value of our home. With Collis, we got the “Goldilocks” effect…”just right” for our budget, and the clincher was they could install solar panels as well. Greg Dickey, who worked with us throughout was great, as was Jack Garcia, who oversaw the reroof job. The speed and efficiency with which they were able to complete the roofing once the contract were signed were truly amazing. The crew would arrive at dawn and work until sunset. All the crew was polite, and diligent about the clean up. The roof looks beautiful and we’re confident our investment increased our home value. Collis has a separate Solar Installation branch that worked with us to get the required paperwork from the city and TECO completed. Denise Koswalske, the Solar Manager, was professional and responsive. She took the time to explain to us how the project would work. We have online monitoring of our Solar system, so we can monitor how much energy we are producing. With some additional tree trimming/removal, we anticipate most of our energy needs being met with our solar panels, including electric cars. It’s a good feeling! We’re very pleased with Collis’ professionalism and highly recommend them.

WOW ! … is how I should start this review. I have been a Tampa Bay Area Realtor for 28 years. Over the years I have dealt with a lot of different tradesmen, contractors and Roofing companies. The true professionals at Collis Roofing (out of Lakeland, FL.) … are very much appreciated, and hereby recognized. They took so good of care of my 86-year old Mother, and her leaking roof. Starting the process with Mariah (Re-Roof Administrator), she was so professional, informative and NICE ! Then it was on to Greg, (Estimating Specialist) … who not only went out immediately to provide his very professional estimate, but then to use some remnant material to stop my Mom’s leak, until their crew could come out to do the re-roof job. Then … here comes Jack (Field Supervisor), and his great crew. Myself being some distance away, Greg and Jack both emailed me “Before” and “After” photos of my Mom’s roof. Jack even came back out after the dumpster was removed, and used a huge magnet to make sure no nails or metal was left in Mom’s yard. Mariah even hand delivered to my Mom’s front door, the invoice and warranty. I’ll end this long (but necessary to me), review … with another, WOW ! and a huge THANKS ! My re-roof will be in the near future … with these great people, and this great company. Mark :)

We would like to extend a special thanks to the Collis Roofing Company. Over the past 2 years we had some heavy winds and rain come thru the area. It took off a shingle tab here and there. Over time had some 25 to 30 shingles tabs taken off. It was time for a new roof. We contacted our homeowners insurance told us to look for a roofing company. COLLIS was right there at the top of the list. We contacted them and they sent out Mr. Greg Dickey , a roof inspector specialist with in the week. He was very professional and knowledgeable on his job expertise (thank you). He had several options to choose from: a basic roof repair to a better rated roof repair with better manufacture warranty. . We went with the upgraded roof repair. That roof option helped lower our homeowners insurance, and a better piece of mind for years to come. Collis Roofing took care of all the permits we needed for a new roof. They kept in close contact with our insurance company. Had a crew out at 7:00 am. The whole job was done by 5:00 pm. (a special thanks to the crew) The roof looked magnificent- a great roof repair. They did a fantastic job, even in the estimate process,no hidden fees no guessing, actually got on roof and did a real estimate,not a guesstimate like other roofing companies I had come do bids.I had major wood rot, different roof lines due to additions over the years before i bought the home, none of the falshing was installed correctly from prior roofing companys this why all the leaks and wood damage,even did a great job flashing my chimney,work was done quickly and exactly as described.NO leaks roof looks great even has the new vent system with the shingles they used,electric bill has dropped dramatically.workers was very nice.Supervisor over job was very helpful and always here watching work being done.Very professional company.I would highly reccomend this company for any type of roofing,like i said they used high grade materials and pay attention to all details.Thank you guys for doing my Roof.I am happy with it. We recently had Collis Roofing come replace our roof. The originally gave us an estimate in March. We had to wait until June to begin and with a phone call Greg came to our house to reconfirm the estimate and our roof was replaced within a week. They told me what they were going to do and they kept their word! The office and Greg called me with information and questions and kept me very much in the loop. I have already referred several friends to them. They were fast, efficient, and affordable. We had solar panels, so they came out 2 days before to remove them, and then put them back up after. They also made sure there werent any issues with anything. We spoke to the field Supervisor on several occasions. I got about 5 quotes to redo our roof. And I know for a fact that we went the best company. I appreciate everything Collis roofing did for us. Thanks!!!
