I was having problems with my wifes Toyota Sienna. It would run for awhile and then stall out. My brother is a Mechanic.However he lives in CT and normally, when I lived up north, he would take care of it for me, which I thought was very cool of him. Anyway, I called up and told them what the problem is and they said bring it on in and we will have a look at it. I asked will there be a charge to look at it. They said no. I was impressed with this because every other shop I called, wanted to charge me to look at it. I said great! Even when I got there, I asked them again, theres no charge right? they once again said no. So they brought it in and while it was on the lift, they were checking it out and doing there thing. meanwhile...I met a lady in the waiting room, who was sitting across from me. I asked her, have you ever used Dr brakes before? She said I have 3 cars and I will not bring them to any other place. At that point, I felt secure I was in the right place. So they came out and told me all the things my van needed. Now... I am never crazy about paying for car repairs. Then again who is. We worked out a good arrangement. They did the work and even did a couple of extra things free of charge. The work was done about 6 months ago. Since then, I havent had any problems and the van runs great. Could I have saved a couple of bucks if I shopped around some more. I am sure I would have, but chances are I probably would have not received the quality workmanship and the professionalism that Dr Brakes gave me.

I did not have a good experience here. I went in for a wheel alignment. My car was veering to the left a bit and also wobbling at high speeds. I went in at 9:30am and we agreed I needed a wheel alignment and my tires balanced and rotated. There is a package that has all that for $99. That is a good price! He said it would take about 45min. Well 45min came and went, I didnt hear from him. At around 1pm I called to check on it, he said it was not done and it would be done in 45min. At around 2pm he called me to tell me it was done. So right away Im irked because this 45min job turned into a 5hr job. Not cool. So I paid my $100 and the darn thing STILL veers to the left, only slightly less. The steering wheel wobbling is lower, so thats good. But it still veers to the left AND my tire light keeps coming on even after I press the reset button over and over. So all in all, bad experience. I still need to get this thing fixed but Im going to take it somewhere else. The wobbling in the steering wheel is fixed, but Im generally not happy and I will not be going back.

Dr. Brakes is an honest, kind and reputable mechanic. I called Dr. Brakes for immediate service on my vehicle after having a miserable experience with another mechanic in the area. I had planned on leaving for a trip to Orlando, FL later in the afternoon but woke up to find my check engine light on. Ron and Mike encouraged me to come to the shop as soon as possible. Once I arrived, they took my car immediately into the shop to look it over and diagnose the issue. Not only did they fix my car within the afternoon, they also gave me the most fair price. I had been quoted by another mechanic to fix the issue for $1,500 (not including labor!). Dr. Brakes fixed my car for $800 (including labor) and had it done for me the same day. Dr. Brakes succeeds at providing the most comfortable automotive experience. They kept in contact with me about the status of my vehicles repair. They were kind and understood my situation and made every effort to repair my vehicle at their earliest convenience. I would highly, highly recommend!

I have had issues with my AC blowing hot for the past 3 months. I took the car to one repair shop and they could not find a leak and said it was the compressor. Of course I wanted a second opinion and asked friends of a place they trusted. A name that kept popping up was Dr Brakes on wiles rd. A friend said he has been going to them for 8 years and they could be trusted. So I decided to give them a shot. Ron the owner was great and offered a free diagnosis on the car. Jose the tech was able to find the leak in the evaporator and show me the issue. In my head I am thinking how much this was going to set me back( quick Internet search on pricing had me worried) . I was pleasantly surprised how Ron worked with me on the price and got a great deal. They were able to get the issue resolved that day. I would highly recommend Dr. Brakes and will definitely be going back for any other service needs. Thanks Ron, Jose and Mike the manager for making my experience a good one

For over 5 years Ron & Mike have proven to be the BEST and the MOST HONEST guys out there! First time I took a car in--my husbands car had something wrong with the Brakes--they took off all 4 tires, check out the full brake system--found something loose--and fixed ALL FOR FREE! They had me there. Ever since, every repair has been perfect--and they always make sure whats wrong before repairing something--and if its a $100.00 repair--they dont charge you more then just the work they repair. Ive had clogged filters be the only problem--and not had a huge expensive repair bill. BUT BEWARE--there is Another Shop with a similar/same name--NOT THE SAME GUYS--that Guy wanted to charge me $400 to replace a broken mirror with a used part--Ron & Mikes was $220.00 installed for NEW. Dont make the mistake of going to the Wrong Dr. Brakes. Wiles Road is the Right One!! Worth the Drive from ANYWHERE.

I was a past customer of Dr. Brakes and I was always so amazed at the fast, accurate and friendly service that I received there. All of my coworkers and family also are customers! I bought a new car and was almost sad to not be able to go back there since my car was going to be under warranty. As it turns out I needed them in a hurry today! I had a nail in my tire and needed it fixed right away. I called and had my car in there in 15 minutes where I was treated with courteous, compassionate and careful consideration! I would like to thank Matt, Damien and most of all the owner Ron for knowing how to run a business and how to treat people! There is not a better car repair service that I know of anywhere not just in Broward County anywhere at all! You will be doing yourself a disservice not to use them for all of your car needs. What a great team!!

I needed to replace the front rotors and pads on my car, Firestone qouted me $389.66, I thought that was too much. I hate shopping for cars and car repairs, because they both leave me with the feeling of being taken for a ride. you know what I mean, they always find more wrong then there is, mud valves, muffler bearings, they are mostly blood suckers..... Well Ive found a good one, Ron at Dr. Brakes, HONEST, and REASONABLE price, and topped off with great service!!! This guy can be trusted!!!! Check this out...He did the job, while I waited and his charge...$268.07 out the door...WOW, more than $100.00 less than Firestone. Would I use him again..Hell yes!!! Not only does he do brakes, but they do all automotive repairs, so need a second opinion, or just want a great price without shopping around, try Dr.Brakes, Charles, coral Springs
