Upon walking into the Sky Salon for a haircut, I was promptly greeted warmly by a perky staff member who walked up to me, gave me a handshake, took my coat, and offered me refreshments. I was very impressed with the look of the salon. It was definitely more classy and updated than what it appeared to be from the outside. When the stylist, Devon, was ready for me, she walked up and greeted me warmly and helped carry my things to the chair for the consultation. I was pleased with how she really listened to my requests and offered suggestions. She even rooted through a magazine to help find examples of the style I wanted. As she walked me over to shampoo me, she offered me a complimentary paraffin dip for my hands (which was really cool, and felt great....it was my 1st one). The shampooing was really nice, as she massaged my scalp! The shampoo chairs are much more comfortable than the average. The sinks sit a little higher, so your neck isnt bent way back at an uncomfortable 90 degree angle. Se really spent a lot of time cutting my hair, to make sure it was done precisely, and she explained everything she was doing to it/putting in it. Over-all my cut turned out very well, and the experience was very pleasant. That day, I made an appointment with Devon for low lights. I feel very comfortable and at ease in this salon....which is a lot for me to say, because every time I get my hair done I freak out and get very nervous and scared that it will turn out bad (due to some awful experiences). So needless to say, this experience was very refreshing! The only downside was the price. $50 is a bit much for haircut. The price can be lower than that, based on the stylist. Mine was $50 b/c I was with a senior stylist.

Adrienne is AMAZING! I have very long hair and a long history to match when it comes to disappointing visits at countless salons. I tried Sky Salon for the first time in 2012 and dont plan on going anywhere else! Adrienne is fabulous; she listens to what you want, takes time with you, and truly has a passion for making people look and feel their best when it comes to hair. She has never pushed unwanted products or services on me and makes my experience one that is relaxing and enjoyable. So refreshing & rare to find in a salon these days! Ive been going every 7 weeks for regular trims & layering (something I never did before) and my hair is in the best shape and health that its ever been! Every time I go back, I am so impressed that Adrienne manages to give me the exact cut & style Im desiring; for a long-haired client who is particular about keeping my length but still "trying something new" this is so important to me, and something I never found anywhere in a stylist; even those who credited themselves as the "best of the best." Whats even more impressive are the prices. $30 for an hour & a half in the chair on hair as long as mine? Hard to believe but true! Sky Salon offers a clean, beautiful, and cozy environment (modern meets rustic) a friendly, outgoing staff who will go out of their way to make your experience great, and hairstylists with experience who know what theyre doing. As someone whos worked in management and the service industry for 10+ years, this place is as good as it gets! I cant say enough good things about Adrienne. After 27 years of searching, I finally found a hairstylist I can call my own!

I have been a client for just over a year. What a fabulious experience Sky Salon and the staff give. What impresses me the most is the the shampoo and massage is always great. There has never been a time that I felt shorted with any service. The experience that the entire staff creates , is a feeling of warm friendship, they perform together like a well oiled machine. no one misses a step in making the client feel like a friend of the family at Sky Salon . Give a gift of professionalize, wealth of knowelege each member of this staff takes great pride in their personal proformace of their work and it shows. If you want an awesome hair cut, perm, color, by real professioals come to Sky Salon where Damon and wife (Penny) knows how to run a business and pick empolyees who care about you, not a number or a price tag. I have been going to the same hairdresser for 15+ years and after my last cut with her I was fed up and panicked to find someone who could cut my hair the way I always wanted. I called Sky Salon after a recommendation from a friend, and they were able to get me in same day with Hannah. Everyone at Sky is so friendly and happy to be there, and I was greeted kindly and felt welcome. Hannah did an AMAZING job on my hair, spending over an hour fixing and perfecting a cut that my other hair stylist couldnt manage to achieve in the past year and completely butchered in her last attempt. Hannah was patient, asked what I wanted and made sure the cut was exactly how I envisioned it before I left. She gave me advice and answered all my questions, and she made me feel comfortable and seemed to genuinely love her job and be interested in her clients. I was so grateful when she was done I had to give her a hug and I dont even hug my own mother!! 10/10 highly recommend thank you Sky Salon & Hannah

I have been a satisfied client of Sky Salon for 4 years now. Never an unpleasant experience. Right when you walk thru the door you get greeted by one of the fabulous receptionists and get offered water or tea. The music is always great and the atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming. I go to Kevin for my cut and color, he does an AMAZING job! (gives an AWESOME shampoo!) He always lets me know what the latest and upcoming trends are. Kevin is very knowledgeable when it comes to hair and I find it reassuring going to him since I have curly hair. He knows what works for my hair and what works for my face too! I will continue to be a client at Sky Salon for as long as Im living within a 100 mile radius! If your looking for a great hair cut, knowledgeable stylists and a great atmosphere... Sky Salon is what your looking for!!!

People of color please beware of this salon!!!! The owner is absolutely prejudice and refused to work on my mother AFTER we made an appointment weeks in advance!!! We even came in for a long consultation, made an appointment, then a DAY before our appointment they call to cancel because they refused to work on my mother due to their own personal reasons. We were also told that my mother and I wouldnt be able to pay for this hair cut and color due to how expensive it was!!!! Shame on the owner for racial profiling a customer and deeming us not good enough for their services. I wish I could give this salon 0 stars! Please spend youre hard earned money in another salon that deserves your money and time. Absolutely disgusted that places like this exist in the 21st century. Beware.
