This was a very long time ago, but these people moved us from a home into a temporary apartment. I was actually in town the other day (moved to a different part of the state years ago) and saw that these people were still in business. Which is good for them, and I hope they have changed but I had a painful experience with them a long time ago that still bothers me. We were moving out of our home into a temporary apartment while our future place was being built. Someone had recommended these people to me, and the person they sent out to survey our house was professional and did a fantastic job. For sake of this review I will call him Marty. He insured us that he would personally handle our job and it would all go smoothly. Fast forward to the day of our move and three people ring the bell. And unfortunately, no Marty, which immediately surprised and concerned me. I called the office and spoke to the dispatcher who told me that Marty had to take an out of town job and would not be there. We didnt really have much choice given that we were closing two days from then so we went ahead. Very quickly, I could see that two of the three people knew exactly what they were doing but the third person (we were told later that he was the "new guy") clearly was a liability. He dropped a few things, didnt do much heavy lifting at all and other than being friendly was basically useless. The job was running well behind schedule and with this being a Saturday, I was getting very concerned. Because we were going from a home to an apartment, some of our things had to go into storage. It was already dark outside when we arrived at the storage facility when one of the crew handed me a phone and had me talk again to the dispatcher/manager. He told me that the job was over budget and that i had to agree to an immediate increase or else he was instructing his guys to shut the truck and impound our property. The amount in question was probably $175, but at the time that was a lot of money and quite frankly an outrageous request. I mentioned to him the problems with no Marty and the "new guy" as the reasons the job was taking longer, but he was having none of it. Now if that was today, I would have called the police, but back then my wife and I were panicked and told them to finish the job. The crew had to know that no tip was going to be coming at this point, and wed find out later what that meant. It was really a foolish move by the company. In any event, they did get things into storage and the rest went to our apartment. I paid the additional amount and thanked them for their efforts. The next morning I felt violated and spoke with the person who had recommended them. He gave me the name of the owner who listened to what I had to say, but basically did nothing although I wish I had put a stop payment on the check. But two wrongs dont make a right. Three months later, we move into our new home. Obviously a different moving company, and those people did a phenomenal job. I actually need to look up there name and write a favorable review on them because they were honest, fast and careful. A few weeks later, my wife and I realize that we had a white patio bench that was meant to go into our new home. It never made it. We had inspected the truck from Coral Springs Moving & Storage before we left and it sure seemed empty. We can only theorize that it had been well hidden beneath a bunch of moving pads . I guess someone from the original group of movers figured out how they were going to get a tip. Again, this was a long time ago (probably 1999) and they may be an incredible moving company with a lone rogue employee or two. But seeing their truck the other day turned my stomach and I had to write this.

I just moved from the Pittsburgh suburbs to Florida and used Coral Springs to handle the move. My wife is a doctor and Im an ex military personnel that has a professional job now too. I like things done on time and efficiently. I have to say Coral Springs exceeded my expectations in every area. The move was set up a month prior, every question was answered before I committed to the move. They called ahead, were on time, attention to detail, they wrapped everything, I mean everything in pads! It was delivered on the other end in the same fashion. The guys treated our things like Id treat my things. Nothing was damaged, scuffed or in any different shape from when it left PA. On the Florida end, these guys worked extra hard to get our items unpacked before the tropical depression hit. Champ, Ike and Ricky are true professionals, so were the office staff, Dan and Bob. IF you want a company that truly cares about getting the job done use these guys PS this is the first review Ive ever written on anything, but I was that satisfied I had to say something!

I would never use this company. They were absolutely horrible!!!!! They moved my parents, 82 and 84 yrs old from Coconut Creek To Coral springs. They dropped their wall unit off the truck, they would not compensate my parents the value of the unit. They offered a few hundred dollars, which was not enough to cover any of the damages. The driver/team leader said they would remove the unit from the garage once someone looked at it, never did that. They ruined a dresser, nicked many pieces of furniture, scraped the outside trim off the house and did NOTHING!!!! They hardly returned calls. When a claim form was sent, (several times), they kept saying it was not received, finally they received it and still did not compensate my parents. Horrible to deal with!!! I feel bad since I recommended the company to my parents, in the past used them, but did not know they changed owners. If this was the last company on earth, I would move myself. If you value your things, do not use Coral Springs Moving and Storage!

This is the worst moving company I have ever dealt with and Ive used quite a few over the years. They sent 3 young guys that did this job just for extra money. Their real jobs were working at Blue Martini as servers and they bragged about how they made more money doing that job. 2 of the guys spent the majority of time complaining to each other how the 3rd guy just stayed in the truck and didnt do his share of work. They broke off a piece of the footboard on a $2,000 bedroom suite and claimed it wasnt in the truck and they didnt know what happened to it. They couldnt figure out how to get my headboard in the master bedroom so they left it in the second bedroom. My microfiber living room set had sweat marks on the fabric when they were done. When I called the company later about the broken footboard, they said they would check into it and call me back and I havent heard a word from them since. If you value your property and want a professional moving company, go to someone else.
