DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING!!! They are completely unprofessional. I recently moved to South Florida for my job, and am originally from New York. I have chosen to do business at this location due to it being conveniently located near my job. I had my muffler replaced on my Jeep back in NY paying around $700, luckily enough with it coming with a LIFETIME warranty (please see pictures attached). I recently was experiencing the same issue, and knew this needed to be addressed. I scheduled a 2pm appointment at this location in Davie, Florida off of University Drive. When I dropped the car off, I explained to Alex (the "Manager") the situation. When I brought up the warrant-able item, I immediately received a different look than when I first walked in the door. He let me know they will take a look into it and will give me a call. Around 4pm that same day, I received a call from Alex stating the part would indeed be covered under warranty, I just needed to pay for the labor which was $180. He let me know this would be completed by the end of the day, as they are done by 5:30pm, and I very happily agreed to authorize these repairs. Now lets get to the good part... 5pm comes around and I have not heard anything yet, so I figured I would give them a shout since it was a 15 minute ride from work, but no answer. I give them another few rings; 5:15, 5:20, 5:30, and still NOTHING. Finally, as I am at work still panicking with no where to go or any way to get anywhere, I receive a phone call at 5:45pm from Alex. Here is where it gets better.. He states " Hello sir, your car is completed and repairs went well.. BUT we cannot release the car to you due to the Meineke in NY not wanting to pay for the part right now. " .. I was confused to say the least, and he said I can try to call them to get it sorted out to get my vehicle back tonight, but they would only be there until 6:15pm. Reaching out to the Meineke in Medford, NY they stated Alex and Juan (the "Owner" of this location) had been very rude over the phone, and trying to make them process the transaction with a personal credit card instead of how they are SUPPOSED to do it, which is by an in-shop invoice via their computer. From there, I reached out to Alex to relay the information. He states "that is not how it works" and continued to refuse to give my car back until now giving me the ultimatum that I can just pay for it so "it makes my life easier." I had to have MY MANAGER of my job come with me because that is how uncomfortable this situation made me feel. Upon arrival, Alex and Juan still both refused to release my car until now the part was paid for. The original phone call stated the NY Meineke AGREED to pay for the part, I ONLY had to pay for the LABOR. They NEVER disclosed a possible situation that at the time of the repairs being completed their could be a mishap with receiving payment from their FRANCHISE PARTNER. Alex let me know he completely agrees he NEVER disclosed this to me, but again, continued to refuse to release my vehicle. Juan has now jumped into the conversation, as my Manager was extremely upset with the situation, the attitude of the "owner," and how poorly they were handling the situation. They just kept saying "you can pay for the part and get it over with so you dont have to wait" and that this was their "first time" ever in a situation like this, "apologizing" but still REFUSED to let me take my vehicle. I continued stating, how could you put your customer at fault while you are dealing with an INTERNAL issue. You are making your customer suffer while you are arguing with your FRANCHISE PARTNER. Juan and Alex, yet again, both agreed but said "that is how owning a business works." I still could not believe what I was hearing, as it felt like I was speaking with two children. The manager of the Meineke in NY, stated he could not believe the action that was taken by these two individuals, and that I should just pay for the part to get out of there and he would reimburse me via a check once I sent him a copy of the invoice.

In general, my experience is extremly terrible. I came to the shop for a brake hose change, they charged me 453 dollars and explained to me each hose is 94 dollars and plus the labor is this price. I said OK. I came in early in the morning, waiting there for couple of hours, then they told me they are not doing anything yet, because the marterialis not there. So I took a taxi back home. Half an hour before the shop is closed, they called me to pick up my car. So I took a taxi to go there, when I arrived, they told me they havent solved the problem and gonna call me in two days. I took a taxi back home again and called them the other day, they told me I have to change brake blast cylinder, and gonna charge me more than 900 dollars. At the same time, I was trying to contact my old car repair shop to get a warrent from them. So my old car repair shop negotiated with Meineke, and Meineke called me to pick up my car. I took a taxi again. When I went there, I saw my bill is 290 dollars, which each hose is 64 dollars, and I found out later they didnt change the blast cylinder, whcih they did not tell me in the first place. Once I sat in my car and started it, I felt my brake is super tied, so I drove around 5 minutes, I felt my car is very hard to accelerate and it would stop without braking, meanwhile, I smelt something is burning in my car. So I drove back and they took the car again telling me the brake is locked. So I took a taxi back home calling them multiple times to check my car. After another day, they called me that they dont know what cause this problem, they are not responsible for that and they request more money to change my blast cylinder after they told me my blast cylinder is OK, and they are not sure they could fix the problem or just took my car away. And their attitude is very bad to me saying Im trying to blame them for my own problem. But the truth is I dont have a brake lock problem before I entered Meineke. So I talked with Customer Service, the lady told me they are happy to charge me more money to replace the blast cylinder or I take my car away. What a terrible shop and customer service. They are dishoest, poor in skills and extremely unfriendly. By the way, I found that one small part of leather of my steering wheel is grinded away when I picked up my car.

Good morning, today was my worst experience do it a service in my car ... in the first time I meet with the owner ,that person was excellently and Jonathan too... I tell him I need a alignment and rotation , but I left my car in other place for change oil... when they finish I will come back. Nice in fee minutes I came back, Im parking front the office door because I dont have idea if I need left in the parking lot or at front the place for alignment ... but in that moment the manager hit my car with other customers car, and he coming into the office and screaming to me because I left my car over there, this person was crazy and disrespectful... he crashed two cars, he dont take the time to check around when he start to move the cars ... and coming to try to fight with me , he nerver come to me for apologizes.. what happened with him? What kind a manager is this guy ? His name is Alex Santana or something like that.. hes very aggressive ... I want to tell in all the social media all my experience with this variety of services so that the other clients know that this place have a really bad manager , It is unfortunate that this place has such a nice and helpful owner and has this kind of people working there ... and more in a position of manager... I hope they have done a professional job in my car, I do not know what to expect, I do not feel safe
