My experience with this store over the past two months has been a nightmare!!! I had my car towed to this location back in May due to my 20 inch rims getting a flat tire and the lug nut would not come off. Before I continue please note I had the same lug nut issue and took it to this location and they were able to replace tire no problem!!! This time around not so much! After a few days of pep boys having my car I was told that they could NOT get the lug nut off my car and they would have to replace the wheelbearing and hub. So my price jumped fro 225 to 749ish. Huge difference but what I was supposed to say...... they are suppose to be the experts and advise me that they tried everything to take the lug nut off but It would not come off. I moved forward with the replacement. A few more days passed (BTW I am still car less) I get a call stating in the process of them trying to replace part they cracked my chrome "20" inch rim and they apologized and told me the manager will contact me the following Monday which it was a Sunday. Monday came of course I did not receive a car. I called on Tuesday to follow up and spoke with manager and they told me they would of course replace my rim but I had to pay for the wheel bearing replacement/hub still. A few more days passed and they could not find my RIM.so they offer for me to come down and choose a whole new set of rims on them of course. Sounds like a nice deal right but I still paid 740 for labor/parts but hey I got new rims right!!! Ok so finally I get my car and notice extra lights on the dash board that were not on before. They told me the lights would turn off. One like eventually did the others did not. The "TVS" and "ABS" remained on. I texted manager to let him know and he told me to bring car back. I did. I left the car with them again and was told the sensor was left off. The manager told me he would replace for free. GREAT right!!! well the light still not turn off and he then tried to tell me a more experience tech was coming the day and he would look at it. So again another day passed and he then ordered different sensor after the failed attempt from the more experience mechanic.. Finally I was told from the manager that they "could not fix it and tried everything" .I was then referred to my dealer and told to contact them if its something they did wrong. The manager was very apologetic but I hope you can understand my frustration by this point. I have been moved than understanding. Longer story cut short. My dealer told me after the evaluation that they but the wheelbearing in backwards!! To my surprise the experience mechanics that told me I needed to get this part replace did not even know how to install it in properly hence why the sensors they tried not working. I texted the manager if he could talk so I could explain what they said "no response". I wanted a day then called the Client relation line.to for my second complaint. two days later a person who was not a manager tells me to bring in the paper from dealer to again the same service manager Ive be dealing with. I was not happy with this!! I called the client relation back requesting a general or district manager call me. I was told they are not in on the weekends which is why they probably did not call me directly but they should call me Monday or Tuesday the latest. Today is Tuesday and I have yet to hear from ANYONE. My car is stlll at HONDA and I have NO car. At this point I have contacted my lawyer. So warning to anyone with a minor problem this location will turn it to a MAJOR problem. Learn from my story!!! sorry for all the mistakes....... its all the frustration!!!

BE AWARE! They test drive your car when you ask for oil change! I did not look up those reviews because I just needed an oil change. I made a big mistake. Now I know why this pepboy got such negative reviews. Although I made an appointment, Ian, the front desk, told me to come back in an hour, then changed to 45 mins, then said he would call. I went to other stores, but decided to returned earlier. I saw the mechanic walked out of my car with greasy brown bag. I did not want to believe that he took my car to buy his lunch because I wanted to believe human has basic moral. I was WRONG. After opened my car door, the entire car smelled like fried chicken, side door had greasy oil ink. Radio was turned way up, the radio channel was changed, and AC was turned on (it was off when I dropped the car). I called back to speak to the manager, he had Ian called me back. All Ian can say is "we apologize" “we cannot reach the mechanic” "the mechanic (Danny) could be testing the AC". I asked why he needed to change my radio channel and brought food to my car. Ian cant answer. I asked to speak to manager again. He actually told me that they test drive every car. REALLY! test drive peoples car with food when they request oil change??? I have never heard of such thing! The manager obviously had no patience to hear what you have to say. Whatever you said, he interrupted "what do you want me to do" So I asked him "what can you do?" He said i can give you money back, you have to come to store. They also did not record your accurate mileage (you know why? For the convenience of test drive!), did not put the sticker to tell you the next oil change. Mr. V is the store manager. He did not even apologize when I went to get refund. The mechanic Danny was still there.

Too bad theres nothing less than one star. This is probably the worse experience I ever had getting a gift card. Please do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this place. I purchased a gift card for $500.00 yesterday. As soon as I got it and my debit card went thru something happen to Their system and the gift card was invalid, basically they couldnt figure out how to put the money I already paid into the gift card. So they gave me an empty gift card and told me is ok, everything went well. When I called gift card department they told me the gift card didnt have any money so I came back to figure it out. After an hour of Eduardo, who by the way was the ONLY person at pep boys that wanted to help there was no resolution. He first called the manager Franklin Fernandez who basically told him I dont know call the IT department which he did and they told him call the gift card department which he did none of the department or manager knew what to do or couldnt he bother to ever find out and figure It out.... the bank cant do anything as now I have to put a claim for the money and wait... this is how we ended: so sorry, nothing we can do, bye. Worst customer service I ever experienced, Eduardo tried, nice guy, but he didnt know what to do. Im short 500, no gift card and no resolution from pep boys!. Great job guys. Wont be back and would make sure no one I know goes there. Stay away!. Seriously. So many other options in the area, stay away from this one. I expect a call from corporate.
