Worst moving company and experience ever! Lets start from the top, the moving assessor came to my house and quoted me a price after seeing all of our belongings inside our home and garage the assessor told me I needed to get a certain size storage unit and that all of my items would fit on one truck. The next day I went to storage to reserve the exact size the assessor told me. When I looked at the storage unit I immediately realized there was no way all of my items would fit in this unit. So I asked the storage representative to give me a size bigger. Moving day came the movers jam packed our furniture and other fragile items onto the truck however all of the items in my garage would not fit, and at this point its already 9pm at night. The movers put whatever they could into storage by the time they were done the storage unit is packed to capacity. The very next day I call the Fort Lauderdale office and spoke to a woman, I expressed that I need another truck and more movers to finish that job that was started the woman then has the moving assessor call me. He begins to basically tell me its my fault because I told him I wasnt keeping the majority of the items in my garage ( I would never say that) and in order for him to send more movers out they would have to charge me AGAIN, at this point I had already paid $2270 which I believe was already an outrageous fee but to be told Ill be charged another $1,000 again is absurd especially for a mistake that was not my fault. I was lied to by their assessor promised one thing and totally delivered something else. All my sons movers hit me with the typical Bait and Switch! In the end I ended up renting another storage unit and paying other movers to move the rest of my items from storage into my garage which was totally unfair. To add the cherry on top of this cake of disaster, upon delivery many things were damaged during the move, My Flat Screen TV, many dishes I received from around the world totally shattered. A brand new night stand totally scraped and dented on the surface, my sons brand new nightstand lamp , bottles of perfume and cologne shattered. I would never use this company again nor would I ever recommend them. To make matters worse this was only a local move no more than 20 miles max. I plan on contacting the corporate office immediately to complain. No one should be treated the way I was. Thank you for nothing All my Sons Movers, A Very Angry Customer.

When the movers got to my house they mustve told the assessor how long it would take and calculated the price from there however, the guy in charge never told me the price. He was constantly trying to promote his own business instead of letting me know that a move from my house to my storage, which was a mile away, was going to cost me just about $1000. Then once we got to the storage I told him that that price was ridiculous and I didnt want to sign it, so the guy decided to forge my signature because they werent supposed to put my property into my unit without my payment. Meanwhile, things that were being donated to charity they packed and the way they packed everything was awful. They just threw things in boxes whether it fit or not, taped it up, and threw it on the truck they gave no care about my property. Once the movers got to the storage they just threw everything into the storage nothing had any type of order, our lamp was broken, boxes had only one item in them, the mattress was on top of our furniture it was literally a safety hazard because it was so difficult to get into the storage to get to any of our things. And then to make matters worse later on that night I realized my iPads was missing. I had so much hope and faith that they didnt steal it I went through every box that was in that storage and redid everything looking for my iPad to no avail. Im so upset I will never use this company ever again!!!

I would like to rate this Company higher, but it depends upon the particular area within All My Sons that we are talking about. Brett Swenson was the estimator and a pleasure to work with. Both sets of movers on the pickup and delivery were outstanding. Jodie, Leo at the office were very responsive and helpful. But, theres a difference between having something broken during a move (We had a minor incident or two, but overall things were delivered without damage) and having a few items never delivered. We reported two items that never showed up after pickup---a metal step stool and small bookcase. I spoke to Richard at the Pompano Beach office on several occasions. He admitted that he had forgotten to call back, promised that this time he would follow up on his investigation and call us back. We have, to this day, never received that return call. As I stated, it is one thing to have a few minor incidents of breakage, but to have items never delivered is an entirely different matter. Beyond that, we treated the movers with respect, and fed and tipped them well. All we needed was a proper follow up and some explanation why two items of our personal property never even arrived at our new home. We never received that. I would expect that having property never delivered to a home would be of paramount importance to a moving company.

Not very happy with All My Sons so far. We chose them because of their reputation, our reference checks and comparison to other movers. They moved us from Fort Lauderdale to Winter Park. The guys were pleasant but with a crew of guys bustling around, it was impossible to watch them pack every box and piece of treasured furniture, and we should not have to! They dismantled a vintage teak extension table and could not re-assemble it. Promised to send someone over the next day - that was three weeks ago. Thankfully, I packed the really important treasured items - nothing I packed broke! After opening one disappointing box after another with broken and damaged property, we filed a claim. After two days of trying to call them to confirm they had received it, we learned they had not. Re-sent today and hope they resolve things quickly. We cannot settle into our home completely until the damaged pieces are repaired. Finally got a response a week after filing. The note said that they had 30 days to respond and if we had any questions we could call them at the number below - there was no number. So we are expected to live with broken glass and non-functioning furniture while they review rather than just sending someone out to see the items. Not recommending AMS at all!

Worst moving company ever! First off, the assessor came to our house and quoted us a price After seeing all of our belongings and said All our belongings would fit on one truck. This was not happening after the movers Jam packed our furniture and other fragile items on the truck. Then they started rearranging things and still, it all wouldnt fit. My husband in turn calls the office and speaks to a few people, whom he said was rude after him explaining everything then in turn tell him they will send another truck but that would be another $2000.00. He told them NO, but they sent another truck anyway and we turned them away. This was in fact their mistake 100% from quoting us one thing and delivering no such thing...can you say Bait and Switch! Upon receiving our belongings the next day 4 hours away, many things were damaged, some not replaceable. A fairly new patio table for one with a big hole right through the middle of it. Scratches and dents galore on furniture and belongings. I would think twice about this company for a long distance move even short distance. Also the price they quoted us was for everything, and we have to make another trip back ourselves and rent a truck, so that will be another expense and an inconvenience as well.
