Would do 0 stars if possible. Its a long review... but you should read it. My son went here for 2 weeks before I pulled him out. He is 4 months old and was in the infant room. Day 1: when I picked him up, there were a total of 3 babies and 1 teacher, which is fine. But there was a baby younger than my son on a pillow on the floor crying for over 5 minutes while the teacher fed my son and wiped his mouth. She did not try to comfort, sooth, talk to, and do anything for the baby in the mean time. If they would do that for another baby, it could happen to my son. When I spoke to the director, I was told it was a rare occurrence and reassured they talked to the staff. The afternoon teacher who was always there when I picked up my son did not speak English. I could not communicate with her. The infant room was so cold that the staff was wearing hoodies and socks and were still cold, but there were days my sons socks werent even on him when I picked him up! I asked the teacher about the temperature and she said she told the staff up front about it. I went to the director who came to feel the room and asked the teacher why they never told her. So either the teacher or the director was being dishonest. The last straw was the day my husband dropped him off at 9:50 am. My son had last eaten at 8:30 am and was supposed to eat every 2-3 hours or on demand. Their log said he wasnt fed until 1:40 pm! He napped from 11:05-1:30 after some fussing, which Im sure was due to hunger! Then once he woke up, it took 10 minutes for them to give him a bottle, during which Im sure he was screaming his hungry head off. The assistant director didnt even believe it could be true, but we called the teacher and verified with her assistant, and it was accurate. The head teacher also decided for herself that my son was spitting up a lot (he has reflux... we already knew that) and didnt finish some bottles (we poured extra to make sure he wasnt hungry) so she stopped offering the bottle every 2 hours without speaking to me. We filled out care instructions, but they ignored it and never consulted me! Beware!

Bad Experience! TLE at 3090 Sunset Point Rd, Clearwater, FL has a very weird man watching 2 year olds for early morning care. TLE failed to tell me about this man during the walk through and sign up appointment. We did not feel comfortable with our daughter around this man. He also wears a hemp necklace, which is known for smoking weed. There is no way this guy would pass a drug test. I have 2 year old daughter that is still learning potty training. I do not want this weird man wiping my daughter when she goes potty. The normal female teachers for 2 years old would show up late almost every day. I had to wait in the parking lot every day for the female teachers to show up since I was not going to leave my daughter with the wierd man for early morning care. Another complaint was when I picked my daughter up from daycare in the afternoon. She had a huge pile of crap in her underwear. The 2 year old female teacher had no idea what was going on. Another day I picked my daughter up from daycare in the afternoon and found a hair band around my daughters neck. This is a choke hazard! The female teacher said she did not want to make my daughter cry for taking it off her. Another day I picked my daughter up from daycare in the afternoon and she got bite in the face from another kid. The teachers and administrator did not seem to care and could not guarantee it would not happen again. Who wants their kids to get bit in the face? The office manager is complete clueless and is lacking administration experience to run a daycare. She is full of excuses and an attitude. Major turnover of employees and management. New bulletins posted on the door to let you know. Front door lock malfunctions and is a inconvenience. No refrigerator for your kids food. Overall, we regret choosing TLE for a daycare.

My son is in the infant room at T.L.E and I would highly recommend this school to anyone who wants their child to attend a safe, clean and friendly environment with an extensive learning curriculum. While my son is not "learning" much per se since he is only three months old, T.L.E will be teaching him English/Spanish and Sign Language among many other subjects that will get him ready for when the time comes for him to move on to the next step. Coming from a bilingual household, for my son to be bilingual was highly important to my husband and I. As far as safety is concerned, T.L.E issues key fobs to those allowed to come into their school, and only two doors can be opened from the outside which gives my husband and I great peace of mind. When it comes to cleanliness, I have never seen anything dirty or dusty and they even have a special air filtration system for children who may suffer from allergies. The teachers are extremely nice and I have not had any issues. The director is always at the front desk and you easily see her at least once a day. There is a log of daily activities that includes the times when his diaper was changed, the times at which he was fed, and a tracking of his naps, along with any activities they may have had the children perform that day (tummy time, finger painting, etc.) I am very pleased with my sons teachers Caitlin, Courtney, Mildred, Ana and Rhonda. I have never come into the school and found my son crying or upset nor has he ever cried when Ive dropped him off, in fact he always seems quite happy, as do the other children there. My husband and I are quite happy that we found this great place for our son to be in while we are at work. With the daily stress of working, T.L.E provides us much needed peace of mind with the most important part of our family.

I would rate 0 stars if I could! Beware of them if you don’t want to be lied to and want to know when your child can actually start. In January I paid a $125.00 deposit to save a spot for my son in September. I asked and was told several times that the deposit would GUARANTEE a spot for my son in September and give me priority on the wait list. If it did not guarantee my son a spot in September I would never have paid the deposit because I cannot pay a non-refundable deposit for a maybe. Fast-forward to July, I called them to make sure that I had all the paperwork I would need only to find out that the previous director had promised me and at least 4 other families spots in September that did not exist. Not only did they tell me that my son could not start in September as promised but he couldn’t start until after he turned 1, almost a year after I had paid the deposit which was supposed to guarantee him a spot in September! And I only found this out because I called them! It does appear that since it was discovered that the previous director was guaranteeing spots that did not exist there has been a policy change. Now a $125.00 deposit puts your child on a waiting list and who knows when your child might start. They might start on the date that they will quote you as the next availability or it might be a year as it was in my case. Not only that, you may get 4 months or less of notice that the start date you were quoted has been delayed. By that time all of the other centers in the area will be full seeing most daycares in the area have at least a 6 month waiting list. If you decide to take your chances, make sure you have a backup plan!
