I just moved to the area, and. I idea where to go for my hair! I needed color, highlights, and a trim badly. I found Flying Scissors via google and based on reviews (yelp and google). I called and made an appointment. Gio consulted with me the day of. We talked, I told him what I wanted, he gave suggestions, we came to an agreement. One thing that stood out to me was him saying he would put together a proposal, and give me a price before we got started. NEVER had a salon do this before, it was such a professional touch, not to mention I did break into a sweat hearing my total (we all know you can get up front to pay and wonder how the heck did my bill get so high!). He was so kind, patient, and attentive. He took his time and gave me exactly what I wanted. I felt so pampered, relaxed, and comfortable here. Gio is so knowledgeable about hair and the cutting edge techniques/technologies. He also gave me a printed list of restaurant suggestions, since I am new to town!! I love that the same person did my color, cut, shampoo, style. Gio recommended products for me, but didnt push me to buy anything. I also received a welcome kit for new clients - it contained some great coupons (one I was able to use that day, a spa one, and many others for future visits)! This was such a lovely touch. Everyone was very friendly and polite. I definitely recommend Flying Scissors, and setting your appointment with Gio. This is definitely my new salon in town. I will be back once my roots start showing (even though I took home a handy dandy touch up kit for a small fee to tie my over) thank you to Gio and his staff for such a wonderful experience!! Bravo!!!!

I recently moved to Clermont and was very nervous to find a new hair salon. I had been with my stylist in my hometown for 10 years so I was really stressing over finding a good stylist here. I originally went to a top rated salon in downtown Orlando and paid $100 for a haircut I was unhappy with. I recently got married and after a year of growing out my hair I had the post wedding itch to cut it off. The lady at the expensive salon refused to cut my hair as short as I wanted it because she didnt want to cut off too much of the blonde in my ombré. After telling her I didnt care she still left it about 3-4 inches longer than what I wanted. Fast forward 2 months and a lot of research I landed on Flying Scissors. I decided I still wanted my hair cut the way I originally wanted so I took the chance and made an appointment. My appointment was with Brittney and she was SO nice! She gave me the cut I wanted and made sure it looked exactly how I wanted it before she let me get out of the chair. She told me about the products she was using on my hair and even suggested I try using coconut oil to help with the over processed dryness I have going on right now. Ive used the coconut oil twice now and I seriously cant believe I didnt know about it sooner! Thanks to Brittney my hair is so soft and silky. The salon is beautiful and everyone I had contact with was so nice. Being someone who always changes my hair I am happy to have found a salon in Clermont, I just wish I would have gone to Flying Scissors first.

My husband and children got me a facial for Mothers Day this year. I always get anxious going to facials because generally you are told how bad your face/complection is in order to sell over priced products. This experience was vastly different. The salon is very nice looking. I could tell that they take pride in their shop. I was greeted and welcomed promptly and offered a drink. Jamie took me to the room. Her room was very comfortable. It has a nice atmospohere. She asked me if I had any concerns about my face so that she could have the appropriate items for my facial. Since she did this ahead of time, I didnt hear any fumbling during my relaxing facial. She discussed what she was doing, but not in a "play by play" sort of way. She showed concerns for any sensitivities that I may have. At the end of the session, she asked me if I had any questions or concerns in regards to the products she used or future care of my skin. I appreciate this method instead of other salons who package up $200 worth of supplies to pawn off on you. I would recommend Jamie and this salon to my family and friends.

I stopped by Flying Scissors after work for a haircut, so I was a bit of a mess (I am a painter). I explained to my hair staylist that I was headed out of state in the morning for a friends wedding and needed a good cut. I wear my hair very short. Amanda didnt talk much but was quick (I thought that was a good thing at the time). She shampooed my hair then cut it wet. When she finished she asked if I wanted it blow-dried and styled; I said no thanks since I would be showering as soon as I got home. When I got home and looked in the mirror I am sorry to say I was horrified. The cut was so poor. It was just butchered - uneaven, choppy, and all around a disappointment. I ended up pulling out my own sheers and spent over an hour fixing. What a waste of 50 bucks, I so wish I could get my money back (they also charged me the price of a womans cut ($20 more than mens) even though I have very short hair). Lesson learned: dont leave the salon with wet hair.

This is by far the best salon I have been to! Everyone is friendly here. From the moment you walk in the door you are greeted with a hello, a smile and asked if you want anything to drink...water, soda, glass of wine. The salon is always clean, has very nice decor and the atmosphere is very relaxing. There are recliners to relax in while your coloring is settng and you get a scalp massage EVERY time they wash your hair on the most comfortable wash sinks I have ever had. My hairdresser is Nooshin and she is simply AMAZING! From the first time I sat in her chair she has transformed my look. I have received so many compliments and each time I know I can just sit down in her chair and she knows exactly what to do that will look best on me. I could go on and on but really you just have to go there and see for yourself. You wont be disappointed and youll never go anywhere else!

Root CBD

I went through close to 20 stylists around Clermont before finding Courtney. The other stylists either didnt know how to do some of the modern mens cuts that I was requesting (most had no idea what I was talking about)... or they didnt seem to care about making me happy with the cut. It was all turn-n-burn. Courtney not only understands how to do what I request, but shes also super cool and makes sure that Im thrilled with the cut before leaving the chair. I love being able to schedule an appointment and know that Im gonna be treated right and Im gonna get the cut just how I want it. My hair has never looked better. So if you want a great cut and great customer service, then you can STOP reading reviews... grab your phone and make an appointment with Courtney.
