DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Originally I was loving this company, I had called and made several changes to my move. They were very accommodating and patient with me. I thought this was going to be the best experience ever...but I was wrong!! I received a call from the company the day before indicating that they were changing my move from a 2 man crew to a 3 man crew. I asked if this was going to change the price and I was assured it wouldnt. The day of the move came and I was told that I was the second move of the day and that the first move was scheduled for 2 hours. Therefore I anticipated them arriving at my house by noon at the latest. I called at 11:30 to see if they were running on time and was told that they had no idea when they would arrive. So I waited until 12:30 to call again and was told they would probably be another hour. They arrived at 2:45 pm. The movers were very pleasant and moved all my items without incident. As I was reviewing the paperwork I noticed that the amounts were different (about $70 more), I spoke with the mover and he said he wasnt sure why so I figured I would call on Monday to figure it out. When I called I was told that the estimate was just an estimate and that was for 2 people not 3 so most likely I wouldve had to pay more. I felt like I was completely deceived, they made the change from 2 people to 3 so why should I have to pay the difference, why wouldnt I be charged the original rate for the length of time? When I asked if the price would change the person didnt say anything about the fact that the rate would increase. They specifically said that NOTHING WOULD CHANGE. I have no problems telling people (ones that I know and random strangers on the street) I wouldnt use this company but if they really want to make sure that they clarify everything and not sign anything until they speak to a person at the company. During a stressful time this is the last thing I needed...if they had just refunded me the $70 I wouldnt be so upset, guess they need the money more than the good review!

What began as a good experience on the phone and in person, turned out to be a disaster and much more expensive than anticipated. Out of the two men I got, one arrived with a very negative attitude. They rushed through the agreement and made sign quickly. One thing I asked was whether they were insured. They said yes they were licensed and insured and there was nothing to worry about. Lone and behold, they dropped a $700 desk I purchased in El Dorado. A piece of the desk cracked open and there are scratches on the side. They filled out the claim form for me and said someone will call me back. At one point, they looked at my dining glass table and said they could not take it because it was too heavy. I explained to them that a person from the company had come over to do an inventory and he never pointed out that. After more than an hour on the phone, they had to send two additional people to load the table (despite one person delivered it from El Dorado). Another thing I noticed is that they do work on an hourly basis, so they had an incentive to take a long time to make the move. Particularly if I was the second house of the day. In the end, I ended up paying more than the most expensive quote I got and guess what they are not insured. They only gave me $75 to go fix the desk. They promised to send a repairer which never happened because they dont have a list of approved repairers or vendors. They just pay you a symbolic fee for breaking anything that you have. Good luck with them. As for me I will never ever use them again and will recommend against them any time I can.

I had very mixed results from my more with these guys. Got quote over the phone for hourly rates for 2 guys, then went over what I had and their time estimate was over double what I knew it would take to do this. They said over 7-1/2 hours and I knew it should be 2-1/2 hours. 4 miles away. 2 bedroom apt with minimal furniture. Some boxes and lots of bags. I had one request for my dresser, take the drawers out and take the body down and stick the drawers back in it. Period. Had to leave after first hour. Ex-wife was directing. As soon as I leave everything slows down. They sent 3 guys and they took longer than Id expected with 2 guys. My dresser, they shrink wrapped it and bounced it down the stairs on a dolly. My drawers, I stuck several divided organizers with verious items; change, screws and nails, pencils, pens, markers and all kind of stuff set between towels for protection. All of that ended up in the bottom right corner of the dresser jammed in a wad. The drawer wouldnt even open and Ive got over an hour of sorting stuff and Im not close to being done. The 3 hours they took at 3 guys resulted in $660 charge instead of the $504 I was quoted originally. To quote another unhappy customer... "4. I always use only 2 men, this time, they talked me into using 3 men, charging more, honestly, did not make a difference. They just worked less, same time was spend. " Not sure if Id ever use these guys again.

Honestly, the wist experience I ever had with the moving company. 1. They where late by an hour. 2. They had my new address wrong, I had to wait for them in new location for 1.5 hour, so as people who were helping me. 3. I moved from other state and had a zero damages, in fact I moved 8 times past 20 years and had very minor damages. This time, moving one hour away, I was very disappointed. They were so rough with my furniture and my belongs that when I started to unpacked, I found many things broken. I wrapped all furniture in plastic, which was wrapped and many scratches appeared. They broke my mirror, my chair, dishes, bases etc. 4. I always use only 2 men, this time, they talked me into using 3 men, charging more, honestly, did not make a difference. They just worked less, same time was spend. 5. I connected with management, tried to communicate with them, asking for some attention on this matter, they exchanged 2 emails with me and I never was able to get anything from them, not even apology. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED, WOULD NEVER USED THEM AGAIN.

I recently relocated from Tamarac to Port St Lucie. I had been in Tamarac for less than three years and had no experience with any local movers. I chose five companies (pretty much randomly) and was able to pretty much eliminate three when the interviews indicated that there was little chance their promises could be met (one estimated the job at about half the cost of the others). Two Men and a Truck and one other indicated that each achieved an estimate of cost through professional experience. When the closing on the house was delayed as well as the move, Two Men and a Truck demonstrated a flexibility that kept the process moving forward. The two men were efficient and competent and stayed on schedule. The truck was clean and well equipped. My experience with Two Men and a Truck was first class. I am glad I chose them and stayed with them.
