Pep Boys may have deals on tires, but DONT go there for anything else!!! I have been using the one in Deland for about two years. I finally convinced my Grandfather to bring his car there and get his oil changed. They are supposed to do a 20 plus point inspection and check the fluids also as part of it...Guess what we went for two oil changes. My Grandfather first and then myself as he didnt believe they checked anything else. He was right. The transmission was not working right and so I took it to a diagnostic place. They never checked the other fluids even after they wrote it on the paper...even after I asked them 3 times!!! Transmission fluid was BONE dry. They are good for nothing...If you want someone you can trust dont go here!!! try MIN-EKE I have been there and should have been giving my business to them or DYNO TUNE also.

We were trying to save some money after decades of Michelin purchases. I put Hankook 727s on my wifes car after responding to a 4 for 3 deal plus bonus. So far so good. Great ride and better price. I was so impressed that I just bought a set of tires for my car under same sort of deal (4th tire free and bonus too). My tires took a little effort to balance but Jared and Andy worked hard to get them right. We are happy with our 2 recent transactions. We are very likely to shop here first. The physical facility was formerly another tire store and it is nothing to brag about. Current management seems to do a good job with what they have so no complaints. I am glad Pep Boys has this little place in DeLand.

Bought 4 tires last year for my wifes car. They were rated for 80,000 miles, but 3 out of 4 had tread separation after just 30,000 miles. Had her bring the car in to see what they could do and they gave her 4 new tires, free of charge. Problem solved in about an hour and she had her car back ready to go. I was so happy that they just took care of it for us instead of giving us a hassle over technicalities. Thats the kind of service that will keep us coming back there.

Horrible service! They took advantage of me! I needed an alignment and they didnt even inspect it first. They took my money knowing they couldnt do an alignment and that my car was unsafe to drive. My car started to jerk all over the road so I took it to Nissan. Once I figured out they knowingly took my money when an alignment wasnt even possible I requested my money back. Which they gladly gave back. Very untrustworthy. Will never do business with them again.

My husband has been coming here for years, and I recently went after being jerked around by nearby car shops. The guys at Pep Boys were honest, reasonably priced, and serviced my car quickly. As a woman, Im used to being lied to by mechanics that assume I dont know much, so I appreciate businesses that carry a sense of integrity and respect for consumers. Though some of their other rates can be a bit high at times, Pep Boys has earned my loyalty henceforth.

We were very pleased with the service we received from Roy and Shawn. Our tires were replaced and balancing and wheel alignment. We were supposed to have an oil change and it didnt get done. When I pointed it out to them Roy put the car back in and had it done in fifteen minutes. They were also very good about dropping us at home and picking us up when it was done. Excellent Service and very nice staff! Thanks!

Pep Boys was the only place out of 3 that was willing to check out my tire before saying it couldnt be repaired - 2 other places just looked at the tire and said, "cant be fixed, you need a new tire". Pep Boys fixed my tire at no charge. Thank you Pep Boys for your honesty! When I can afford 4 new tires, you will get our business!

Terrible. Liars. I went in for a clutch issue. I had just replaced my clutch a year ago. Rep said maybe I burned it out because the slave and master needed replacing. Estimate to the tune of $1400.00 . Went elsewhere and only slave and master were bad. Cost less than half that!!! Was going there for oil changes BUT NO MORE.

Pep Boys are phenomenal when another shop couldnt fix my car Pep Boys did it completely in 5 minutes and I showed them the write-up from the other place and why they couldnt do it and Pep Boys didnt even notice any flaws and since I had a $55 synthetic oil change they fixed a plug in my tire for free!

I sent my vehicle there to have the tires rotated and an oil change and they broke the lug nut off my wheel but theres just enough left but they cant get the wheel off very disappointing they sent me away and made me fix it myself

They dont have experts to deal with Toyota Prius(Hybrid) AC checkup. Not sure what kind of car problems fixes they do.
