I would like to submit a complaint about one of your agents and how disappointed we are in the whole moving experience with Griffin Moving and Storage out of Davie Florida. We hired them to pack our house in Coral Springs Florida and delver to Alpharetta Georgia. When the truck arrived in GA at our house 8 days after leaving Florida (which was fine) we were advised that they were missing furniture and it was still in the warehouse, a large area rug, BBQ, patio furniture, lawn mower, bike, exercise equipment and would be delivered 7 to 10 days later!!! once we started getting boxes off the truck we found they were mislabeled, unlabeled, unprofessionally packed, crushed because of the poor packing. we had to open every box as it came off the truck to see what was inside - which led to a much longer un-load time. Once we completed the unloading, we tried to open as many boxes as possible to verify any damage (so far minor) but we left the boxes outside for the truck to take (as has been the case in all of the moves i have been associated with). When they were ready to leave they informed me they wouldn’t take the boxes or garbage so we now have a small hill of boxes and trash that has not been cleaned up. unfortunately for Allied your name is all over these boxes. i have since been informed that this will not be cleaned up for another 7-10days. I have moved 19 times in my life, it comes with the job i’m in, but this is by far the worst move i have ever been part of and for $23,000 dollars i expected a much more professional team that had the Allied name behind it. You can be very assured that i will be sharing this experience with as many people as possible and while i don’t hold Allied directly responsible at the end of the day no one cares about or even knows about Griffin Moving and Storage, but they sure know about Allied Van Lines.

With regard to packers arriving on time A+ The movers also arrived on time A+ The delivery driver was superb A+ Our household item were damaged by poor packing and loading. Antique furniture gouged, and chipped. One of the pieces of our cement 3 tiered planter was packed underneath our kiln. Thus it is in pieces. I believe that there is either a lack of training or the packers just simply didnt care. We are not happy with our move. I would not recommend your company. I gave two stars because the driver that arrived at our house in Michigan did an excellent job. Otherwise, this was a terrible experience and an absolute waste of money.

From the home visit to the day my belongings were delivered the entire experience was easy and seamless. Ive never worked with someone so professional and caring in this capacity. Frank was the driver who ensured my house made it safely from Ft Lauderdale to Indianapolis and the crew that worked with him in both states were equally as caring. Its easy to see why Frank had won multiple awards with Alllied. If you need long distance moving definitely call Griffin Moving and Allied. When I got out of the Army a couple years ago I moved home with my daughters. Most of my stuff was in storage so there were two pick-up sites. There was a bit of a problem with the packers packing up things that werent supposed to go so having stuff that is supposed to be packed up clearly delineated from whats not is especially helpful.

Having moved several times, this was all around an excellent experience. Driver and movers very professional and courteous. On time and worked diligently to get the job done. I cant say enough about the professionalism that was experienced. I did pack my own items so that is not something I would be able to comment on.
